Sweetwood Jerk Joint

Very delicious. Jerk was on point, smelt good and had deep flavour. The soup felt so warming and was very tasty. The sauces were good too!

Best jerk pork I’ve had in Jamaica so far. Very flavorful, hot but not so much that you’re burning your mouth off. Festival was good too. Definitely recommend.

Highly recommend. Delicious food at a great price. We had jerk chicken, pork, rice and (my favourite) festival. The atmosphere is nice, next to Emancipation Park. Everyone working there was really nice.

In Kingston for work and this place is just down the road from the hotel (Courtyard Marriott). Jerk pork and chicken are excellent, as is the hot sauce. Sides are often limited but the potato salad and rice and peas are tasty. Red Stripe is cold and goes well with anything. The staff is friendly and fun and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, they often run out of meat and sides (thus 4 stars vs 5), so come early or prepare to be disappointed. Overall, a very good spot for authentic jerk.

Very good place to buy Jerk Pork and Jerk Chicken with side orders, juices, beer and sodas. Nice for families and friends but the workers talk too much when they get comfortable with customers and disrespect people sending their money to eat. Need better workers.

A good jerk barbecue experience, minutes from the Pegasus hotel. If you're staying at the hotel its definitely worth checking out. Get the platter of jerk chicken, pork, and sausages.
