** STANDARD ROOM**
The room itself was decent, but it lacked natural light.
I stayed at this hotel for five nights, and on three of those nights, the fire alarm went off. While I understand that false alarms can happen occasionally, experiencing this on three out of five nights suggests a clear issue with the alarm system.
**SERVICE**
I booked my room through Agoda, but the room I received was different from what was shown in the listing. This appears to have been an issue on Agoda’s end, as the photos displayed did not accurately reflect the actual room.
The main reason I chose this hotel was the inclusion of a kitchen, which the standard room did not have. After clarifying the situation with both Agoda and the front desk, I was told I could upgrade to a room with a kitchen by paying the price difference. However, this conversation took place just before reception closed, and I was advised to follow up the next morning.
When I returned to reception the following day, I spoke with a different staff member who informed me that an upgrade was not possible due to the hotel being fully booked. However, this turned out to be untrue—I checked availability on the hotel’s own website and several booking platforms, and not only were rooms available, but rooms of higher categories were listed as well.
I guess the receptionist couldn't be bothered with the admin work despite my willingness to pay the difference in price.
