What a great motel. The rooms were a good size, beds are very comfortable with nice linens. Our room was so clean. Location is easy to find off the highway and is within walking distance to some great restaurants. We liked that each room has an assigned parking space.

A good older hotel very tastefully updated and fairly priced. But.... it is located next to a busy road and a main line rail system with trains constantly passing. Not only is it loud but you can feel the vibration! They offer a breakfast but it is very frugal, no bread, buns or cereal. Coffee is served but milk Is offered instead of cream. A couple updates would go a long way.

We stayed at the motel twice, on a trip to and from the west coast. The rooms are small but clean and very well-appointed. The bathrooms are well-lit and have modern fixtures and good water pressure for the shower. Large TV with lots of available channels. Free continental breakfast. Free parking and all rooms are at ground level. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Very reasonably priced. Only caveat is that the motel is beside a busy road and the main railway line is on the other side of the road, so it can be noisy.

This is a great central place to stay. Very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful! There is a big area with free breakfast and hot drinks. They also have automated hot drink machines giving you lots of options… and it’s all free. Great place to stay! I’ll be back!

We had a lovely one night stay at Swiss Chalet Revelstoke on a road trip. Service upon check-in was friendly and helpful, rooms are newly renovated and impeccably clean, lovely decor in a rustic style that matches the mountain town vibe, and super comfy beds. Needed earplugs but that didn't bother me. Would 10/10 stay again and highly recommend.

Stayed the night on route to Banff. Was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful big room, great beds & pillows. Nice bathroom. Very clean. Near railway lines but didn't bother us at all. Short walk into town, nice restaurants. Lovely young lady checked us in, very friendly & helpful. The next morning we received great help from Marich. Would definitely recommend this place.

This motel is super clean, the rooms are tastefully furnished and the beds and linens are of super quality and comfy. The shower is powerful and the soap out of the soap dispenser smells sooo good ( this comment is for all the ladies) you even have a little dove bar and the towels are fluffy. Everything feels well thought out and cared for, which is not what we expected when we drove up. The staff was also very accommodating giving us a ground floor room due to our heavy luggage. I can only recommend staying here.

The family has been on a road trip across the provinces. We have stayed in various hotels, but this was our first motel. The service was hospitable, cheerful, and helpful. The room was the " cleanest" I have ever experienced. Especially the bathroom. Something I always look for. This establishment is worth 5 stars. Modest in looks but rates 10 in my estimation. And, the beds are super comfortable.

Yelp
Beds were very comfortable, location was great (walking distance to shopping and downtown/restaurants), rooms were freshly done (new paint etc), price was right, staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast and availability of drinks through the day were wonderful, the available BBQ for cooking our own food was nice (took advantage of it a couple of times). For us the trains weren't a problem, I'd say it's a sleeping help with the rumble of trains, but for some could be a problem I suppose so be aware. A place I'd definitely stay again and have no qualms about recommending!

Yelp
Train noise is an issue but otherwise a simple, clean place to stay. I spoke with the owner, Eric, to clarify a reservation issue and he was very professional and pleasant.

Yelp
This property is doing everything right! There are bulk dispensers in the showers, low-water toilets, recycling bins in the room. So super eco-friendly. The brekky bags are nice (feel free to mix up the options for those of us staying longer) though I'd like to see them get back to in-person options soon, the all day and evening drink station was appreciated, and the room was great. A staff member accidentally double-charged me for the Expedia room, but we straightened it out. Great value for the money in a super location in a charming town. I'll be back!

Yelp
A solid motel, not so much for the rooms but rather for the service and the amenities. It's slightly pricey for what it is (I paid $84 including taxes for a very small and plainly configured single room that was barely larger than the queen bed it contained), but I'm not sure that you can do much better in Revelstoke, even in low season. The staff working the office were very personable and helpful, and included with the room were good wifi, a decent breakfast (continental plus boiled eggs and waffles), and passes to a local fitness/aquatic center.

Yelp
The service and room was great. This is a motor court that has been modernized in terms of the interiors. There is one problem: the highway and train noise. I did not sleep so well because of the frequent trains going by and the noise from the adjacent road. We didn't turn on the air conditioner. I don't know if we could have muffled the train and highway noise.

Yelp
This is a small hotel for a quick night stay on the way to Lake Louise. I picked it strictly on price and I am getting what I paid for - small room, tight parking, train tracks across the street with trains making noise and nothing exciting. The room is clean and the bed OK. Small flat screen on the wall but considering the size of the room - it works. The front desk greeted us and was nice and accommodating.

Yelp
Very friendly staff (I think they're all from New Zealand). Rooms were comfortable and well priced.

Yelp
Great motel, super clean, very accomodating staff. Upstairs rooms well worth the extra few dollars. Don't let the railroad tracks across the street deter you - yes they run all night but in two nights they didn't bother us and we were upstairs closest to the street with the windows and patio door open all night. I wouldn't even consider another motel if ever in town again.

Yelp
When searching for a place to stay overnight in Revelstoke, we found the Swiss Chalet. Knowing after a long drive we would like the jacuzzi, we booked into the Mackenzie room. We were thrilled to find a nice sized room with a fridge, king size bed, electric fireplace and the best 2 person jaquizzi we have ever seen in most hotel rooms, never mind a motel. We had a private balcony that overlooked the mountains and the train tracks. It was kind of cool to sit and bet on how long this train would be. A full hot breakfast buffet, super comfy room, sunset right in front of us, all on all it was a great stay!! This will definitley be the go to in Revelstoke.

Yelp
The room was small, however VERY clean, which was great. Also the breakfast selection was fine. The only disadvantage was the noise coming from the train and the cars, passing by all night long. We've felt like sleeping in intervals- always waking up due to the abrupt noise. The bed was a little soft for our personal taste. All in all we were satisfied, as we were just staying for 1 night. A longer stay would not work due to our disruptive sleep.

Yelp
We love this place. Go there every 2. Weekend during ski season. Super clean place. We enjoy having a breakfast buffet in the morning. The staff is super friendly and Eric does the best job with keeping everything up to date. Bathrooms have heated floors, so great to wake up to that. We wouldn't want to stay any other place. This is our 3. Season.

Yelp
Was very disappointed with the service we received here. The motel gets really great reviews but this was not reflected in the service we received. I was reluctant to book this motel due to its proximity to the road & railway. Due to the great reviews I went ahead and booked anyway but called the motel to ask that we be placed in a room as far away from the road as possible as I was a light sleeper. I was told this was possible. We arrived later in the evening due to a road closure, to find that we have been placed in room 101 - right next to the road! Then told we could not be changed but they would try the next day. Following day we heard nothing from motel staff. I had to enquire again about moving rooms only to be told that there were no rooms of 'our standard' available but the manager would be called. Over an hour and a half later staff finally rang us to say we couldn't be changed because the room they had for us was booked online by someone else!!!! The third day came and went and no one contacted us at all about our dissatisfaction with the noisy end room. There were new people coming and going from the motel the whole time, including the rooms of 'our standard'. I cannot understand why priority was not made to switch our room before new customers were checked in. The room was also tiny and the wifi did not work.
