Swings & Roundabouts Yallingup

Went for lunch and it was very busy, so I’d definitely recommend making a booking. The pizzas here are always amazing. We ordered the salami and bomba pizzas and both were packed with flavour — they were so good we finished them within minutes! Food did take about 30 minutes to come out, but the place was very crowded so it was understandable. The venue itself is great, with lots of seating options, fun swings to sit on, and both indoor and outdoor areas. After lunch we walked around the gardens which are really spacious and nice to explore, then grabbed salted caramel gelato from the stand near the playground. Overall, great food and a really nice vibe — just be prepared for a crowd!

Can a brewery actually do restaurant well? Personally it felt like a mixed bag. As I didn't have any real drink to go with the meal, I can only review the food as is. Our group had the bomba and the margherita pizza and I find the bomba pizza to be lacking in chorizo, both the amount and the saltiness umami. However I find the margherita pizza to be quite good despite lacking in cheese . I guess the Italians perfected the simple formula of a good pizza with little ingredients but of higher quality though in this instance I think they could've added a little more cheese. The cuttlefish with XO sauce and capers was tasty and I find the pea puree to be quite pleasant. What's not pleasant was the addition of green peas in their fresh pasta. Even squid can't elevate this dish. Maybe I'm used to a proper slow cooked ragu with beef and pork but I blame chorizo for being the short cut way and ended up coming up short. I guess the price is the norm for restaurants of brewery but I personally find it to be slighly on the high side when compared to restaurants in Perth. Taste factor: 5/10 Cuisine: fusion, Italian

This winery is a must do!Good wines on both white and red ranges. We had the eggplant goat cheese pizza and it was delicious. The tasting is good. The winery is super dog friendly (dogs are also allowed during the tasting). The place is so beautiful with stunning garden views

Great venue. Initial entry good was taken to our table by a young boy who was pleasant and accommodating and advised us to enjoy our stay. We ordered off the menus given, we were only provided the special pizza menu and main menu. There was another menu for food from grill which wasn't given to us - disappointing not to see all options. We ordered the Bomba pizza and the duck leg. 45 mins waiting for our food, the duck arrived first followed by the pizza 5-10 mins after. I would not think a wood fired pizza would take this long to serve. The menu is quite simple. The duck was mediocre disappointing. The pizza was great but the wait time for a Woodford pizza well not really acceptable especially paying for a public holiday surcharge. Overall a Mediocre experience, we book at 1pm thinking service would be reasonably quick, however not really the case. Table 14 - we saw our hostess a couple of times she was nice, didn't have to do much as we ordered via the qr scanner. Left feeling the venue is ok but nothing to recommend to others.

Good food and wine. The pizza is a must get. Was super busy when we went on Boxing Day. Still everything flowed; the wine, beers, pizza, the vibes. Super kid friendly and spacious out back. Hats off to the friendly staff and team there all with smiles on the holiday and keeping us filled with super chill vibes.

Beautiful place. Ordered via the qr scanner which said kitchen was busy and expect 30min wait. No problem. Ordered a couple of glasses of wine, antipasto board, chicken pizza with sundried tomato and basil. Got the drinks fairly quickly. After 50mins, pizza arrived which we started to eat, it was not worth $30 and had only one basil leaf on it, as pictured. Asked a male staff member about the antipasto board and he said and I quote “when it’s ready, it will come out”. Left it another 10mins which was an hour after ordering and asked a female staff member who kindly checked for us and promptly bought the antipasto, apologising for the wait. Will not hurry back. Disappointing over all for the price. No one came back to see if we wanted any further drinks or even more water.

Underrated place for young families, large nature playground suitable for young toddlers to older kids. Lots of climbing focused play and massive lawn for a picnic/ playing ⚽🏈 Pizzas were above average and staff were accommodating. We forgot to heat up our baby food before departing and they were willing to use the microwave in their office to heat it up (initially went to the kitchen but was told there wasn't a microwave there) Will definitely be back when we return to the area

The staff were amazing, looking after us for our Nanna’s 90th birthday celebration, continuously bringing us things we didn’t even know we needed yet! The food was spectacular, tastiest pizzas ever, antipasto boards to die for, and the individual kofta, octopus and gnocchi dishes were delicious. The little kids always have the best time on the adventure playground too. We can always count on Swings and Roundabouts for the memorable times. See you again soon ❤️

