Swissôtel Kursaal Berne

As soon as we entered the hotel a friendly staff met us. They were very helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The location was perfect. Overall we were very pleased and I highly recommend this hotel. If we visit Bern again in the future we will stay there again.

What a great hotel with the best staff! The location is amazing, the rooms are big, they have a mini fridge in the room and an amazing rooftop bar. The air condition could be better, but they brought us a fan that helped a bunch. They have 2-3 bars, restaurants and are a quick walk to the city center. There is construction on the tram stop in front, but we walked a block and caught the bus to the train station. |We thought we booked 3 nights and got back from a day of sight seeing and they told us we only booked 2 nights. They were amazing and rebooked us for another night in the same rooms. They never missed a beat and smiled the whole time. Staff make this hotel!!! |We would definitely stay here again if we ever travel to Bern again! Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

Stayed two nights July 1 and 2. Nice room with view of the water feature was nice. Very helpful and welcoming staff and front desk. Modern and clean. Great location adjacent to bridge over the river.

The hotel is in a great location with spacious rooms offering scenic views. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although one of the towels provided was unfortunately dirty. My only disappointment was at check-out, where I was incorrectly charged for tea we did not order. When I raised this, the response was simply “okay” with no apology or acknowledgment of the error. I felt this was unprofessional — a simple apology would have gone a long way in maintaining a positive impression.

The hotel is clean and welcoming. It is, however, a little too clean, with many huge empty rooms and hallways giving a kind of uneasy feeling. The outdoor seating and the rooftop grill are super cool!

Our experience has been delightful from the moment we entered the Hotel and when we check-out. We had booked 2 Premium rooms for 4 adults which had a balcony with it.||The hotel is next to the bridge which has vital importance of being connectivity to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old City Bern.||Though we never tried Accor Properties however our impress has been changed greatly times by this property.||The brekafast spread was great and sumptuous. We had dinner at the Restaurant which has pond and fishes in it.||The Evening Staff on the intervening night of 19th to 20 June were very professional and courteous in their way of handling the matters. And my apologizes for forgetting their names. The staff is very well selected and apt for the property.||The Casino on the 5th Floor makes an edge for the property.

A beautifully designed hotel, inside and out, that embraces you with comfort & relaxation. Our reception staff were as friendly as they were professional. We loved relaxing next to the koi pond (beautiful!). Breakfast was great. This was by far the best stay of our month-long tour of Switzerland, Austria, Germany & France!

Severely disappointed in this hotel. Entered our room and were shocked by the amount of filth in the room - dust on the walls, crumbs on the bed and on the floor, pieces of hair on the furniture, grimy floors that haven't been cleaned in what looked like years, and just a general sense of uncleanliness. The pictures don't even do justice to how gross the room was. The room layout also doesn't match what was seen in pictures online. Upon checkout no one even asked how our stay was. After following up with the company about our concerns, we received a very snarky response from the general manager of the hotel basically blaming us for not bringing up the cleanliness issue with them on the spot and lying about the accuracy of the room layout (which is definitely not true). Just an overall bad experience that I would definitely not recommend to anyone else.
