"Definitely one of Sydney’s best kept secrets, Foys Kirribilli revives Australia's oldest open boat sailing club with its modern Australian restaurant, and adjoining café ‘The Flying Bear’. Head down for some afternoon drinks and live music while the sun goes down, taking in awesome harbour views from the rustic deck." - Born & Raised

Overpriced and underwhelming food. The burger was cold, ravioli was undercooked and the schnitzel was dry. Even the calamari wasn’t too fresh. The service quality wasn’t great either. Offers good views though.

Cozy club with plenty of charm and a great view. Situated on the waters edge the club has fresh modern nautical vibe. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Order at the bar or at your table with QR. Pick a table out on the deck if it’s nice day or nice and warm sunny one inside. The menu has plenty to choose from. We were there for a work function with lots of dietary requirements and everyone found something. Good range of tap beers too. Great for a function or just a quiet table for 2.

A beautiful yacht club that is open to the public. It’s in a magnificent location and has stunning and serene views of the boats and the harbour. The food is always great and great service. Also it’s next door to the Ensemble Theatre - could be a great place for a pre theatre drink or meal and it’s also right by the Milson Park - a pet friendly park where dogs can run around without a leash. A bit of a hidden gem and highly recommend.

I have been going to this beautiful little place for years. But after tonight I will never go there again. The food is overpriced, for what it is.The manager does not know how to manage. It has really gone downhill from the last 8 months.Find yourself another venue on the water,as you will regret going to the flying Squadron club. This Friday afternoon they had a function , that was blocked off for the the patrons down stairs on the deck .And we were not allowed to use the toilets upstairs. As there is no toilet downstairs.Be prepared for a lousy experience.

Ate at the restaurant, and it was pretty ordinary. The service was very slow. The bar, which was also taking the food orders only had one person and people were queued up. The menu stated that many of the dishes were ‘not available after 5pm’, yet after ordering our meals discovered many other people were being served those dishes. The grilled lamb was overcooked and served with a pile of undressed leaves and some other tasteless gloop. There was no salt or pepper available. One star for location.

Great food, ambience, drinks on the terrace....one of Sydney's hidden gems. The Flying Bear Cafe underneath is right over the water with fabulous views...gteat for brunch/ lunch...or just coffee.

Super chilled location overlooking the harbour. A great place to enjoy a leisurely lunch; the food is unfussy but tasty, there is a small selection of decent cocktails and the same applies to craft beer. The wait staff are friendly and efficient and the prices reasonable. What's not to like?

Such a great place to catch up with friends. We were served by the kindest, patient, helpful Vanessa with a lovely smile, who made our lunch extra special 🙏🏻🌹
