Swiss Hotel Kashmir

My second stay at this friendly hotel. The owner Rouf and his no.2 Addaf are great hosts. Good rooms in a great location near to the lake and Lassa restaurant.

Swiss Hotel in Kashmir – A GEM Well appointed rooms with lot of windows that open and enjoy fresh air of Shankarachray Hill , free hotel parking , Wi-Fi was great and nice breakfast, shower, and lovely quality time with friends in the garden. Staff speak English. Hotel is located close to the Dal Lake. central square, Nehru Park is one minutes walk. Owner Rouf is a delightful host who runs several hotels and can arrange groups for accommodation and dinner. Highly Recommended.

We had a wonderful experience at Swiss Hotel. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to meet our needs. Perfect location near the lake. Would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Srinagar. Thank you Swiss Hotel! The rooms are nice. All the walls and floors are wooden with a nice cozy toilet. The toilet has a geyser so warm water is not a problem. It does not have a view of Dal Lake. It's just 3-4 mins walk from Dal Lake Ghat number 15. Sim card shop is available opposite to Ghat no. 15. Food options are also there. The owner is cordial and well behaved. They accept online payments. A word of advice is that please call beforehand and fix the price of the rooms over telephone and whatsapp.

We stayed in Swiss Hotel Srinagar two nights. It was an wonderful and unforgettable stay. The hotel is in the ideal location with peaceful atmosphere. The room and washroom are clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They were prompt in service. A small garden and lawn in front of the property gives you a decent place to chill with your family and friends. The owner of the hotel Mr. Rouf Rashid John is a friendly and kind hearted person. He was taking care of each and every things for the guests. ||||We strongly recommend this hotel for your pleasant and safe stay in Srinagar.

Swiss Hotel was a home away from home for my husband and me. We stayed here 3 nights initially and then came back for another two nights after a stay on a houseboat. The rooms are big and cosy at the same time. The room and bathroom were clean (unlike some other places we visited). The hotel is perfectly situated in a quiet and quaint backstreet parallel and very close to beautiful Dal Lake. But the absolute highlight of our stay was hotel manager Rouf, who was downright one of our favorite people we met in all of India. He always looked after us, gave us great advice and made us feel so incredibly welcome and at home in the hotel, I would not think twice about staying here again if I were to come back to Srinigar. Highly recommended!

All rooms are specious and well furnished.Just 150 meter distance from Dal Lake. My first choice in Srinagar Hotel Swiss because there peaceful location actract Me specially. There small greenere Garden is very nice for Tea time or spent time. Staff behavior and service is very good also.

I stayed at this hotel from 31st May to 3rd June 2022. It was a very pleasant stay and the helpful staff made it even more cosy and hassle-free. The owner of the property Mr. Roop is a gracious host and attended to details with timely interventions to foster an atmosphere of trust and home away from home. He has become my son's best friend and we admire him for his simplicity and helpful nature.||||Pros of the property: Rooms are clean with basic aminities in place. Located right at the foot of a hill hence you can enjoy the sound of birds and serenity inspite of living amidst the bustling city. A small garden and lawn in front of the property gives you a decent place to chill with your family. They provide tea/coffe in the room as per requirement and even pack breakfast in the morning if ordered in advance.||||Cons: None as such. ||||The only thing that you should note is that it is located at a 3 to 4 minute walk away from Dal lake gate 15, hence no lake views available from any rooms. This did not bother us as we used to go sightseeing throughout the day, spent time at the Dal Lake in the evening and then returned to the hotel for rest like any other tourist. ||||Overall a great place to stay , friendly staff, gracious host and insightful guidance to make beautiful memories in Srinagar.
