Outstanding! My son and I checked it out before a BU hockey game and went to our "go-to " Italian subs, and we agreed that they were one of the best ever. Loaded, and there's a ton of meat under there. Rolls are the key, and they were very good. Nice job. Have to confess that the wings left a little to be desired, but they were ok.

Yesterday I got food and I feel very disappointed I know it's very minor but explain I asked ketup and didn't get any now this is what I mean my brother lives on a 5 floor walk-up he has nothing in this house that I eat and ketchup is one of those things that I wanted with my French fries it's so hard to find places that have french fries and pizza I'm used to that so I got super excited to have curly fries the best ( not from them throu) and pizza cheese small in one size curly fries and I couldn't even enjoy my food my excitement went out the window I really didn't care about the 30-something dollars I spent I really was upset about the $5 tip but I have no idea how the food taste is it's mediocre food it hits the spot when you need something quick to eat and I didn't have to go pick it up and move the car and they deliver and I didn't have to pay a doordash fee but yeah I'm really disappointed

One of the better grinders I've had in a long long time. Highly recommend their eggplant parm sub- Good bread with good filling. Good feeds on hot dogs too. Also very reasonable prices for just about everything.

I used to like this place, but today I ordered a cheeseburger and the meat was either undercooked or slightly spoiled. The taste — and especially the smell — was absolutely awful.

Great late night pizza joint! I got a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza and it really hit the spot. There was a 20 minute wait, but that’s standard.

If you live in or visit Massachusetts, then you know well that there is a plethora of Italian & Pizza Restaurants. I recently discovered a new favorite: T Anthony. They’re across the street from BU- so you know it has to be good if the students patronize the establishment. They have a solid menu. I do wish it was a little bit bigger and a bit more detailed. The food is solid. They have a nice selection of appetizers, pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, subs, salads, wraps, and seafood. My personal favorite is their pizza. The pizza is always cooked perfectly. The sauce is perfect- not too acidic and not too sweet. Plenty of fresh, delicious cheese and pepperoni. Given the structure of the pizza, I would not go past three toppings. Aside from the pizza, I certainly have more exploration to do with their menu! But for the price, the pizza is unbeatable. The crust, sauce, and toppings all come together to create an amazing pizza. I’m from Chicago, so pizza is a big deal. I’m very picky. T Anthony knows how to make a solid pizza. I’ll admit it: I actually enjoy it more than Chicago-style thin crust! I’m excited to be heading back to town. You can guarantee I’ll be enjoying a pie from T Anthony my first week back! Keep up the great work and solid, dependable food!

My experience is only for take out and I have done that multiple times. the pizza is HUGE and one of the best I have had , (My first ranked pizza is on my profile) Nonetheless it is good for a slice or the whole thing. Also mozzarella sticks are great but what makes them even better is the awesome marinara sauce that they give !

I walked in while watching someone in the back just casually stretch pizza dough like a pro in the air, and having a convo. Cheese slices are good, good ratio of cheese and sauce, and the sauce is flavorful. As per the photo, the crust is thin, yet holds well. Good slice if in the area, definitely recommend.

Extremely unprofessional. Began pointing and yelling from across the room when a friend mistakenly picked up an order called for his name (there was another person who had an order for his name.) Also saw an employee putting mushrooms on pizza without any gloves. very disappointed and will not be going back! food sucked and overpriced.

Have been going here for almost 40 years. Steak and cheese still the best sandwich in Boston. Seems like they have cut back on the portion size but still awesome. Great pizza too. Will always return.

Every time I eat from there, I always ask myself if I need to go to the bathroom before I leave, and..why don't I eat here more often? Thier food is good, great desserts, fast delivery. Their prices are like just about everywhere else. The only reason I don't give it 4 stars as I usually get delivery because a) there is nowhere to pahk, and c) eating out gets expensive for common folk like me. Great place. Check it out.

This is a real review dating back to 1973 - 1977! I lived at West Campus. This was always the best pizza around. Best priced too. And it was just a short walk. Also, back in 2003 when I was driving for an escort service, we would make late night stops.

Not terrible, but not good. Fresh ingredients. Pizza crust unfortunately tastes like a matzoh cracker, almost like St Louis style cracker pizza. Almost gave one star because the slices of pizza are delivered SIDEWAYS. I know this was not the fault of the delivery person because there was no way the pizza would have fit in the bag horizontally. Instead of getting a proper second bag, this restaurant sent out a slice of pizza where the toppings sludged to the bottom. Profound lack of care for people eating the food.

