Stayed in this wonderful hotel for 8 days. It’s excellent. Very convenient for a walk into the city and also well placed to get out driving and explore the island. Really spacious room , including a kitchen, table and chairs, sofa, washing machine and dryer which meant you could be self sufficient if you wanted to. Breakfast was included and was delicious and plentiful. Can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Cannot say enough positive about this fantastic hotel. We had been on a Confederation Trail bike trip. All four in our group were exhausted and looking to be pampered our last night. We were lucky enough to be able to reserve a superior apartment at the Sydney the last day of our vacation. The apartment was huge, extremely nice and well decorated. Staff was very welcoming. Breakfast top notch. Would recommend to everyone.

We stayed here for a couple nights as it is very walkable into town and down to the harbour. Also love staying in locations that have some history to them, and this definitely has that. They have done a great job in the conversion to an Inn/suites hotel. Our king suite was spacious and very well decorated, with impressive high ceilings. The bed was a little hard to my liking, but the spouse prefers it like that. The pillows were a little too firm for me also. Breakfast in the basement had ample choices to pick from and what we had was good. We ended up with someone else's laundry bags in our room when we returned from town the one night, so I just blamed it on the Sisters still doing some of their chores 😏 ||Great location for being able to easily get around without the vehicle.

Great hotel in a historic building in a quiet neighborhood. This centrally located hotel offered the best in accommodations. The room was lovely, quiet with nicely appointed linens. Great bed, pillows and bathrobe. The shower was fantastic. We reserved a suite overlooking a city park. Complimentary bottles of water, coffee and tea. The complimentary breakfasts included made to order omelets as well as a wide range of healthy choices. The staff did an amazing job of replenishing the food items. The complimentary on-site parking was greatly appreciated. The hotel is within walking distance to the waterfront, Founder's Food Hall & Market, restaurants and the historic walk of Charlottetown. This hotel was the BEST in the Canadian Maritime Provinces during our 3 week vacation.

We enjoyed a very nice suite of two bedrooms. It was very well equipped with lovely furniture and high ceilings. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of some of the best restaurants in Charlottetown.||Our one reservation was for breakfast service. it is in a small room in the basement with absolutely no charm. It did have a full compliment of Eggs and other items, but it wasn’t a good quality. More fitting for this hotel would be another one where are we a coffee service and allow the guest to go out for a breakfast.

The Executive Queen Suite was fantastic and so spacious. We enjoyed the comfortable furnishings, complimentary massage chair on our floor’s lobby, and the extensive offerings for breakfast. Well appointed suite. Food as well as the service staff were fantastic. The washroom was ample for counter space and there was more than enough room in the shower. Shower pressure was great. The toiletries provided were welcomed. The location was only a few blocks from downtown. So convenient. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone visiting Charlottetown.

We had an airy suite that was perfect for four people. There was a queen bed in one room next to a bathroom and a king bed in another room with an ensuite bathroom. Our suite also had a kitchen, kitchen island, dining table, and living room. We enjoyed the high ceilings. All in all, an enjoyable stay for a friends' getaway.||Location-wise, the establishment is an easy ealk to the city's centre or the water. Nice bonus: the modest breakfast and parking fee were included with our room.

We have stayed here a number of times and it is a beautiful and classy spot. The rooms are all unique for the most part in layout and design but each one is charming and cozy and very spacious. Love the bathrooms and the amazing showers in each room. Everything is kept very clean and the atmosphere in the hotel is amazing

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise to find such a beautiful hotel in downtown Charlottetown! We were looking for a unique experience and found it with this beautifully renovated convent and school! The exterior looks nothing special but walking in was breathtaking. The staff were exceptionally friendly, the lobby and hallways were all beautifully decorated, the rooms were all clean and much care went into keeping the guests socially distanced and safe. Our room was cozy and beautiful. Everything clean and well maintained. The included breakfast was amazing with quite a delicious variety to choose from. Fresh eggs and sausage, breakfast potatoes and zucchini frittata. Would definitely return on my next visit to Charlottetown. Definitely a highlight of our visit.

