SYTE Hotel Mannheim

Wonderful location by the train station. Close to main city for walking around. Great food nearby. Rooms are nice and large. Bathroom has a full size tub. Seriously nothing to complain about even if I wanted to find something. All around 100%.

I have selected this hotel since in Mannheim to enjoy Time Warp festival, with 19 hours of non stop techno music 🙌. Therefore, did not enjoy much of this nice hotel; just very few hours of sleep having got back at the hotel at 8am in the morning…. 😂. That said room was OK, clean with comfy beds. The staff was kind and efficient. 24hrs reception available. Atmosphere is cosy and modern. Nothing to say more. If back at Time Warp, will be back at this place as well 😂😂

I have mixed feelings about the Syte hotel. Although receiving a free upgrade which was fantastic, there were also a couple of aspects which could definitely be improved. During breakfast the staff was rather impersonal thereby only interested in obtaining the room number from the guests. A bit more customer care / friendliness, for instance by asking ‘How are you today?’ or ‘Did you sleep well?’, would give a better impression. During checkout by another employee there was again no interest in asking how the stay of 4 nights was. The room wasn’t very clean, little pieces of dirt in the sink and hairs on the bed. The breakfast is standard to good, but nothing special (e.g. standard options and many prepackaged products). The bed was on the softer side, but comfortable. There is little to no noise from the city, so it allows for a good rest. The accommodation was decorated very stylish, it makes people feel at home. Right next to the main train station.

The hotel itself was pleasant, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. However, the room I was given had a very disappointing view, and there were noticeable plumbing noises coming from the walls. I can't comment on the food, as I didn't dine at the restaurant during my stay.

A very nice boutique Hotel. The room was quiet and spacious, the bed was very comfortable. There was also a kitchenette. The breakfast was good with a lot of options. Great location, just two minutes to the main station. The lounge area is cozy, perfect for a calm evening. The cocktails menu and selection of spirits are great. Perfect place for a business trip.

Found this place on Yelp. Looked like the perfect spot for a one hour layover between trains at Mannheim. Good call. Amazing drink menu, nice selection of spirits, and super nice despite the fact that I was clearly a weary American traveler. Classy place with a nice vibe at 10 pm on a Saturday night.

The food is quality and visually displayed. Beautifully designed setting. Friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend.

American here: This place has a great burger and fries!! close you hauptbahnhof too! Basil smash drink was very tasty. Might be too much ice for the price but I enjoyed everything I had here. Sweet potato fries are really good here.

I had a great time there! The waiter was really nice and helpful and the wine excellent. The food was typical of good hotels, which for Mannheim is saying a lot. Will definitely go back should I find myself in this town again.