Ok so it's been a long time since I've eaten at T Anthony's... Over 25 years to be exact. But when I was living here in Boston, going to graduate school, there was one thing I craved and ate regularly, and that was the T Anthony's Eggplant Parm Sub! Coming back to Boston this week, alot has changed around Packards Corner on Comm Ave... New buildings, different shops, and I actually missed it my first time walking by. And whoa, the insides have totally changed, with things looking all clean... But one thing that hasn't changed is the Eggplant Parm Sub. Loved it, along with fries and a Marcos salad. Good to know that over a quarter of a century later, something as simple as a sub sandwich can make you feel so good all over again!

Came here for a late night slice of pizza and got exactly what I asked for. Thin slice of pizza, pretty large slice, nothing more nothing less! It's not like it's the best pizza I've ever had, but it definitely hits the spot for the late night pizza craving. However, after about a 10 minute drive to my apartment, the pizza was already cold and not that great anymore in terms of flavor or texture. Will come back for late night pizza cravings, but probably not for actual meals

T Anthony's has been my go-to place for steak and rice, pizza, and chicken wings for years. They are friendly, their delivery drivers are great and food is usually delivered within 20 minutes.

Classic. Used to go often in college and popped back in recently- thankfully still the same great subs and pizza.

A local friend recommended T Anthony's as a BU staple. I gave a try one night when I was dead on my feet and wanted something easy. After eating ravioli and meatballs, cheese pizza, meat lovers pizza, and mozzarella sticks... I can confirm that the recommendations as spot on. Good food, no frills, advice being shouted from owner in the kitchen , perfectly positions this place as a neighborhood favorite. I'll be back again and think you would be happy with your choice if you stopped into T Anthony's! Sorry no pics, I was so hungry I destroyed it!

ownership has changed SADLY "ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END" & "NEVER APPRECIATED UNTIL ITS TOO LATE" The name should've changed with ownership. The new management is killing it! No more good, delicious food. They are impersonal. Orders take an unreasonable amount of time.

Writing this review from California. Best pizza I've ever had. After living in Boston, New York and Los Angeles this is still the best pizza I've had. The guys were always really cool, and prices were perfect. Wish I could get this pizza here in LA.

I have been ordering from T's for decades and they are consistent, clean, responsive and care about their reputation and quality of product. all great things for a business to value! They take a simple formula and rock it! patronize them--it's a good relationship for you.

Been coming here for years. Pizza is always solid. I do miss the Sicilian pizza and Joe/ Marco however.

Under new ownership, their opening was shaky. It took several visits but they finally got the pizza right. I usually order a 3 way combo, pepperoni, sausage and garlic pizza. Absolutely delicious, especially when you add the garlic. My go to place for pizza.

A favorite of BU students, my family would always go before heading over to Agganis for a hockey game. Recently I went back and picked up a thin crust large Cheese and a thin crust large with Sausage and Ricotta. WOW. Their pizza is the best... perfect ratio of sauce to cheese, and the crust is delicious! I love classic cheese, but those dollops of ricotta just hit the spot. My favorite pizza in the city no doubt. A must visit. Apparently they sell a pizza with mozzarella sticks so thats on my order for the next visit.

Hey, I'm always on the lookout for a good Italian sub sandwich. So, when I moved to town and saw this place near my office, I decided to try their Italian sub. For $8-$9 bucks, a small sub just comes with meat and cheese, but I added the proper veg (lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, banana peppers) and it looked like it should. Ordered online and it was ready on time. When I went into the restaurant at lunchtime on a weekday, there were zero customers (bad sign). Sandwich ended up being edible, but certainly didnt blow my socks off with greatness. I will come back if I'm desperate for an Italian sub again, as there's literally nowhere else around here that offers one. But beyond that specific craving, I'll probably never set foot in here again.

Just ordered steak tips with rice and found a long piece of hair wrapped all within the rice. None of the workers are wearing hair nets.

We're in town for the Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk - raising funds for suicide prevention and education. The next day we're of course exhausted, having been up all night, napping during the day. We're tired, we're hungry, we're in an AirBnB and we don't want to go anywhere. What do we do? We turn to our handy Yelp app and search for well rated places that deliver to us in Brookline. Once again, fellow Yelpers, you come through for the community. We ordered on the app, which was pretty darn easy to do. Both of us get different kinds of hot hoagies, er, subs, er, whatever you call them up in Beantown. Lion ordered the Chicken Parmesan sandwich and I go for the meatball. We get an order of fries. Done. This is delivery via a 3rd party service so we figure that it will take a little longer than usual, and it does, probably about 45-50 minutes later our driver arrives with food. Yay! Now, given the amount of time it took, and likely we weren't the only driver's stop, the food was in reasonable shape. The fries were on the cold side but the sandwiches were still quite warm and, being well packaged, not leaking gravy, er, sauce all over the bag. We dig in, both are quite satisfying and a generous portion to boot. Rolls hold up well under the meat and gravy. The fries are typical foodservice, and being on the cold side are just 'meh'. I understand economics, really I do, and I have a choice when I order from a restaurant that uses a 3rd party delivery service. I think they would serve themselves well to have their own, rapid delivery, particularly for locations extremely close by as we were (3 - 4blocks away). Caveat emptor. Overall it was a very good experience, and we would order from them again the next time we're in Boston. Next time though we will likely muster the energy to pick up.

