Szechuan Garden

After calling all over for an open Chinese takeout place, I finally called Szechuan Garden, and ordered my usual Gen. Tso's Chicken, pork fried rice, and egg roll. Delivery took a while, but the food arrived hot and tasty. It was exactly what I was craving, and I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

Terrible spot for lunch special. They argued with me about hair THEY put in my food and had the nerve to tell me I needed to pay for the 4 shrimp (yes he was precise on the amount of shrimp prepared as he stuck his fingers swirling for the shrimp) that came with the meal. If all was refunded, then why am I purchasing $4 worth of shrimp!?

Speaking only for the delivery service despite passing this location for years: Szechuan Garden has great Chinese dishes that aren't overseasoned or overcooked. The stars of the menu are the steamed pork dumplings served with a spicy peppercorn sauce, the fried dumplings and some sort of mustard truffle oil sauce and for something lighter, the steamed chicken and broccoli with brown sauce on the side is perfect. They follow instructions perfectly (sauce on the side), deliver quickly and everything is so fresh. I will definitely pop by to dine in-house with a few friends to sample more.

We are still in a pandemic and restaurants are required to have their cooks wear masks as they are cooking and attending to food. That was not the case when I went in there, while they did have a protective plastic at the cashier area and the person ringing in the food had his mask on, all 3 cooks in the back did not have a mask on at all and to make matters worse were talking over the food...absolutely disgusting.

I ordered dumplings and mixed vegetables on seamless. The dumplings were chewy and flavorless, the vegetables were 99% broccoli and like 2 pieces of zucchini. And all this for a total of $20. Shitty food for too much money. Never again.

We were having serious cravings and can’t believe I haven’t found this place since moving here just a few months ago. The food is actually hot as well as being delicious. So glad we found this place!

I ordered from here and found a small piece of glass in my fried rice while I was eating it! ... I’m sad because I love the food here, but this scares me and I will never order from them again

Bought food from them which arrived about 9pm. Ate some of the rice that evening. By 2pm the next day the rice that was left over was slimy.
