Swissôtel Kursaal Berne

We had an amazing stay at the hotel! We are a family of six and booked two rooms. Everything was absolutely perfect — from the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The view from the hotel was breathtaking and made our experience even more special. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. We will definitely come back on our next trip! What a great hotel with the best staff! The location is amazing, the rooms are big, they have a mini fridge in the room and an amazing rooftop bar. The air condition could be better, but they brought us a fan that helped a bunch. They have 2-3 bars, restaurants and are a quick walk to the city center. There is construction on the tram stop in front, but we walked a block and caught the bus to the train station. |We thought we booked 3 nights and got back from a day of sight seeing and they told us we only booked 2 nights. They were amazing and rebooked us for another night in the same rooms. They never missed a beat and smiled the whole time. Staff make this hotel!!! |We would definitely stay here again if we ever travel to Bern again! Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

As soon as we entered the hotel a friendly staff met us. They were very helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The location was perfect. Overall we were very pleased and I highly recommend this hotel. If we visit Bern again in the future we will stay there again.

There is something truly special about this place! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to recommend something 🌸🙏🏻 The rooms are spotless and well-kept. It’s also the only hotel in the past three months that has provided three towels per person, plus an extra one just for the feet after a shower. Most importantly, the room temperature upon arrival is perfect. Whoever came up with the idea to switch on the AC in advance (or even during check-in) is nothing short of a genius ❤️ The only downside: due to the placement of the AC system, the parking area gets extremely hot and almost unbearable.

We were there for one city while visiting the city. We could walk into the old city so that was nice. Tram to hotel was convenient and only two stops from the main train station. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel due to the cost.

Perfect place for business and private stays. Very well located - accessible via tram. Even during construction time (bridge), things work smoothly.

The hotel is in a great location with spacious rooms offering scenic views. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although one of the towels provided was unfortunately dirty. My only disappointment was at check-out, where I was incorrectly charged for tea we did not order. When I raised this, the response was simply “okay” with no apology or acknowledgment of the error. I felt this was unprofessional — a simple apology would have gone a long way in maintaining a positive impression.

Smart hotel close to the old town with car parking avalable. Nice external seating area. Overall a quality establishment.|But.|Rooms either face towards the old town or face on to an internal atrium. Our room was one meter or so from the lift within the atrium. The lift has 4 glass walls - the glazing is tinted but the lift was VERY close to the window which felt very uncomfortable indeed. Suggest you see what room they put you in before accepting. |We would look around before staying here again.
