Hostile to the disabled, lack of elevator, multiple stairs. Girls rooms only up the strairs. Appliances/furniture harmful to those with any sort of arthritic conditions or muscle disorders. Disgustingly dirty. Tight space, you bump into things in group rooms, sharp angles. Bunk beds ladders are metal, badly profiled, sharp and tiny, unusable. Girl with arthritis hurt her foot on one pretty bad and couldnt walk during the trip. Bathrooms, and I cannot stress this enough are horrid. Showers in main bathroom on girls floor possibly in male (I was not called into one) situated with the entrajce from the cabin onto the main bathroom floor with multiple sinks. Why. Drains seemingly never cleaned, smell of decay and possibly mold. Usable kitchen by dining room. Dangerous gas stove in second kitchen, usable but very unsafe; Usable showers downstairs. Great location however, close to key places like the Filharmonia Szczecińska and MNSz. The family rooms/rooms for teachers are up to standard, but again hideously dirty with possible snot on walls.

The experience was quite painful to be honest. Whole bathroom was covered in water and the toilets... let’s just say that the bushes in the nearby park were a higher hygiene standard. Drunk neighbors next door partying full time. What a great place to spend a night. As for the pros, the coffee was cheap and quite good.

Rented a Airbnb in Szczecin (on one of the busier streets) and it was so dissapointing, my husband struggled with sleep. The mattress was thin, there were no curtains, it was unbelievably hot and there were screaming people out on the street every night. After 6 days, my husband was so desperate for sleep, I sent him to CUMA. I did inform him that the hostel is very basic but I remember it as clean and quiet. And that's exactly his experience. Half the price for a private room when compared to our Airbnb, and he finally got some sleep. The room had basic amenities, but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, there were curtains, a large balcony for some air, the street was quiet, and the heatwave we were experiencing at that time, was bearable with a table fan he bought. After his first night, he was so pleased he booked two more until it was time for us to go home. Highly recommended.

Good old school youth hostel. I'm not young but I return there with groups every time. Very good location, nice staff👍
