Swell felt like home. The people are SO nice and their approach is realy personal. The pool is superb, the room was very spacious and clean. The staff was super helpfull & could arrange anything. We loved our stay here, thank you again! Also, do yourself a favor and try their Shakshuka, it was the best.

I fell in love with this place! The room was possibly the best I have ever experienced in my life, I was staying in one of the swim-ups, so had literally the swimming pool getting to my private terrace. Incredibly comfortable bed, and even sofa. I was given towels for showering and additional towels for swimming pool/beach, which is a great plus if you forgot to pack your beach pareo 😅 The food in the restaurant was delicious, the service super lovely, very caring staff and wonderful owners, thank you all of you! ❤️ Shout-out to Moody the beautiful cat at reception!!! I will totally be back, can't wait X

Swell is a beautiful property that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every second. The pool is amazing, the staff were all kind and attentive, and the food was tasty. If you get hot easily, make sure you book a room with AC. Be sure to pack bug repellent too! The walk to the beach is super short.

I had the most incredible time at Swell. Everything was perfect, from the surfing lessons to the truly incredible food. Relaxing by their pool was pure bliss. It was all topped off by the friendly staff and the perfectly stylish rooms. Swell is a five-star experience!

Spent six nights at Swell, and honestly, I could’ve stayed six months. The place is one of those rare pockets of the world where time slows down just enough for you to remember what it feels like to breathe. The food is a clever mix of Central American classics with a European touch — fresh, flavorful, and never boring. You’ll want to eat everything twice. The staff? Forget “staff” — they feel more like a family you didn’t know you had, only kinder and without the awkward holiday dinners. They make you feel like you belong here, like you’ve always belonged here. And if you ever manage to leave the pool or the hammock, you can grab a surfboard for next to nothing and throw yourself into the waves. Swell isn’t just a hotel. It’s an oasis disguised as a hideout, a place where you can let the noise of the world fade into the background and just… be. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. And I’ve been around.

Shared a wonderful meal with friends here. We ordered all the salads on the menu, shrimp tacos and local beers. Everything was tasty, fresh, well priced. The seats are so comfortable and it has one of the best pools in El Paredon. The staff are attentive and helpful. You can tell that the Swell team works very hard to maintain the property, care for guests and give everyone that walks through the doors a wonderful experience. Highly recommend ❤️

The rooms are great, very clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and if you don’t mind walking a few blocks to the beach the location is fine. It’s a small town and easy to get around.

We had wonderful stay and the friendliness from staff started well before our arrival. Our room, outdoor shower, the hotel pool, bar & restaurant were wonderful and we felt safe and well taken care of throughout our entire stay.
