Swiss-Belcourt Kupang

For the two nights we stayed, there were rowdy people at the lobby laughing and talking so loudly that we could hear them in our room at Level 3. I’m not sure if the lobby playstation was a cause. On the first night at 12am after we told the receptionist that they were interrupting our sleep and sitting outside our room, there were repeated knocks on our door and hellos which was scary. Was there no hotel security? There weren’t any at the door throughout the day- we observed people entering freely. Secondly, past reviews of faulty rooms were real- we had repeated aircon failures and showers with suddenly no water. The pillows were rock hard and uncomfortable. Kettle lid was faulty. Thirdly, some of the receptionists (except for Shawal) were unhelpful- they said yes to everything with zero action. The room cleaner was more helpful- alerting the mechanics to fix the issues. The only thing I am thankful for is that the hotel was quick in replying my WhatsApp and facilitating my initial wrong booking refund. Even though the rate per night was affordable, this hotel seems catered to locals and domestic tourists with basic needs. For our safety and comfort, unlikely to return again.

Rooms, beds and bathrooms very dirty. Despite the big size of the rooms (2 family suites), the cleanness of the rooms is a disaster. Sheets are dirty, wall of the toilets are dirty (don’t want to know what it is), ground has not been cleaned. Restaurant is open but empty, check in is very slow (no reason).

My kinda bad experience was the electicity went down over 3 times and the output made me move out to another room. Thank u for the kind offer. The hotel quite strategic from beach and food stall. I love it here. The food restaurant are nice but one of the table has a lot of ants even there's no food. Pls pay attention to it, make the ants disappear by spraying something.

The staff handling the check in was slow, I arrived at the hotel at the hotel at 11am and he told me I have to wait for 3 hours before I could check in but the other guest that come after me at 12 pm could checked in just fine. It’s stressful tbh

I was here for the short transit. The place is quite good good service at the front desk and quick response for the call. The room is facing the city, wide enough for superior size, clean, toilet and shower works well, full amenities, cool as the AC works well. Another point is, I will be back again as this hotel comes into my recommendations to stay at budget hotels near the seashore of Kupang City.

First impression of the hotel - IG fanatics would love this hotel because of the decoration. It's decorated with various styles of chairs everywhere, fun and colorful, creating a happy atmosphere.Love the stay here though it's just a one night stay before the flight to Bali. Check-in and check-out very smooth. Very friendly and efficient front desk staffs. Since I arrived before noon, hotel gave me an early check-in, also quickly react to a little problem in my room. They can help you to order Grab car in case you don't have the app.Hotel is not that far from the Kupang airport. Lots of good restaurants, convenient stores and beach within walking distance. It's definitely worth to pay a little bit more for a seaview room - the seaview and sunset is stunning!!! Even the elevator is made with glass so you can enjoy the seaview while going up and down. Breakfast is buffet and mainly Indonesian style, taste is fine. Shower water pressure is good. The only flaw I can find is restaurant service was pretty slow and not that attentive. I was the only guest at the restaurant during dinner, maybe they were busy with the takeaway/ room service, so been waiting for a long time for food. Luckily, taste of the chicken was delicious.It's a shame the hotel doesn't have swimming pool so you can only go to the beach right in front of the hotel. Anyway, I will surely book Swiss Belcourt Kupang again and highly recommend to all travellers visiting Kupang.

Very nice hotel with water front. The room is great with ocean view. Beautiful decor in sun room. Everything is great and we extended twice for over week long.
