A new immersive Van Gogh exhibition is bound for Sydney next month - SilverKris

"An immersive, multi-sensory exhibition presenting roughly 3,000 large-scale projections of the Dutch painter’s works, brought to life with coordinated light, colour, sound and even fragrance. Visitors can wander through cavernous hallways and gallery-style spaces as the images animate around them; the season at this venue begins on 18 September for a limited run. The presentation has toured more than 50 cities and attracted over six million visitors worldwide, and at this location it will operate as a registered COVID-safe event with controlled capacities (exceeding recommended space-per-person), social-distancing measures and zero-touch interactions—features praised as especially suitable in the current pandemic climate." - SilverKris

I went to see Monet and friends with my last night, it was amazing. If you choose Monday to Thursday, it will be $10 cheaper I think. Frankly speaking, I am not a huge fan of Impressionists, I just love doing illustrations.I found their artwork very delightful and they always make me feel inspired. I read 1/3 of a book writing about impressionists before I came to the SHOW and it really helps, since I got a chance to know their stories. Monet and his friends will never know their master pieces will be exhibited like this way. To view the authentic work may be breathtaking, but I have to say I love the digital screens that can focus on the details of the artworks. The sound, the light, the color and the words from the artists showing on the screen, they make me feel a good way of overwhelming. I am immersed myself into their world. From all the masterpieces, I love the Water lilies and Monet painted a lot of them. I feel freedom and creativity in them. By the way, they have a little cafe and a gift shop. It really worth the money to get a closer look of those impressionists. I even feel I would like to watch the SHOW again! And from the website it shows the last day of exhibition is 9th of May.

The Van Gough Alive exhibition was interesting and worthwhile if you like his paintings. The surround projections and music together with key information about his life was a great experience. However it was difficult to find the right spot to view it and not have people blocking your view or you blocking theirs. The experience lasts about 45 minutes.

Been there two times now.. once for the Van Gogh & second for the Monet & Friends... Both experiences have been wonderful... easy to find, lovely & spacious. Close to the trams, so very easy to catch the light rail & walk there. Great amenities and facilities in the entertainment quarter... food & drinks, all right there where The Royal Hall of Industries is. Great little area... for a day out & then easy again to get home. The Royal Hall of Industries has toliets, is wheel chair friendly & the staff on the days I went were wonderful, friendly & helpful.

I have been to many events at The Royal Hall of Industries since I was a little girl back in the 1970’s when my parents would take me to the yearly Sydney Royal Easter Show. It has stood the test of time and is a very versatile building with parking and restaurants close by in the Entertainment Quarter. The latest exhibition in the space is Van Gogh Alive Sydney 2020. A must see experience celebrating Van Gogh’s life.

This state-of-the-art facility serves as the training base for both the men's and women's teams and the QBE Sydney Swans Academy. It also features a range of amenities, including an indoor training field, gym, medical facilities, and office spaces. The venue is open to community use and hosts several organizations, such as the GO Foundation and the Clontarf Foundation. I was recently there at the Raine&Horne Thrive25 event.
