Awesome place for lunch, great service, good healthy choices for a quick grab or on place lunch!

Google
This location is a mess. I ordered a take out protein plate with a side of red peppers and a side of Caesar. Every other location I’ve ordered from in this city is capable enough to know to put the red peppers in a cup. This location decided to just douse it all over my food, rendering a good portion of my plate inedible unless I spent the time to pull the red peppers off. The hot food was on top of the cold food. Just literal carelessness. Will not return.

Google
Got the caramelized garlic steak salad. The steak was unfortunately way overcooked and had no flavor. The other stuff was good but you get so little of it. I could see the bottom of the plate in quite a few places - don't believe the pictures on the website! You only get about 55-60% of the amount you see on the pictures. Other than the steak, it was good but not worth the hefty price for what little you get. Maybe if they took 5 or 6 dollars off. Or add more food to match the pictures.

Google
I’ve been here a few times and overall the quality is good…however, I would just double check your order when you pick it up. My order was missing a full portion of steak inside the bowl but I didn’t know until I got home. I tried contacting sweetgreen and Uber eats but no one could help me sadly! Better off getting it made there in front of your eyes to make sure all your ingredients get put in.

Google
The portions are getting ridiculously small, and they are always late with pickup orders. Even the food has become bland and the ingredients don’t look that fresh anymore. I’m not sure what’s happening with this company, and maybe it’s just this branch, but it feels like a sinking ship.

Google
I ordered a shroomami at the store and received a spicy chicken thing - was in a rush and didnt realize until I got home. Couldn't eat it. will order from other sweetgreens in the future.

Katerina Peregudin

Google
Service is always great but recently they’ve been cheeping out on ingredients, my bowl was third full… For such a costly salad to have such a meager amount is just not right.

Was excited to eat here since I've heard good things. It was my partner and I's first time so we were a bit indecisive, learning the ingredients and how the process worked. The woman serving us looked beyond annoyed. She was literally throwing our bowls down on the counter. Even my partner commented on her attitude to me privately. There was another woman who was smiling and greeting everyone - wish we got her instead. We pay and sit down where I realize our server got an ingredient wrong. The seating area was great, no blaring music, no cramped spaces. Overall the salad was very good, especially the chicken, but the pesto vinaigrette hardly has any flavor. Portion was generous so I'd hope they don't skimp anymore. I'd be willing to give sweetgreen a another chance but maybe earlier in the day or at a different location.

Yelp
Though maybe not the best salad you'll ever eat, Sweetgreens offers a variety of greens and grains, proteins, veggies, and sauces to build healthy salads and bowls with. You got a decent portions for a fair price, and the salads are pretty filling. I ordered mine online and 20 minutes later walked in and out of the store (skipping the line) with food in hand. The fast casual service, plus a healthy menu offering, makes Sweetgreens a win in my book.

Yelp
I used to eat here 5 times a week. Stopped going. Walked past tonight and thought I'd get a salad. I stood in line and waited while three people made to-go orders. As they did, they cross contaminated a half dozen ingredients. No one even looked up at me. So I left. Now I remember why I stopped going.

Barney C.

Yelp
Food: 2/5 Very meh. Lacks flavor and the portion size for the meals don't make it a good value. There are better options for healthier cuisines. Service: 4/5 Pretty nice and cordial. Ambiance: 3.5/5 Standard I guess. Clean and able to accommodate strollers. There's a small amount of seating outside.

Yelp
LMAO! Seriously, all Sweetgreens in NYC are not made equally. The Sweetgreen at Columbus Circle is the best, followed by the Sweetgreen at Columbia U which is still acceptable. I ordered the exact same salad I usually get everywhere. Here I basically ate a salad and it basically was like as if I never ate at all. So come here if you want to eat a meal, but don't want to feel like you ate a meal. Horrible! Also noticed at both previous locations, they always finish salads before the estimated time which I am super appreciative of. Here they take their sweet time and my salad was actually finished after the estimated time. They also didn't give me the red chili pepper when it was on my receipt and order. I didn't even want to pester the workers because they looked so over it.

