Swissôtel Büyük Efes İzmir

My stay at Swissôtel Izmir was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff impressed me with their professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality. Every interaction, from reception to housekeeping and the restaurant team, reflected a sincere dedication to guest comfort and satisfaction. The hotel’s facilities are world-class — elegant rooms, an excellent spa and wellness center, and a beautiful garden area that offers a peaceful escape in the heart of the city. The breakfast buffet was rich and well presented, and the pool and gym areas were spotless and well maintained. I highly recommend Swissôtel Izmir for both business and leisure travelers who value top-quality service and a welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely return.

We stayed 2 nights during a visit to Ephesus. The hotel is quite ultramodern and sterile like most Swissotels. The room was similar but comfortable once we got used to the non-user-friendly control switches and air conditioning. It had a small step-out balcony and sliding door. You MUST close the door tightly to get the air conditioning to go on - only figured this out belatedly. The staff however made up for the ambiance- very helpful and friendly and most spoke pretty good English. The breakfasts were AMAZING and again, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s right on the harbor with beautiful day and night views. Highly recommended.

Stayed at SwissOtel Buyek in Izmir last minute as our original hotel was atrocious. Caglo (pronounced Chaala in English) was AMAZINGLY helpful and sincere. Assisted us in getting an amazing room that is 5-Star in US at a great rate. She also cared about us and checked in on us everyday. This hotel and its staff are genuine top notch. Rooms are modern, staff is caring and the food is amazing. We thank her and the staff for making our stay in Izmir amazing.

This is quite an elegant hotel. The room is spacious especially since we have a suite with a separate living room which overlooks a huge outdoor pool. One minor nit was that the jets in the tub did not work. Also the duvet was too warm for the room temperature which cannot be lowered past 19 degrees.

What a great experience in izmir Swiss Hotel!! I d recommend everyone to stay there. Fantastic staff members. Everybody was smiling and trying to help you at all times. What made my stay the great was the people who work there from cleaning ladies to receptionists!!

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years for both business and leisure, but our latest stay was nothing short of a disaster.|We arrived on a rainy day, and there was neither a welcome nor any bellboy assistance. We had to find our own room and carry our luggage ourselves — unacceptable for a hotel of this level.||At breakfast, the waiters repeatedly said “last 5 minutes” and refused to take any new orders. In the room, the shower gel was empty and there were no coffee capsules. Later at night, when we wanted to have coffee, there wasn’t a single open space in the hotel. We were told to “have it in the room.” The Turkish coffee we ordered came in a tiny espresso cup, at a ridiculous price.||We reported all of these issues in detail at check-out. Guest Relations called us afterwards, and we spoke for half an hour. They promised to get back to us immediately, but it’s been 10 days and we’ve heard nothing. When we called them ourselves, the only thing they offered was to cover the cost of the coffee.||This used to be one of our preferred hotels, but now it’s below average due to poor management and lack of care. Service quality has hit rock bottom, and their understanding of customer satisfaction has completely disappeared. What a shame. With so many better options available, we will not be returning.

The hotel is immaculate and absolutely beautiful. It deserves the Michelin rating. I travel the world for work and have stayed at many hotels, this one definitely stood out. It has a rooftop restaurant/ bar /patio, which was a perfect way to end the night. The front desk check-in experience was interesting… the English wasn’t the best. The concierge was extremely helpful and friendly. The bag men were wonderful and took care of everything. The wait staff at breakfast were amazing, especially Arda. He’s young and did such a great job serving us our never ending coffee.

From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive support throughout my visit, they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. It’s rare to find such a dedicated team working seamlessly under such excellent leadership. Highly recommended!
