We had such a wonderful two days celebrating my son’s birthday at the resort! The pool and kids’ facilities were fantastic. The bedding could be improved, especially the pillows, as I didn’t sleep well for two days. However, the service, crew, and facilities still deserve a 5-star rating.

It was an amazing stay! There were two thrilling slides in the aquapark. There is a huge trampoline area called the “Superdome”, reccomended for families with children. We played tons of pool and bowling. They were both very enjoyable. The accomodation was nice and welcoming with soft beds and pillows. Also the room where we slept was spotless. There is also a VR experience where you could participate in tons of games like Pirate Cook (which we found the funniest game).

Amazing holiday village with so much to do||Beautiful quiet location with amazing hikes on your doorstep.||Great accomodation (2 bed apartment) with everything we needed, spacious. Amazing out & indoor pool areas with lazy river, jacuzzi, slides perfect for all ages. Town of Brunnen and swimming in the lake 30 mins steep walk down but manageable and worth the walk (bus also available).|Helpful staff.||Outdoor pool was open until 9pm which was great. Beautiful views wherever you look, even from the outdoor pool.||We ate in Thai restaurant it was delicious ||Friendly service, beautiful location.||So much to do for all ages. The pools are free but other activities are chargeable which is to be expected for any holiday. ||We loved it. ||I read the reviews and scores on this website before I went and it made me not look forward to my break. It was an excellent place and should be much higher than 3.8 out of 5.0 average score! Booking.com customers rating is 8.3.||Can't wait to return. Thank you

The reviews here put me off somewhat but our experience was that, yes, Switzerland is expensive but you know that when you book and this is a beautiful location and a great property for families (think Center Parcs but smaller scale and with amazing views from the pool). Our apartment was spotless, the pool including changing rooms, was always clean and the local area was really interesting to explore - we went on a boat trip from Brunnen and up in a cable car at Sattel-Hochstuckli. On site, the pizza takeaway was lovely and the Thai tasted good (but was expensive from a UK perspective). We weren’t charged more than we expected for anything and found all prices transparent. Reception was really friendly and welcoming and provided helpful information when we checked in. The apartments are a bit packed in - we could hear our neighbours on the balcony - but for a family holiday I would recommend. The immediate local area is great to explore on foot with some water based play equipment at one end and a walk with beautiful views of the lake at the other.

I really wanted to leave a better review, but unfortunately the last half an hour of our trip really soured our experience. The rooms worked well for our family and the pool was great, but the check in/check out process really needs improvement. In all my years of travelling this has been amongst the worst. I had fully paid upfront when I booked, when we arrived we were given the key wrist bands, told briefly the layout of the resort and then sent on our way to our room, no issues there. When we got to our room there were towel packs on our bed, I recalled when I booked seeing a note about an extra CHF10 per person for towels, I had neither requested nor paid for the towels so I thought it was strange that they were there. Initially I thought I must have misunderstood something and that the charge was for additional towels or for pool towels and that we were free to use them. Fortunately as we had bought our own towels with us we didn’t use them and just placed the towel packs to the side. So you can imagine my surprise when we went to check out and they said I owed 120 CHF. I almost just paid thinking it was the tourist tax but then I checked my invoice and could see I had already paid the tax, so I asked what the charge was for and the said for linen and towels. I told them that we never requested towels and that in any event we didn’t use them. I also showed them in the booking confirmation that linen was included. They asked if the beds were made up when we went into the room, I said yes, after going round in circles for several minutes it seemed that the charge was not for the linen itself but the making up of the beds. They said I requested the towels and bed making, I most certainly did not request them and showed my booking receipt that made no mention of this. They insisted that I had. It was quite an upsetting discussion they were really accusatory and quite impolite. They told me I would have to speak to the manager and to have a seat until the manager was available. After waiting at least 20 minute the manager never appeared, they waved me over and said they had checked and I didn’t need to pay, but there was no apology. Whilst the correct outcome was reached, it was a really unpleasant experience being treated in such an accusatory manner, when the error was on their side. A hotel of this size should have check in procedures that prevent anything like this occurring.

We recently spent about three days at the Swiss Holiday Park, and it was truly a memorable experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome, thanks especially to two amazing staff members: Martis, a friendly and genuine young guy, and Stephanie, a super cool and down-to-earth lady. Both of them went out of their way to make us feel like close friends rather than just guests. They chatted with us, shared laughs, and made our stay feel personal and special. The accommodation itself was lovely, but what really stood out was the breakfast with absolutely breathtaking views of the mountains. Sitting there, sipping coffee while taking in the stunning scenery, listening to the soft sounds of nearby cows, and even spotting horses and a lake in the distance—it felt like something straight out of a postcard. For anyone who loves the outdoors, this place is perfectly located. One of the region’s biggest and most beautiful hikes is just 10 minutes away, and there are multiple facilities available on-site, so whether you want to relax or stay active, there’s something for everyone. All in all, we had a fantastic time and left with wonderful memories. A huge thank you to the Swiss Holiday Park team, especially Martis and Stephanie, for making our stay so special. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy getaway in the heart of nature.

Very nice rooms for families! Nice location above the lake with wonderful views of nearby peaks. There's a little park, trails to use nearby, free wifi, and free underground parking. There is a gym ($15 EUR/person/day) and an indoor water park (included). If you'd like towels in your room, they're $10 EUR/person; they're another $5 EUR/person at the pool, which closes at 10pm. If you'd like your bed made, that's an additional $10 EUR/bed. Breakfast and other meals are available for additional cost, and there is an onsite general store for more purchases. Also, prepare to pay additional visitation taxes ($20 EUR for two nights) and pay a deposit in arrival.

I specially liked our hotel room in the main building, easily accessible to all the entertainment for different ages and the wellness area. My favorite is definitely the mini karting for the little ones (indoor and outdoor!) - tired parents: prepare a good amount of coins to enjoy your coffee in peace! Would happily come back again for an easy weekend with the little one.

Yelp
there are loads of things you can do here. there's a wide varietyof sports (badminton, squash, climbing etc), some not so exhausting activities (bowling, snooker, mini golf etc), a spa and a couple of restaurants. in winter they even have a small skilift. if the weather's not so good and you're in the area, you can definitively spend a couple of nice hours here.