Alex C.

Yelp
Doesn't like look much when you walk past it, but this is a great place for a light bite/lunch. We purchased the Kale Caesar and Chicken Pesto Parm - both delightful! My partner does not care for Caesar but loved theirs. I definitely will want to eat here more often. It's absolutely great! They do a great job with being creative with their salads and absolutely rock it.

Yelp
Love sweetgreen but this particular location has no supervision. The employees are surly and dead eyed

Thompson J.

Yelp
The Miso salmon protein bowl was terrible. Dry, thin, overdone, probably sitting out all day, fishy, with no miso glaze as stated. The white rice was crunchy. Total waste of money. Waste of money . Never again.

Anabella M.

Yelp
Seating area was not comfortable. Food was good, though I expected something resembling a fresh steak and not something pulled out of a freezer...

Cara T.

Yelp
If you know me, you know I love me some sweetgreen! I came here for dinner tonight and ordered ahead on the app. The salad was prepared to my specifications and ready when I got there to pick up. I definitely recommend ordering in advance because I have seen this location get pretty crowded! I got their version of a buffalo chicken salad, which I've had before. It was so great and very flavorful! I love mix of the hot sauce and the buttermilk ranch dressings. My one complaint was that I felt that my bowl was not as filled as it normally. It definitely was lacking some more greens and maybe some more toppings as well. Other than that, it was delish! If you are on the UWS looking for a healthy, but yummy meal, I definitely recommend this spot! It is especially good for ordering ahead if you need something quick!

Yelp
I ordered a warm bowl with wild rice and double chicken. It came with no rice and NO chicken. I chose 2 stars instead of none because at least my partners food was received intact, and they didn't put something harmful like broken glass in place of my chicken. The disappointment is overwhelming. I used to love sweet green and relied on them for a solid healthy meal when I'm hungry. Now I'm hangry and have no dinner and will not ever be returning to SG. Bye

Yelp
Yesterday was my first visit to Sweetgreen. I'm a diehard salad eater (worked at a veggie counter years ago) and wanted something healthy for lunch. Was too lazy to wash my own greens at home. Wandered into Sweetgreen. It wasn't busy, only one person in front of me. Another person came in after I ordered. 1) the lady behind the counter seemed very impatient with me not knowing the salad ordering system, 2) they only had plain chicken or black bean chicken for protein (no shrimp) and 3) my salad with avocado cost $15! The black bean chicken came with gristle still on it. I was very disappointed. No more paying for salads outside anymore. I'm going to use this experience to motivate me when I'm feeling lazy to wash greens at home again. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 3 is because I loved the thinly sliced sweet potatoes and will hack that idea for my own homemade salads. And Sweetgreen is still a good fast-food place (better than McDonalds) for New Yorkers to get their greens if they don't have a kitchen in their tiny homes to make their own salad. Read "Salad for President!" to get inspired.

Yelp
I am honestly outraged. My experience at this Sweetgreen was beyond disappointing and unlike any other I have had. When I opened my bowl I was greeted with 1/4 of a salad swimming in dressing. Swimming. My bowl included about 4 pieces of steak, 3 cucumbers, and half a handful of mixed greens. There were about 4 topping options available in the store. I paid $15 for something I could have fished out of a street trash can. I am a frequent customer of Sweetgreen, but can safely say I will never subject myself to this kind of highway robber again. Please avoid this location at all costs.

Sawako Y.

