No breakfast, no fitness center, no room maintenance, unsafe practices and unsanitary, no daily house cleaning services, and are so cheap they don't leave the fridge on. Going to any motel, I would expect these things and not be upset, but those also cost $50 a night. For $140 a night (what I paid at Swiss Alps), I expect some kind of luxury, at least an apple I can grab in the morning?
Multiple items in our room were broken: our room window had no screen and was left unlocked by staff, the curtain rod was unattached, and the hook for towels was ripped off the wall.
The mini fridge and coffee maker is in the bathroom right beside the toilet....extremely unsanitary and unsafe.
Lastly, everyone has 1 physical key that allows them into their room, the pool area, and to the vending machines...meaning that everyone has the same key. What is keeping the room next door from opening your own room in the middle of the night? Unsettling.
Overall, it was extremely outdated and overpriced. If you are planning a Scuba trip through any training facility: Go through the headache. Book a lower priced, nicer room down the road and drive over to Swiss Alps to meet with your instructors. It will be worth the hassle.
