My sister and I had a wonderful experience here. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. What I found unique was hotel staff standing by the elevator in the lobby. It was great not to have to look for help or wait in line to ask where to get coffee or what restaurants were open.||We had excellent Cosmos and at the lobby bar with very good apps.||I would definitely stay here again and look for this hotel in other cities.

We stayed here for 6 nights on vacation. Noticed that many other hotel guests were there in groups for business/conference related stays. However, the staff were super helpful for all our requests with a special mention for Ricardo in the lobby. The room was comfortable and clean as were the public areas. We were allowed to leave our suitcases in the hotel for several days even after checking out. There are a number of stores in an arcade on the ground floor, especially useful was the pharmacy. We strongly recommend this hotel

Very inflexible and money conscious tide operation for being 5 star hotel. When we checked in the agent offered king size instead of 2 doubles and charged extra person for the roll a bed. Every time we asked for something first thing comes out of the agents mouth it will cost you. Pillows were awful for a 5 star hotel.|Some of the staff were very good. Sports cafe and Japanese restaurant was good. It is clean and pleasant hotel

Rooms are outdated with heater not working/ hot water in shower is just warm|And windows are not sound proof. If ur room faces street u will definitely hear every motor bike passing by. Customer service at front desk is awful. They will not do free upgrade for anything. They are very much in business of extracting more money from you! Overall pathetic experience for “5 star “ hotel.

It’s sham calling itself a star hotel. Rooms are dated with no hot water ( just warm Water) in shower, the heater in some rooms doesn’t work in heating up room. Service is awful. they charge for everything. There are much nicer hotels right across the street. just overall pathetic for a 5star hotel Experience!

This is a great hotel with friendly staff and good food, but the rooms are a little lackluster. Check in was simple, especially given we arrived at the hotel a little past 1am. The location is good, but getting to the hotel is a challenge given that you need to go on several roads which are crowded most of the time. Other than that, the hotel is close to many restaurants and if you don’t want to walk, has a good Japanese restaurants. In terms of the room, the beds are hard as sleeping on a block of wood, to the point where we asked for mattress toppers. The AC also didn’t work at all in one of the rooms and worked poorly in the other which is an issue because you need to ask for anything other than a comforter. Overall, it’s a good hotel, but the rooms leave something to be desired, especially considering how important sleep is if you plan to hike Cotopaxi or do other similar activities.

Jean gave wonderful service at breakfast. Carolina and Ricardo were fabulous at the bar. The potato soup was amazing. Everyone at the front desk and door were terrific. Taxi drivers Luis and Pablo were wonderful.

My stay at the Swissotel in Quito was remarkable. It was customer service from the heart, not just going through the motions. The staff was attentive and made a genuine effort to accommodate my needs, from the smooth check-in and check-out process to assisting with document copies and maintaining a clean room. Additionally, the food offered was delicious, enhancing my overall experience.