Yelp
I love Sweetgreen and used to come to this spot at least once a month pre-covid. During covid, I went twice and the quality had declined, so I'd stopped going. It is a great option for when you want a salad, though, so I tried it again tonight for the first time in months. I love the Harvest Salad, but this time, I ordered a Create Your Own with: - shredded kale, warm quinoa - cucumber, tomato, apples, toasted almonds - avocado, hard boiled egg, shaved parmesan - fresh lemon squeeze x2 You can choose up to 2 bases, 4 toppings and a dressing for $8.95+. The avocado, hard boiled egg and shaved parmesan are premiums and the total came to $14.75+. It wasn't ready yet when I went to go pick it up, but they started making it once I got there, so I didn't have to wait long. When I opened my bowl, I was happy to see that the quality was back. Slight discoloring of the avocado and lemon, but besides that, it tasted fresh and I enjoyed my meal. Looking forward to going back again :)

Yelp
I needed greens and greens I got. After an international trip where greens were rare, I passed a sweetgreen and instantly knew I needed to make a stop there. I ordered without modifications for the sake of ease and convenience. I went with my go-to, the Shroomami. It was filled to almost bursting out of the to-go box. My favorite, super fragrant and flavorful and SO much kale! Worth every penny to regular my digestion lol. It's super filling, even without rice. Definitely my go-to when looking for something lighter and easy to eat.

Devin O.

Yelp
This particular sweetgreen was outstanding! The kale Caesar and the park chicken salads were outstanding!

Royce W.

Yelp
Bathroom not clean and also not working. I asked for light dressing and the person poured it pretty heavy. Very cold.

Sarah R.

Yelp
The portion they gave in this location is like only half of what I got in midtown location. And I felt I've not having enough for lunch even though I'm only petite size. The first time a few days ago when I ordered, I thought it was just coincidence they gave much less because I asked to add a few options. The second time I pointed out to the lady, the manager also came and said: " IN FACT, it is more than a scoop." Guys, I'm not gonna waste my time telling you how much is exactly one scoop, the attitude you had is enough to stop me going again. Now after reading the review, I am obviously not the only one had such experience. If you let ppl with such work attitude to run the shop, there is no way to make it right.

Jeff S.

Yelp
This location is like a bad water faucet....it can run hot or cold and you are never sure which you will get. I have given up on Sweetgreen in NY entirely as their quality control has been on a downward spiral for while. I was spending a week in Coconut Grove Fl earlier this month and their location was really good.

CaribeGoddess X.

Yelp
Love sweet greens despite the few unsatisfactory experience it makes me feel healthy eating there

Giacomo C.

Yelp
This was my first visit to this restaurants chain specialized in yummy salads... and yummy they are. This location has a decent size room in the back with plenty of tables... a good space even if you're paying a visit with your kid on a stroller. Ratatouille bowl (cold): I asked for it to be strongly dressed and didn't regret it. The salad was flavorful, juicy, filling and well balanced. Harvest bowl (hot): also very good. Maybe too much kale, but I'm a kale-lover, so it was fine for me. Again, good balance of flavors. Overall, although not cheap, salads are good and plenty, and they provide a complete meal for far less than going to a restaurant. Their bread sucks, though. A couple of words about their service and state of the restroom: there's much to be improved. It took a few minutes to get the attention to those who were preparing the salads, and when they finally decided to do so, they looked like they were doing is a favor. The restroom was dirty and smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in a while... basic things you'd expect to be better... hence the drop of a star from the review.

Yelp
I'm not really into salad because I always feel hungry again after a couple of hours and it doesn't really satisfy me but sweetgreens proved it wrong. I recently always go to this spot because its closer to my new job and its the fastest food I can get and also because workers here are really fast. This season they have the curry cauliflower with roasted chicken, shredded cabbage, cilantro, quinoa, hotsauce, cuber tahini yogurt and arugula. This is my new favorite with medium sauce. You can also replace any ingredients that you don't like with something else. The sauce is a bit sour so don't put a lot. Medium is good amount that it doesn't overtake the taste of every piece of ingredients in the bowl. They have a lot of choices and so far all I'ved tried was really good. You can get some bread on the side for free. They also sell different types of healthy juices. My new favorite salad place!

Olivia J.