Delicious food albeit slightly lacking salt. You order at the bar, giving them your table number and then they bring out the food to you. Generally, that kind of service makes me think the place is not as high-quality as full table service however this one surprised me. The pumpkin salad definitely needed more salt and the curry coating on the pumpkin was a little strange with the greens, however with a little salt, and then taking some of the hot honey from the other dish, it worked well together. Our second choice was the bruschetta with roasted pears, blue cheese, cream, roasted candied, walnuts, arugula, and hot honey. It also needed a little salt and once we added that it was delicious. The toast was a very thick slice probably an inch and maybe 7 inches long or more. Cutting it in half was perfect for two of us. We did not order pizza, although it appeared to be Neapolitan style with the floppy center. Others seemed to enjoy it. The place is rather large, lots of tables inside and out.

We went to this place as we saw it was popular, there were loads of car parked in the car park. It was popular indeed. We ordered the pizza and it was good, but it's on the pricey side. Compared to the size and the ingredients on the pizza. It's Pet and family friendly and there are loads of outside area for you to sit on the grass.

After being away for a few weeks doing my best Leyland's Brothers impression on air planes both abroad and interstate, I organised a weekend away down to Margaret River with my girlfriend. It had been a few years since I'd headed down that way to do anything else aside from fishing and it was a nice surprise to see how much it'd had changed and grown. We got into town in the early evening and was happy to find that Swings had availability for a booking. We had a little difficulty finding a car park with how busy it was in town but ended up getting a park less than 25 metres from the front door. We walked inside and was greeted as staff walked past but found it a little awkward with the set up for patrons walking in, as it's more like a bar in that you gravitate to the beer taps rather than having a set place for folks to wait to be seated. I guess though that it's a Tap House first. The service was good and without fuss and the food was good too. The Forefathers English Brown Ale was nice but I wasn't as fond of how it complimented the food but that's my fault, as I'm a sucker for a good brown ale. The Harissa Chicken Wings and the Sautéed Mushrooms were nice as was the Chermoula Braised Lamb Ribs. The only thing that was below par was the Mac and Cheese as it lacked flavour and could have had a touch of salt. The issue was there was no salt and pepper on the table, which is fine but it tasted bland for both my girlfriend and I. I'd happily go back there again though, as overall it was good and I'd like to try a pizza next time. Cheers! Dave.

Cute little winery in Margaret River. This came as a recommendation from a young hipster chef the night before so thought we would try this on our way down to Prevelly. Having such a sweet tooth, I immediately fell in love with their cane cut fortified wine - was a shame I only purchased the one bottle. Recommend for a drop in.

No trip down south is the same with out a trip to Swings and Roundabouts, lovely rustic winery with very friendly staff and amazing pizza. Great place to sit outside enjoy the view and spend the afternoon

We had a great stop here on the way back to Perth after a wine tasting weekend in Margy. Loved it! There was live music, delicious wood-fired pizzas (Wednesday - Sunday) and decent wine. We grabbed a bite and sat out the back. Alas the weather was average, otherwise we would've sat in the gardens. Wines: pretty good, not amazing.

Disappointing!!! Returned to a great venue but very disappointed this time. Kids macaroni was tasteless and dry. Pizza very very over rated. Ordered 3 pizzas one with prawns try and find them under tomatoes so really just fresh tomato pizza others limited toppings. expensive for a not so good lunch.

Wood fired pizzas from 12-3 on Sundays (maybe Saturdays too), well priced and the pizzas are SO good! Worth checking out! Definitely head there if you're away for the weekend with friends - perfect place for chilling out for the afternoon.

Living locally, we often drop into swings given it's laid back atmosphere, kid friendly things to keep them occupied and large lawn area overlooking a Neighbor vineyard. With a choice of seating areas, supplied picnic rugs & big bean bags you can get lost for time enjoying the sunshine or shady gums. The coffee is hit and miss, sometimes cold and one morning we waited about 45 minutes at a seemingly quiet time. The staff aren't that over friendly or cheerful and don't expect a wide range of sweets/cakes on offer or other snacks for your morning tea; Pizza is their speciality and only available from 11 or so. Super yummy but a little over priced. Haven't tried their wine yet... Overall the relaxed setting makes up for the somewhat frosty customer service.

A morning spent with my friend Nd our kids at Injidup beach and on our way back to Smiths Beach made a last minute decision to call in for wood fired pizza and live music on the lawns here. So glad we did. Kids plAyed cricket and lounged in beanbags whilst we enjoyed the view, company, and wine along with awesome pizzas.
