I was highly recommended by fellow professional lawyers in London, UK, to visit the “Diamond Swiss Hotel.” I booked a stay as a Christmas treat, bringing along six adults and four children. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
Room 310:
• The room was absolutely freezing. Despite assistance from the service staff, the heating remained ineffective, forcing me to turn it off entirely.
• The bath was unusable as the plugs didn’t work.
• The television was out of order, and although a technician attempted to fix it, it remained non-functional.
• The curtains wouldn’t close properly, leaving the room exposed.
I raised these issues but received no satisfactory resolution. This is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to complain about a hotel, but this experience was among the worst I’ve ever had.
Positives:
The gym and bar staff were lovely and helpful, which was a small consolation amidst an otherwise dreadful stay.
Overall:
This hotel deserves no more than a 1/2-star rating. It’s a shame because the potential is there, but the management, particularly the CEO, needs to take a hands-on approach to address these issues. Without immediate improvements, the hotel is at risk of failure.
Very disappointed,