Yelp
I ordered the Cobb salad, which was nothing more than some lettuce and tomatoes and some onions. I think there was one boiled egg in there, red onion, and a few very thin slices of sweet potato. This salad was supposed to have avocado in it as well, but there was none. Considering the cost with tax, service fee from GH, and tip, it wasn't worth $27. This salad was a huge disappointment. I've gotten much better salads from a place called, Just Salad, in Harlem.

Julio R.

Yelp
As I get more experienced in Yelp and in tune with what it can accomplish, I realized it's not all about wine and dine, fancy schmancy restuarant reviews. You can support a franchise that has provided considerable service throughout the years. That being said, my wife and I Love going to museums and theaters, specifically in the West Midtown area - the Beacon theater and Museum of Natural History are two of our top choices. On many the occasion we have ordered from Sweetgreen. It would be our, go to, for healthy food alternatives. It's a relatively reliable choice for quick eats and healthy great tasting food. Their mobile ordering app makes it extremely convenient to order and customize their premiere seasonal salads or warm bowls. I usually get the Fish taco salad and she the Guacamole greens. So if you are not a fan of the service, use the app. =) For the most part, the food is consistent. It's not perfect every time, however using the law of averages it's good the majority of the time. So when you are in the area and want to hit the park, galleries, or museums, Sweetgreen is a very comfortable choice for some quick healthy eats.

Aaron L.

Yelp
Ordered via Uber eats and this is what I ended up with. Delivery itself was fine. A little messy but not a big deal considering it gets tossed anyways. The problem: The quantity is a little more than half of what I typically get from the other locations. St least what I received in the past (last ordered a week ago). Not sure what happened... maybe going public is making them skimp on the greens... Yeah a little disappointed. Hopefully a Cava opens nearby.

Isabel N.

Yelp
First timer at sweet green and it lived up to the hype. You walk in and see the amount of vegetable prep in the kitchen and you KNOW it will be fresh water you eat the area was clean as well. I got the Green Goddess bowl which was so so good. Just 2 things: the kale would be better if massaged, & even though I told them light dressing they put definitely more which I wasn't a huge fan of. Nevertheless, I still really enjoyed it. Not to mention i got it for $10!! Killer price for the amount of fresh, healthy food you receive. I haven't been to other locations yet but it is impressive how a chain is able to stay so good and have the rep it does.

Yelp
Build your own salad! Nowadays there are so many new restaurant that are "build your own". Poke, Mexican, Indian, and now salads! There's ALWAYS a long line here but it moves fairly quickly - kind of. They have warm bowls (with grains) and salads that they created if you don't feel like building your own. I personally prefer to build my own. I like getting a mix of romaine and kale for my greens, sweet potato, bean sprouts, cucumber, and cabbage for my toppings (pick 4), avocado ($1 for 1/2 an avocado!), chicken or hard boiled egg for protein and for dressing either the miso sesame or spicy vinaigrette. I like the open kitchen prep concept because you get to see them chopping their fresh veggies. They also list where their ingredients come from and which are organic. You really get a LARGE salad for the price. I can usually get two meals out of mine - if you're a bugger eater it'll probably just be one. I definitely recommend this salad spot if you're looking for something healthy! YUM.

Yelp
In the past few years, sweetgreen locations have popped up all over Manhattan. I'm officially in love. Obsessed. Blown away. I came for dinner and it was empty since these spots typically cater to a lunch rush crowd. Excellent idea. The menu is MINE MINE MINE ALL MINE. So what did I do? I made my own warm bowl with...everything. Or mostly everything. It consisted of: quinoa, apples, beets, broccoli, cheddar, tofu, portobello, cauliflower, and spicy cashew dressing...all paired with a green jasmine iced tea. It's so delicious I could cry. I'm actually sitting in sweetgreen eating my bowl and writing this review because its THAT GOOD. Marry me?

Seth E.

Yelp
Damn.... Arrived home after ordering a harvest bowl and a guacamole green salad. Guacamole green salad had no guacamole in it :(. I know it was just a mistake but it made me sad.

Lee P.

