SwissTech Hotel

We went to Lausanne to watch the Swiss Swimming Championships. The hotel is located right at the EPFL tram station which makes it easy to get around without a car. The hotel is located at the Swiss Tech campus where you'll find two nice restaurants and two supermarkets as well. ||The rooms at Swiss Tech are clean and not too small so that the hotel is good base for exploring Lausanne and surrounding areas. The staff is friendly and supportive if you have any questions or concerns. There were no issues during our stay and we would consider the Swiss Tech again when visiting Lausanne next time.

The hotel is very easy to access since it is just next to the metro station. The sound isolation was done well that the noise of the metro does not make any disturbance for me with windows closed, albeit could been heard. Also, the EPFL campus can be reached on foot in just a few minute. My room was very clean and tidy, the reception is overwhelmingly friendly. The breakfast is okay, but offered a quite limited selection of food.

The place offers the very basics. The most unfortunate thing was that there was not a small firge in the room and during the hot day it was very much needed. Also the fan in the room is not enough to cool you down it's just make noise. I understand that it's for sustainability but there are also different alternatives. I don't believe I will use the hotel next time.

Really nice experience, the metro station is right in front, it doesn't get better than that. Very close to EPFL, it would be nice to have a wider range of restaurants in the area but Lausanne is close by fortunately.

Great environment and hospitable people! I especially loved how peaceful and quiet everything was. The location is perfect for both work and relaxation. I would definitely recommend staying here again!

We did enjoyed our stay at the Swiss Tech hotel. We came to Lausanne because my son is interested to study next year at the EPFL and as the association of Luxembourgish students were organizing a introduction day to EPFL / UNIL we decided to come. Very good hotel, clean, breakfast correct, and people overthere very kind.

I was there once, they are very unflexibel and do not provide receipts before arrival even when the stay has been paid in advance. Makes no sense at all, especially as I have communicated that I will not come due to a collision of appointments.

Rooms are clean and have everything needed for a business trip. The location by the tram is perfect if visiting the university.
