Sydney Boutique Inn & Suites

The Sydney Boutique is a hidden gem within Charlottetown. We traveled in February so this may have factored into our experience. We stayed in the Queen Executive Suite and we were very impressed with the size and design of our room. The daily breakfast was possibly the best we've had in recent years. Lots of variety to satisfy most people. We will most likely book our next stay here the next time we visit!

Such a charming inn in a perfect location. We visited towards the end of September - avoiding the busy summer season. We chose the Parkland Suite which was spacious and modern. The bathroom was small. We enjoyed sitting in our little alcove overlooking the courtyard sipping on coffee wine. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed walking everywhere in Charlottetown. Definitely one of our favourite locations.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING HOTEL AND ROOMS!!! The staff was lovely and helpful, the rooms were huge, well appointed, with comfortable beds and an amazing rainfall shower. The breakfast was delicious and made fresh every morning AND as you were eating. 10/10 would recommend and plan to stay again!!!

Beautiful and unique hotel! The rooms are clean and spacious. The history of the building and the original architecture adds to its charm. Also great location and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The only downside was the breakfast in the basement. The food was not the best and I noticed items that should have been refrigerated were sitting out for some time. That said, there are plenty of places to eat nearby and a cute coffee shop down the road. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

The Sydney Hotel offers exceptional value for its price point, delivering a perfect balance of quality and cost. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making the stay even more enjoyable. The classic decor creates a charming and inviting atmosphere, complemented by a well-maintained, comfortable space. Out of my experience it wouldn't be possible to not give 5 stars.

This hotel was incredible - my partner and I stayed here for a couple of days as we were visiting from Ontario, moving my parents into their new place in Prince Edward Island. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything was great, including letting my parents stay in the parking lot in their RV just because they had nowhere to stay and said they were more than welcome to use the amenities in our room. The breakfast was amazing and had lots of different things for us to eat and food suitable for everyone who stays here, including sausages, bacon, eggs, pastries, bread, cereal, apple juice, orange juice, Yoghurts, and coffee and tea .The rooms were magnificent and had large ceilings with every little detail thought of we asked housekeeping for extra towels, and they were delivered straight away literally felt like I was staying in luxury but for the fraction of the price you would pay in a larger city. This was definitely the best place we Have ever stayed and we would love to come back and visit again soon.

We booked this hotel because the room description on the website stated it was equipped with a kitchenette, which was essential for our road trip. Upon arrival, we discovered that the room only had a fridge and coffee machine, which the hotel defined as a kitchenette. That is what their first response was. After raising the issue with the staff, they offered to move us to a room with a proper kitchenette for two of our three nights, but only if we paid the difference. We filed a complaint with Booking.com since the room did not match the description provided at booking. Eventually, the hotel moved us to a room with a kitchenette for two nights but required us to move back to the original type of room for the third night. Alternate solution given was to cancel our reservation. Definitely it spoiled our holiday mood. Additionally, we experienced poor service during our stay: no housekeeping, no coffee supplies, and no drinking water on the second day. The male receptionist was rude and dismissive, further souring our experience. This stay did not meet our expectations, and the hotel’s handling of the situation was disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel unless they address their misleading room descriptions and improve their customer service. Not even a three star hotel. Overpriced.

This place is incredible. It's probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. It's in a great location, within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and stores. The ocean is down the street, and it has some decent views. The rooms are spectacular. Everything has character. The beds are super comfortable, with quality sheets and blankets that kept me at the right temperature. You know how most hotels have blankets that are too light? Not this place! Both bathrooms worked perfectly. Great water pressure in the showers, I didn't run out of hot water, and the drains didn't back up. Toilets flushed fine as well. The only small issue with the bathroom experience is that the body soap provided isn't anywhere near enough. I ran out quickly, and had to use the "hand" bar soap. Internet works great! Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. I will 100% stay here again on my next visit.
