Dinner tonight was a random surprise, and I'm so glad it was! I wasn't expecting to find fish with sambal matah, but it was the special of the day, and I'm so glad I tried it. The fish was Barramundi and it was cooked to perfection. The sambal matah was made with fresh ingredients. It was a perfect meal. The most yummy and must order!!! -> Salt n Pepper Squid 🦑

Positives: Great tasting banquet options and the serving sizes are generous.
Negatives: table and chairs a little basic and uncomfortable. Staff not observant to the little things such as bringing a water refill. They need to improve their level of service.

Only banquet menu available. I had the menu 2. The food was good. The fish main, had too much sauce and not much fish. The fish was good but the flavor of the sauce dominated over the fish, which needed a lighter flavor.
The service started out really well, but drifted off as the staff were concentrating on the table resets and not the last few customers. We were never asked if we wanted more drinks.
I expected better service for the price we were paying.

Tasty, modern fusion cuisine. Don't worry about the "takeaway" reviews, this is primarily a dine in restaurant so that's the best way to experience it. Great Beer & Wine selection, try the tasting menu but be aware, it's a lot of food so bring an appetite 👌

This was a great little spot for some pan Asian fare. Friendly and helpful staff, funky interior and reasonable prices. They have some lovely fresh cocktails too and nice dessert! I’d go back again.

I had the opportunity to dine in at Sweet Sour Salt. The combination of the dish was quite unique.
The steak was cooked to perfection and the glass of shiraz complemented the steak.

Change of menu and not announced, although the booking was done on the old menu one month ago!
Dishes were small and extremely sweet, some of the GF options they have a gluten component which wasn't part of the previous menu. Pork ribs are a desert, not a main. The duck was done too rare (almost raw). Beef was sweet but the singapore noodles are actually good. Staff not knowing the menu. Not coming back again!

Exceptional food, unexpectedly so - the lamb red curry in particular is unique and delicious. We also very much enjoyed the kung po chicken, and the steamed veg side. Lovely service too. We would visit again next time we’re in Orange for sure, and try some more of the short but tempting menu!
