Been coming here for the last 10 years with my family and have always had pleasant experiences. The coffee is the arguably the best in New York and I highly recommend getting the chocolate covered s’more. The hamptons wouldn’t be the hamptons without Sylvester’s.

This store is the most important store in sag harbor because it has Dreamy Coffee on tap in the back. I’m not even going to tell you what Dreamy is because you should experience it as a surprise. Speaking of surprises - this is a great store for specials gifts.

Love the coffee bar! The candle selection is probably my favorite, I always find wonderful smelling candles. As well as they host great events such as book signings!!! A must stop when in Sag Harbor!

The Google User review from six years ago is outdated and wildly unfair. In my experience, over the past 15 years, the staff people at Sylvester & Company have been unfailingly friendly and helpful in spite of the relentless pressure put on them by impatient summer people and one-percenter entitlement freaks. This store is always cool.

I was told by the salesperson that I could return a $285 entry rug I was thinking about. With that I mind I bought the rug to see how it would look in my house. She never said all I could get is a store credit. I might have reconsidered my purchased. When I went to return it I was told by the owner that I could only get a store credit! I was told that their policy was written on their receipt. Ok, but the receipt is produce AFTER you purchase the rug and who looks that closely at their receipt! They should have their return policy more visible and have their salesperson tell the complete return policy! Unfortunately, now I have to buy something I may not be totally in love with, just to use up the store credit!

This is a unique store where everything is very well curated and though some items are expensive, there are some that are quite reasonable by local standards. It is also notable for its dog friendly vibe and great coconut coffee, which off season is priced at $1.00!! There's a bi of everything--clothes, hats, floor mats, books, accessories, housewares, and small home furnishings and decorations. It's a very good place to buy a house gift or treat yourself to something tasteful and unusual.

Used to love this store until I saw their new sign, which indicates strollers are not welcomed and refers to babies as unwanted chaos. As a new mom I've find this very offensive and will look to take my business elsewhere.

Modern hipster storefront and dreamy coffee stop in the back. Little known gem in the Hamptons that has freshly baked cookies and dessert items and cold brew coffee on tap. The dreamy coffee has a smooth chocolatey taste and the coconut has hints of coconut. $3.75 for a cup of a drink of your choice. Decaf, original, coconut, dreamy and a daily tea selection. They also sell coffee beans, Keurig cups as well as a refrigerated concentrate of their coffees. Skip Starbucks and try the coffee here. You'll be hooked in no time.

This is such a cute little store, perfect for finding a great hostess gift, as well as tons of delicious chocolates and the world's most perfect coffee. They have a huge display case of any kind of treat chocolate-coated, from oreos to graham crackers, and for the Hamptons, the prices aren't too outrageous. The must buy item here is the Dreamy blend coffee (a little steep at $12 a pound, but whatever it is the BEST COFFEE you will ever have)-it's this crazy combo of I think 2 different kinds of beans and chocolate! The only downside is that the customer service is at times a little less than friendly.

Fan of their coffee...thats all....not sure what all else goes on here. They have a niche...with coffees you wont taste anywhere else. Worth a try.

My favorite go to spot! Perfectly edited with something for everyone. Alway leave happy with the perfect gift or something special for me.

This is a great little coffee spot! I always stop here when I'm at Sag Harbor. The coffee here is fantastic ( my favorite blend is the dreamy), the cookies are all great ( cherry oatmeal, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip). Can't go wrong with a coffee and a little sweet snack here.

There are few greater pleasures in life than Dreamy Coffee and a Double Dare Ya cookie. The home wears, tough expensive, are great and a lot of fun to explore.

Always great coffee in here and even better is great options. Stir brew comes out on tap. Others are flavored and tasty. Treats here are awesome too

The coffee may he "good" but it's in those thermoses so it's all luke-warm. Plus I'm not sure they like customers.

This store is the coolest. It reminds me of the type of stuff I see in Brooklyn, in fact many of their products are those I found in a West Elm in DUMBO. They have a very nice selection of various high end goods, clothes, furniture, etc. Its a total mixed bag of stuff but it is all very nice. Love their little section of men's grooming products. They also have a bar in the back serving great local iced coffee, tea, and baked goods.

One of my favorite stores. Excellent selection of merchandise that's perfect for your home or gifts. Really amazing chocolates, cookies and sweets (try the chocolate peanut butter cookies), but the main reason I go here is for the Dreamy Coffee. I dream about it during the week. Not kidding. I don't actually even count it as coffee. It's like liquid heaven. Staff is incredibly cool and helpful. I just can't say enough good things about this place.

This is one of my favorite stores in the Hamptons. Locally owned by Linda Sylvester, she does a superb job or keeping it "Hamptons Real! "The delicious Dreamy coffee is a must! She now sells it cold in a cool red fridge. Bring it as a gift to a friend they will love you forever, and pair it with some of those yummy cookies she sells in the big old fashioned cookie jars. Theres an array of must have's from home goods to cute packaged foods to doggy must haves as well as clothing. She even sells the coolest reading glasses. SO if you live in the Hamptons or just visiting this is a store I would not miss! If you want to sit and eat your cookies and sip your coffee there is a great counter in the front of the store (good people watching). ENJOY!

One of those stores where you honestly want one of everything. Everyone was super friendly. I did not have the coffee but bought some great bath products from companies I hadn't heard of before. The store has a very cozy feeling.

This store does not stand behind what it sells, nothwithstanding its high price points. The quality of what we bought, for over $6,000, was terribly disappointing and the company has essentially ignored our requests for help.
