Gorgeous restaurant and lovely, busy atmosphere on a Friday night. Crazy tasty vegetarian food prepared well - we ordered a lot but the stand outs were the chicory salad with hazelnuts and orange dressing, and also the smoked tomatoes and yoghurt. Great wine selection. Came with my boyfriend, will definitely be back soon. Thank you Charlie for looking after us. :)

Fantastic decor, lovely staff but the star of the show was the excellent food.
Had the braised peas, roasted tomatoes and goats cheese. All tremendous paired with a lovely bottle of wine. The bread too just topped an absolutely fantastic evening.
Thanks Sylvan and sorry my picture doesn’t do the food justice!!

This is one of the most gorgeous, atmospheric restaurants in Glasgow. The service was super friendly, and the food was exceptional. Highly recommend - the smoked tomatoes in yogurt are one of the nicest dishes I’ve ever eaten in my life.
Great to see fully vegetarian food cooked and presented in this way - you immediately forget you’re even in a vegetarian restaurant.
Huge wine list too - loved the orange wine.

Best atmosphere for a vegan meal in Glasgow hands down. Been here twice and both times had incredibly friendly service which made the experience, and the food is really delicious and creative. Love the decor too - feel transported to Alsace!

Wow! The vibe was perfect, busy but nice and spacious so it didn't feel overly loud and crowded. The drink selection was top notch and the food was outstanding, the smoked tomatoes was the best I've eaten in Glasgow in a long long time! All topped off by exquisite staff service who provided great recommendations and advice and showcased their knowledge of the extensive wine list whilst being kind, friendly and attentive. This place is an absolute gem.

the price point in here for the food that is served is outrageous. £13 for a plate of peas with a single fried egg on top.
service started off ok but the person service clearly couldn‘t be bothered tending to our table. routinely ignored simple requests. when we asked for the bill we waited s further twenty mind before having to ask again - the restaurant wasnt that busy.
There are far better options close by, I would not recommend Sylvan.

Amazing dinner. Was a bit pessimistic going to a vegetarian restaurant but the flavours of the dishes were just unreal. Would highly recommend
