Syrah was recommended to is by our B&B owner as a place that excels in serving traditional Sicilian delicacies..we found Syrah nothing short of outstanding -with hearty portions, mouth-watering starters.and varied menu doing the magic. Service is super-quick and courteous. Everyone is very friendly and, even though we don:t speak Italian, the staff at Syrah made every effort to communicate with us in English. They have outdoor as well as indoor seating. Reservation recommend... especially during busy season.

Very nice dinner with friends. We get some different kind of dishes choosed by menù. The food was very tasty and really very nice. The inside garden where we have the dinner is very nice. Professional waiters and very nice table service. 5 stars food

It's the second time I go to Syrah because I love their fish couscous. We also had the fried octopus on mash potato. Delicious! The service was amazing. The waiter Giovanni was very professional, friendly and smiling. I can't wait to go back.

We went here on local recommendation. It's smart and luxurious without being pretentious. The food is amazing. The service is also perfect. It was the last meal of our holiday so we wanted t make it special and it didn't disappoint. Hugely recommended. Grazie a te, Alla prossima.

We've been coming here year, after year and never left disappointed. The service is always amazing, the staff is extremely professional, polite and caring. The space is lovely, modern, with a hint of sophistication, a different offer from the rest of the more traditional competition in San Vito. The food is incredible and this is the main reason why we come back. When I think gourmet I think about small courses, over priced, pretentious, but Syrah serves what gourmet should aim to be: balanced dishes, with great flavours and textures, fresh ingredients, satisfying portions and fair priced. Yes, it's probably one of the most expensive restaurants in the San Vito main street, but it's worth it! The wine list also offers and good variety of local Sicilian and Italian wines, with different flavour and price ranges. We started our meal sharing the "Tortino di Melanzane" (fried aubergine, fresh tomato sauce, salty ricotta cheese), for main course I had the off-menu "Couscous Nero di Seppia i Crustacei" (Couscous in cuttlefish black ink and seafood) and my girlfriend had the "Spaghetti alle Vongole" (pasta and clams). We had a Sicilian white grillo, "La Pura". We were more than happy with the food. If you come, definitely book a table in advance. The in-garden is a lovely place, but we were late to book it. We decided to take a table on the street, which was lovely (the weather helped a lot), just don't be surprised if people stop to stare at your food. Covid-19: the staff all had masks on, menu is available scanning a QR code or you can request a paper menu at your own risk. Everything was spotless and immediately cleaned after someone leaves. This is our favourite place in San Vito for a reason and this is why we always recommend it.

Couldn’t fault the restaurant. We had one dish which was a bit too salty and the staff and chef was very happy to replace it and apologised for that. Other dishes were delicious. Risotto was normal. Excellent service and delicious food.

The food was good but we were disappointed with the service. We felt they were kindda rude and we were ignored several times. We felt being discriminated 😡 maybe because we are not Italians. We asked for the bill like four times! And then nobody came to collect it so I had to go inside myself to pay. Nobody even said sorry!! The restaurant wasn’t even crowded!!!

I'm from California and have experienced food around the globe. San Vito is my family's home town. During my last visit to San Vito I wanted to treat my family there to a nice dinner after they blessed me with many wonderful home cooked meals. I asked if they had recommendations, they mentioned Syrah. Ladies and Gentlemen after eating here I am convinced that this is the best meal I have ever eaten at any restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