Yelp
The only thing better than the food, was the staff (Omari specifically). It was our first time, and the options can be a bit overwhelming, but their team was super cool and patient - taking their time to show us the ropes and make us the best salads of our lives. My 11 year old son said, "I'd choose this salad over an apple pie". We'll be back for lunch tomorrow.

K R.

Yelp
I consistently buy salads for pickup at this location while at work during the week as it's the closest to my office, and have been doing so for at least the past six months. I nearly always get the same salad and it's usually screwed up somehow. If I'm very lucky, the bowl is simply under filled and I'm left feeling a bit hungry - but all ingredients are correct. HOWEVER, when things go wrong... they REALLY go wrong at this location. I've bitten into rock-solid chunks of za'tar breadcrumbs and massively undercooked wild rice, multiple days in a row of the same missing ingredient, added ingredients when specifically asking not to include them... and just today, more than a few whole peppercorns! I think someone must have been re-filling a pepper mill and dropped a bunch of peppercorns into my bowl... how nice! These are only a few examples - there are definitely more that I can't recall. I will say that the staff have always been kind to me (especially with longer wait times at the pickup shelves at peak lunch hour), and I usually write feedback in the app to let sweetgreen know when something has gone awry. They always quickly follow up via email and apologize. However... there's only so many times I can deal with weird issues like the ones I and many others have experienced. 75th + Amsterdam is pretty consistently bad. It's a shame because I really do love sweetgreen's salads - just NOT this location. Please do better.

K R.

Yelp
I usually love sweetgreen but this location is terrible. Order was late and none of the salads had the bread that I ordered. Kale chicken Caesar was missing both the chicken and the Caesar dressing Warm Harvest bowl was missing the chicken and wild rice What a joke.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
I came here with my mom on a Saturday afternoon about 1:30pm. Maybe it's always like this but the line was out the door the whole time we were there! It does move very quickly when you get to the front though. It's like a chipotle but for healthy salads. Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience. My mom wanted the custom salad for 7.35 which includes a base and 4 sides. However, the options included in this are not listed anywhere. Some things are premium and cost extra but not all of those are listed so it's confusing to know what you can and can't get with the custom bowl. The premium things include chicken for $3, cheese costs 1.25, as does avocado. Service left something to be desired too. I went with the pre-designed "don't kale my beet salad," which included chicken, rice, beets, kale, and goat cheese. It was very good except for the fact that some of my rice was uncooked and I had to spit it out as it was inedible. I really wanted to like this place but paying over $10 for a salad should deliver something great instead of a basic salad I could get at whole foods. I also didn't like that the beets were raw and in big chunks so very crunchy...could have been grated instead.

Rose I.

Yelp
Love the concept of sweetgreen and am so glad they're expanding throughout the city. I'm not sure of the interior of other locations but this one on the UWS is spacious with ample seating. Booths for groups, table tops for two and longer community table for larger groups. I remember reading about their debut in the flatiron a few years ago. My job is located between flatiron and nomad locations and I live near the UES locations yet this is the first time I am trying them - and it's in the UWS. Anyhoo, I need to visit more often and try the rest of the menu. Love the broad selection of salads and bowls which you can order from the menu or customize your own. I ordered the Rad Thai and was very impressed. The Rad Thai consists of organic arugula, organic mesclun, bean sprouts, shredded cabbage, spicy sunflower seeds, organic carrots, cucumbers, basil, citrus shrimp, spicy cashew dressing. I saw the salad being prepared right in front of me and couldn't believe how simple the ingredients are yet so full of flavor. I loved the kick from the spicy sunflower seeds and spicy cashew dressing. The citrus shrimp a waorganic arugula, organic mesclun, bean sprouts, shredded cabbage, spicy sunflower seeds, organic carrots, cucumbers, basil, citrus shrimp, spicy cashew dressing. The combination of all the veggies and herbs (basil) and citrus shrimp made the salad tasty, refreshing, filling and satisfying. Would love to go back and try the other dishes on the menu.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Hot bowls, cold salad bowls, amazing agua fresca options, seasonal ingredients, locally sourced ingredients, seasonal menus. I got a harvest bowl which was warm and included wild rice, kale, goat cheese, sweet potato, vinaigrette and a lot of other delicious items. They ask you is you want light, medium or heavy dressing, but you can also get it on the side. This location is realty efficient, well-oiled machine, attentive employees, plenty of seating, outlets at every single table for charging your phone or using a laptop. I was visiting from North Carolina and I was blown away. Not only that, but we were a large party and had many other family members meet us (we were in town for a family function so people arrived over the course of a few hours) and we were comfortable and it was an easy gathering place. Thank you, Sweetgreen, for providing us with a healthy and happy option on our visit to the city.

