Amazing Hungarian food, the beef stew with dumplings & the plum soup with brandy and almonds gave me the best Hungarian cousin experience during my stay in Pécs. You can also try delicious local wine from the city. The vibe in the restaurant is outstanding- so elegant and nostalgic. I appreciate Hungarian music playing in the background ❤️

Restaurant attached to a hotel of the same name. Food tastes a little like home cooking but on another level. Had the ribs with a side of coleslaw and subbed the fries for rice. Ribs were tender, in abundance, and delicious. Also tried some other dishes I didn't get to photograph - venison was equally tender and drenched in a decadent prune sauce. Fried mozzarella cheese was filling and flavorful with its crusted coat of seeds and side of tartar sauce. Everything was exceptional. Friendly and quick service.

A pleasant experience overall, good value for the price. Staff are very nice, decent breakfast. The rooms and the entire hotel have an early 2000s feel, and there are signs of (over)use, but I wouldn't really expect otherwise in the price range. No issues with cleanliness either. Very conveniently located in the heart of Pécs, but I would recommend asking for a room not facing the main street due to the noise. Dedicated parking is a bit tight for space

Had a great one night stay here. English spoken by some of the staff and they helped me with my stumbling Hungarian (ok I can only say thank you). Superb upgrade for €8 to a two course dinner which was really nice. Good beer, friendly staff, clean large rooms. I'd stay again.

Well priced and clean rooms. Breakfast is adequate as well (no pastries). They cater for food preferences, for eg, no pork/beef.||Location is excellent - just a few mins walk to the cathedral/szecheyni ter.

Very nice and unique internal design, strawberry lemonade is my favorite. We had 2 types of deer dishes and I recommend the one with plum.

Altough the bathroom was smaller than usual everything was fine, the breakfast was good with fresh foods, including the fruits. The room was modern, small, but well organized and ergonomic interior, warm athmosphese and good color selections. The bed was comfortable. This is a medium size hotel with moderate prices, but it worth every coin. They are the only hotel in the city who provide you the "Irány Pécs" coupon card only after 1 night (this card gives you 20% to 100% off from museum costs, restaurants etc). Closed parking place are in the price, coupon card also included in the price. It's in the city centre near to the sight-seeings. The staff are kind and helpful. Air conditioning is also available, refrigirator worked perfectly. ||||The only negative I can note is that the washbasin was too small thus it was uncomfortable to wash teeth or face, but the bathrooms was at least nice and clean.||||I'm sure I wil return one time.

The staff is friendly, English speaking. The food is very good, the prices are very reasonable. You can even stay at the hotel that it's attached too. The hotel is nice and clean and has air conditioning which is rare in a lot of Hungary
