Sweetfield Manor Boutique Hotel

We’ve literally just returned from our Couples Interlude experience at AquaSpa Sweetfield Manor Boutique Hotel. From the moment we arrived we were amazed by its surroundings, the quaintness of the hotel. It’s an old plantation house which has kept all its features and transports you back in time. My husband and I were directed to a cute room where we were introduced to Melisa and Rashida our therapists for the afternoon. |Our treatment included a full body scrub, full body massage and the most amazing facial I have ever experienced. Rashida had magical hands. I have never been able to relax when having a massage but she helped transport me to pure relaxation. |After our treatment we were treated to a drink and allowed to use the swimming pool which I can only describe as an oasis, with waterfall surrounded by luscious vegetation and the resident peacocks. |Cannot recommend this experience more and will definitely be returning when back in Barbados. |The hotel also has a restaurant that looked amazing so will definitely be trying that next time too. ||If you’re looking for seclusion, quiet and relaxation this hotel has it all with only 10 rooms ||Thanks for helping make our honeymoon unforgettable

We stayed here for a 2 nights & 1 day stay and loved every minute of it. The property is very special, decor, room cleanliness and staff are all on point.||The team were very attentive and helpful, plenty of staff around considering the hotel only has 10 rooms. ||Our room was lovely just as shown online, Cleanliness was on point. ||Reception staff were very informative and really helped us plan our itinerary for our stay in Barbdos. ||Only Cons of this place are:||The location is a bit remote, so you would need to hire a car to get about from the hotel, as taxis are expensive. If your looking for car hire Rodney is your man| +1 (246) 850-6252||Pool is very small, it’s ok for a short stay but not big enough for a true holiday experience. ||Restaurants food was pricey & our ribs were very tough. After telling our waitress she didn’t offer to replace or offer a discount on the bill which was a real shame considering we didn’t finish our meal. Mac cheese as lovely but overall we didn’t find the food was good value for money. ||Peacocks onsite made the stay extra special and unique.

Disappointing ‼️‼️‼️|Celebrate 2 birthdays & I don’t enjoy my birthday at all, the food was terrible, cold & had no flavor . The drinks on the other was not bad but could’ve been better & in terms of the service it was TERRIBLE , the waitress did not check on the table to see if we were doing okay nothing 🤦🏽‍♀️😤 just put down the food , refill waters & clear plates that’s it. For desserts the bread pudding was good , then the birthday plates came out they only brought one when we told them in the beginning that we were celebrating 2 birthdays , I felt so bad & I was ready to go at this point. Birthday Dinner RUINED |OVERALL I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND PAVO RESTAURANT TO ANYONE.

An incredible experience made so by the wonderful Natalie and her amazing team. Lovely, clean and very comfortable room. Beautiful setting. Would recommend if you like boutique hotels set in historical surroundings.

No staff around it is 6pm on Tuesday 13th Jan, no food available on mondays and tuesdays which we were not made awear of at the time of booking. No milk in the room so can't even make a complementory tea.. we messaged via whatsapp as this is the only way to communicate, no one responded

This is a little gem, located close to everything but tucked serenely away so it's calm and quiet. Full of character and charm with lovely rooms, each one unique, and the most lush little pool and jacuzzi surrounded by plants and trees. Oh, and they have peacocks. Couldn't ask for better.

Beautiful place to rest and relax. The hotel gives you a feeling that you are stepping back to the colonial period. Staffing members are very friendly and courteous. Excellent food offers in the restaurant 😋. Prices are half as in the US. This is a great hotel to recover from a long and tired flight.

On October 26, my friends and I dined at Pavao to celebrate a birthday. While the drinks were satisfactory, the food was inconsistent and, overall, quite disappointing. Unfortunately, the service we received also fell well below expectations.||Upon our arrival, the waitress assigned to our table appeared visibly uninterested and maintained an unpleasant attitude throughout the evening. Although the restaurant manager assisted our waitress during the service, her demeanor was also less than welcoming.||The most disheartening moment occurred when the birthday plate was presented. The restaurant manager placed it in front of the birthday girl in a discourteous manner, briefly said “happy birthday” without any enthusiasm, and immediately walked away. What should have been a warm and celebratory gesture instead felt dismissive.||I would like to commend the bartender, Dwayne who although was forced to be our photographer for the night, went out of his way to make our group feel comfortable, and took multiple photos for us without hesitation. ||Pavao has a beautiful ambiance and the potential to provide a wonderful dining experience, however, significant improvement is needed in both food consistency and customer service. I strongly encourage management to conduct additional staff training, to ensure that the service aligns with the restaurant’s overall standard.||What was meant to be a special evening for my friend ended up being somewhat disappointing, and I sincerely hope this feedback will be taken constructively to help improve the guest experience moving forward.