Nadia B.

Yelp
I love sweetgreen and this was my first visit to this location, but the staff was rude. They were out of sweet potatoes and when I asked where they were at the end of the counter she snapped and said,"we don't have them." As if I was supposed to know that. I asked if they could replace them with another ingredient and she snapped, "you saw all the ingredients." And I pointed to the hot sweet potatoes and asked what that was and her response was, "Those are premium they cost extra." So I didn't want to argue, but if I'm paying for a salad with sweet potatoes, and you don't have any, you should offer an alternative or a discount. It's only right. I also asked for medium dressing and they gave a heavy amount, like soaked in it. Would not recommend this location, I would avoid it. Besides this negative experience, I usually love sweetgreen.

Rebecca A.

Yelp
Whoever said, "No great story started with I was eating a salad" was so wrong, I tell you. Sweetgreen! I met sweetgreen and it was love at first sight. Like from the moment I set my eyes on those Beautiful veggies, I knew we would be together forever. And so my dreams came true. A truly awesome super healthy, only salad option restaurant has opened in NYC and unlike Just Salad and Fresh n Co, Sweetgreen literally does make dreams come true. Starting with the amazing app they have so I can make orders online, pay with the app, get rewards and more. I've been to two spots here, one in UWS and in Williamsburg and I adore the fact that the space is so huge. So much room to sit, walk around, feel good. I create my own salads as I'm really picky and can I just tell you, their veggies are so damn good. I.e. the brussel sprouts, the spicy broccoli, the chickpeas, the roasted peppers. I can go on. I scrape my salad bowl down to the last bite. Their ice teas (0 cal) are also absolutely fabulous. I'm a fan of the chamomile mint tea. For the service they provide, the price is rather reasonable and so worth it. I've found a new love and we'll be together forever. (At least until the next fad lol)

Megan G.

Yelp
Second time I've done the order and pick up and am missing main ingredients. My chicken bowl has no.... Chicken Frustrating. Nobody says this doesn't have chicken when you pick up. So why?

Ruth B.

Yelp
I've come to terms with paying for Sweetgreen's over-priced salads. What I'm not okay with is taking home an over-priced salad for dinner, finding out that it was made incorrectly and missing key ingredients and then not being able to reach anyone at the location on the phone to get the actual salad I had ordered delivered to me or at least credited.I had to go back to the location and it was not close to my home. Do better! You have the profit margin.

Russ L.

Yelp
This place has amazing salads and rice or quinoa bowls that are customizable and healthy. The portions are enormous and there are great vegetarian options. I recommend a custom bowl with quinoa, kale, romaine, chick peas, corn, and tofu. It is hearty and filling. You can choose a salad off the menu or make your own. You can choose different bases such as kale, romaine , quinoa , wild rice , etc. You can add hot chick peas and other toppings. There is tofu, cheeses , and other proteins for an extra charge. The amount of food you get is incredible for the price and this is a great place to go if you are trying to eat healthy. The staff is friendly , but often seem overworked because so many people are ordering salads in person and online. Also, sometimes some of the fresh ingredients don't seem so fresh, such as cucumbers. Definitely try this place if you want a quick, healthy, and filling meal !

