Swinton Estate

My wife and I had an excellent evening away. We used the spa facilities and had food at the Terrace restaurant. The food was excellent, helped along by some nice wine and cocktails. The staff throughout the estate could not do enough for us and they were all extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was great, with lots of choice. A special shout out to Tom, the waitress in the Terrace restaurant and the Spa reception ladies...........We got a sense that people really enjoyed working there. We will definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Swinton Park Hotel. The spa is exceptional, very clean and everything functioning. The spa garden is beautiful and a lovely place to sit in. The room was comfortable and spacious and very clean. The food was delicious, service very good. The grounds are beautiful to walk round with forest bathing and views across the lake. A very restful stay.

We came to Swinton for afternoon tea and it was superb! The service was amazing start to finish and the staff all so friendly. The food was great, we were told all about the locally sourced ingredients and everything was not only delicious but was presented beautifully. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting that afternoon tea experience.

We enjoy treating ourselves to a couple of nights at the main hotel when Samuel's Restaurant is open. This time we also tried Chef's Table which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was all well worth the price. There is impeccible descrete but friendly service throughout.

We spent 3 nights at Swinton Park and thoroughly enjoyed our break. The friendly staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel lounges are elegant and comfortable. Our room was beautiful with glorious views and the daily walks round the grounds and lakes were a joy.

Swinton Park is a delight. The setting and ambiance are excellent. The hotel is ideally situated for a visit to the Yorkshire Dales. All the staff were helpful - nothing was too much trouble - and unfailingly cheerful and pleasant. There is lots to do and see on the estate and in the hotel, or you can choose to just relax in the spacious drawing room and lounges. We have visited several times and are looking forward to returning.

We enjoyed spending time with Lady Susan over lunch and also in the gardens. The lunch was excellent, using vegetable from the gardens and the walk with the highly informative Lady Susan was the icing on the cake. A delightful day which we hope to repeat next year.

A perfect romantic getaway! There was no reason to leave the hotel - it had it all! Luxury rooms, free cocktail tasting, walks in the extensive garden, billiard/darts room and the best spa we’ve ever been to!