Yelp
We were not expecting such a beautiful luxurious boutique hotel here in PEI. Sydney Boutique Inn, is perhaps one of the most beautiful and cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at in Canadá. It's so clean and pretty. The location is great and it's close walking distance to all the restaurants and little shops. The bed and the pillows are so comfortable which made us fall asleep easily. The decorations and the atmosphere is magnificent. The blackout curtains are perfect and pretty. The front desk manager, Kent was so pleasant. He made sure we had all we wanted in our pretty little room. We highly recommend this hotel

Yelp
At first sight, you think you're staying at an old office building because the exterior doesn't look like a five star hotel. However, the second you step in, you definitely feel the luxury with an old-fashioned feel to it. Decor: I can't say enough about how classically beautiful this hotel is. The hallways are lined with wainscoting and sparkly chandeliers. Coco Chanel would definitely approve of those alone. The king room was spacious with a great sitting area. Everything match down to the bedding to the curtains. A chandelier above the bed made me feel like a princess. Service: I wish I remembered the gentleman that helped us the most during our stay. He was so nice and helpful. He gave us suggestions on where to eat and directions on where to go. He held our luggage for us and just had a great overall disposition. Location: Restaurants, shopping, and the pier are all within walking distance. The area is safe and quaint. Cons: My only complaints are that (1) they used traditional keys to access the rooms, (2) the not-so-responsive cable box and (3) the location of the TV. Keys are very inconvenient when you have bags of groceries or souvenirs. The cable box or remote didn't work very well from far distances. I literally had to be 6 inches from the box for the remote to work. There was no problem with the remote working with the TV though. The position of the TV was not very helpful if you wanted to watch TV in bed. It was fine for the seating area though. Overall, you will feel like royalty stay here. There is so much character and elegance that you wish you could live there.

Yelp
Fabulous stay in every way - great property, personal but unobtrusive service. Rooms were an uncommon combination of luxurious and functional. Cannot recommend highly enough if looking for a luxury hotel in Charlottetown.

Yelp
3.5 stars. Beautiful hotel, newly renovated I believe. It used to a convent so the outside is really beautiful. The decor was nice, but everything was a tiny bit off. My family and I stayed in a two bedroom, and I was in the smaller bedroom. The bed took up most of the room and the closet was absolutely tiny. Luckily, I didn't need to use it since I was staying only three days, but the closet seemed disproportionately small and the bed disproportionately huge. My parent's room didn't have a towel rack installed at first, but someone installed it after our first night. There was leftover food on the floor from the occupants before, that house cleaning missed. Additionally, the keurig pods were not replaced until we inquired with the front desk. The staff were extremely helpful though! Overall, it's in a great location, it's not quite in downtown but close enough that it's a ~10/15 min walk. Quiet streets but beautiful neighbourhood. There's also a free breakfast in the basement, which was fine, classic scrambled eggs, fruit, and pastries.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in a great location. The front reception staff are wonderful and very knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms are beautifully designed and decorated and, the beds are so comfortable.

Yelp
I return every summer to visit family and opted to treat us to private quarters :). This place is a gem in the heart of downtown. Breakfast is plentiful and lots of option. Grounds are very beautiful as well. Room was exactly like it was depicted in the pictures. Bed- super comfy but the pillows... even better. I wish they would sell them. Hint hint! The wine glasses, real creamers etc are a nice touch in the room. If you are looking for lobby action, this isn't the place. However I would recommend to them that they do a happy hour social in the garden or in the lobby. Just some light snacks and wine or beer for the guests later afternoon. It could encourage saying hello! To someone new and it's a guest appreciation thing. For the price point, I think they should do something like that.

Yelp
A beautiful hotel, lovely rooms, very quiet. As others have said, the bed is so comfortable! The breakfast in the morning is massive and tasty. Really ne of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in.

Yelp
Fantastic 2 week stay! Wonderful amenities. Beautiful suite with a full kitchen and laundry facilities in the room. Fantastic service and great staff. Couldn't have asked for a better stay in PEI.

Yelp
What a find. Lots of history in this exquisitely restored former school and convent. Architecturally interesting and beautifully decorated and appointed. Bedding, towels, robes, toiletries were all first class as was the included breakfast. Great location with easy parking and check in.

Yelp
Phenomenal rooms and customer service. We even left our passports in the safe, and an employee brought them to our next hotel in Halifax.

Yelp
Beautiful boutique hotel in historic section of Charlottetown. Decor is impeccable, and service first rate. We had a deluxe queen suite which had full living area. It is not budget priced, but certainly value for the money. Ask to stay in the older section. The rooms are quite large, with beautiful inset dormer windows. There is no bellman service, but parking is adjacent to the hotel, and an easy schlep for your bags. Ample restaurants within a five minute walk, and breakfast is included with the room rate.

Yelp
Absolutely AMAZING hotel. Not only was it Beautiful, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Got the best tips on fabulous restaurants and where to go on the island. I can't recommend this Inn enough, it made our vacation.