Michelle K.

Yelp
Always out of stuff. Always. Terrible wait times. Seriously if this company IPOs don't invest. Terrible supply chain issues, poorly trained staff, overall horrific experience. I don't even think McKinsey could fix their issues. When you walk in they announce what they are out of. It feels like Communist Russia.

John H.

Yelp
Sweet green somehow forgot my lettuce in my salad. Attached photo is from lunch delivery. Apparently you can't call them so texted to correct only to be told seamless won't redeliver unless you spend $70... offered a credit for the next time I want a bowl half filled with toppings. I understand that mistakes get made but the impossibility of speaking with someone combined with the refusal to correct the problem was unacceptable. Trying to push the blame onto seamless was absurd. And offering to credit my account did solve my financial issue w the salad but did not make me any less hungry on a busy work day. I won't be ordering from here again.

Andrea V.

Yelp
Flies, no toilet paper, not the friendliest service but decent salads , this sums up this location. I live a block away as of the past few months and have tried this place a few times now before I reviewed. My order has been messed up but they gave me that salad for free and made another so that was a bonus. I write today because this is the second time this week I have been there wanting to stay and eat in, but the bathroom is unpleasant and with no paper again and the flies made me get up and leave. I desperately hope this improves as other sweetgreen locations are above this one for sure and I'd be a very committed customer.

Urie D.

Yelp
Went to this place for the first time recently. I managed to go when it was pretty empty, so the person behind the counter was able to make recommendations and tell me how the place worked. The food was pretty tasty! I wish the person didn't mix it up for me, but I understand if that's just part of their presentation. I will say that I think this place is overpriced, especially looking at average salaries on Glassdoor for the NYC area, it looks like they pay minimum wage. If they were paying their workers a livable salary the prices would make sense, but that doesn't seem like the case. May be more of a special treat to me than a mid-work lunch.

Harshini R.

Yelp
They had run out of all their salad dressings and some other ingredients too. Very disappointing! I also had a piece of Saran Wrap in my salad

Myr J.

Yelp
The employees at this location have always been really sweet and friendly. So much so that a couple times I've had to run to the store and at 9:59 (a minute before closing), gasping for air, they kindly wave me in and take my order. The food has always been fresh. The counter has always been clean. In this time of COVID I have never seen a single staff member wearing their mask incorrectly. A couple times they have forgotten to put bread in...no biggy; and one time they ran out of blackened chicken...sad, but to go back to my first paragraph, it was at closing, so whatever. Also, it's a spacious location which is nice. Both in dining room and at the line. Unlike some of the other locations, I never feel cramped or in the way as I'm standing back to read the menu as I make up my mind.

Yelp
Prolly the sh*ttiest sweetgreen in Manhattan. Staff is unprofessional as a muhf*cker, salads thrown together all sloppy and what have you... Good seating tho

Yelp
I was definitely excited to see that sweetgreen had made its way to the Upper West Side during my last trip there. Sweetgreen has innovative salads, and they can pack a lot of unique ingredients in one meal. I didn't realize it at first, but there's a huge seating area next to the ordering room, and there's so much outdoor seating, as well. This spot is definitely popular - what sweetgreen isn't? - but they people who work here are definitely efficient. The line moves quickly. Better yet, place your order online ahead of time, and you can waltz passed the line and pick up your food without waiting.

Yelp
Cannot wait for the scaffolding to come down; this location of sg has the usual open floor plan, features numerous local and organic farm fresh produce, and is clean and has kind staff. The seating area attached is why I'm writing this review! Plenty of outlets, WiFi, and large windows make it easy to do work here.

Yelp
This place needs new management. Come 6pm on no matter what day of the week an employee is yelling a 10 page list of what they're out of, sending customers in a 180 out the door. There are only two time of the day people want salad: lunch & dinner. How you can not function during one of the most profitable times is way beyond me.... However, there was one exceptionally kind lady making my salad. Hope she finds a nice job elsewhere.
