Szimply - Brunch and coffee

We visited Szimply for lunch and really enjoyed the fresh, creative flavors and cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, a few dishes were unavailable, which was a bit disappointing—but what we did have was delicious. Friendly staff and a nice spot overall, just worth checking availability beforehand.

This café gets very crowded on weekends, so there can be a long wait for both a table and your order. However, on weekdays, the experience is much smoother and more relaxed. The coffee is excellent, the food is delicious, and the service is warm and attentive. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Omg Szimply is so good. We went there 3 times during our trip to Budapest. It’s one of those places that’s totally made for Instagram but actually tastes amazing too. The food looks like art - like seriously, I didn’t even wanna touch it at first 😂 I got the bruschetta and porridge, and both were 🔥. The bruschetta was super fresh with a bunch of flavor, and the porridge was cozy but still kinda fancy, if that makes sense lol. The vibe is really chill, kinda hidden, but in a cool way. It’s small but cozy, and everyone there just looked effortlessly cool. If you’re into brunch, good vibes, and want pics that’ll make your feed pop - go to Szimply.

I had the pleasure of visiting Szimply for brunch, and I tried their Eggs Benedict—it was absolutely amazing! The eggs were perfectly poached, with a rich, creamy yolk, served on fresh sourdough bread. The hollandaise sauce was flavorful and had a unique twist that made the dish stand out. The side of mixed greens added a nice freshness to the plate. The ambiance is cozy and charming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Overall, Szimply is a must-visit brunch spot in Budapest. The food, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch.

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for amazing food and a pleasant atmosphere.

Szimply catered good quality, we enjoyed breakfast/brunch with well thought concept. Loved the fact that they had filtered coffee! This spot is mix of urban city and someone's passion to honor simplicity without over serving the customers with option to customize their dishes, they stick to their own vision.

We really like like the way the food was served. But the taste is not that impressive. Nothing extraordinary. The atmosphere is OKish. We believe, the place is overpriced and overrated. The coffee tastes good, though.

we had really a great breakfast, everything was delicious and also the location was curious, in between two buildings, in a small and long courtyard of old houses, it was someway typical i guess, and silent as well since it is next to a traffic street. the service was a bit slow and several times wrong, but friendly and serious anyway, soo recommended!!