We preordered our pizza for dine in. It was delicious with a wonderful crust that did not get soggy with the toppings! The family was very kind and friendly! It was our first visit but we will definitely go back when we visit our daughter at BU next month!

T Anthony's is a BU classic. Pizzas are pretty good, with a good crust thickness and good cheesiness. Their cheese slices are decent and inexpensive but the sauce is a little too sweet. In the fresh-made pizzas with toppings are less sweet, although I'm not sure if that's the amount of sauce put on, the freshness that makes for better flavor, or the fact that it's hidden by the flavors of the toppings and cheese. Their buffalo chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings are also good for nights you want more than just pizza

T Anthony's is the go-to for any event happening at Boston University's Agganis Arena. Hockey and Pizza are a match made in heaven. The walls are decorated with pictures of BU and Boston sports legends. I've been there for lunch on a number of occasions and sat next to the BU Hockey coaching staff. The gentlemen who make the pizzas have been their for years and the pizzas are always great. The crust is always thin but crispy. They never get soggy like many other pizza joints. Be sure to leave a little time if you are going to a game because you won't be the only one pre-gaming at T's! Good Pizza, Great Atmosphere!

I had an unfortunately horrible experience here on a Saturday evening. We placed an order at the kiosk for an eggplant sub and garlic bread. I know Saturday evenings are busy, but there was no estimated wait time.... if there had been, we wouldn't have ordered, because it ended up taking 40 minutes of standing at the counter to receive our food. When I asked if there was any progress on #245, the young man at the counter had no idea, and the woman behind him kept telling me that #231 wasn't ready. I was confused why she was mentioning a different order that wasn't mine... until I saw that the person who eventually picked up #231 was another young woman who shared my ethnicity. It really ruined my evening. I would have tried to get a refund, but my partner, who had paid on his credit card, had already left because of how long it was taking. I wouldn't recommend ever ordering from here if you don't want to risk racial profiling and a 45-minute + wait.

Ordered a slice of pizza and a salad. The pizza was crumpled and soggy. The salad was soggy, sitting in a puddle inside its container. I could forgive the extreme lateness, if the food were edible. It's too late to reorder. Thanks for a lousy dinner.

Great family owned pizza place with an old school diner feel right across from BU West Campus, open late until 1 AM, I've eaten pretty much everything on the menu while I've been a student here! I'm from Queens so I am very particular about my pizza lol- T Anthony's makes an awesome NY style pizza, great crust, perfect balance of cheese and sauce, my go to order is a sausage and ricotta pizza, another BU fav is the mozzarella stick pizza Besides pizza, I like the grilled chicken panino, steak bomb sub, ravioli and meatballs, and steak, rice, and cheese wrap. Really good desserts also (I like the tiramisu, apple pie) They also have a great breakfast (served until 1pm-ish), I usually get the big breakfast with chocolate chip pancakes I'm going to miss this place now that I'm graduating, and will definitely make sure to stop by next time I'm in Boston!

Located centrally in the Boston university area which caters to mostly students and the various people residing in the area. Plenty of tables here for a quick bite and run. One of their best items are the steak tips with fries or rice . Wish they would cook their steak a little more medium and it's a little pricey that's the negative side of it . Most of the time I had it to go it was pretty overcooked and hard to chew. Also a good breakfast place with their egg sandwich . All in all this is a great place to come for a bite.

When I think of Boston pizza T. Anthony's is the first thing that comes to mind. It's been a BU staple for over 3 decades and the staff is super friendly. My favorite go to order is a buffalo chicken wrap with blue cheese, a slice of cheese pizza and a coke. It's times like these where we need to support local businesses and keep them going. I've shared so many great memories here over the years and hope we all can again very soon!

The Quality of the food is terrible! You pay good money for food and get something worse than you would find at a dollar store! The sirloin steak and cheese like what is happening here did you forget to order the steak for it and decide let's just add these cheap pieces of strip steak for our salads to the sub roll they will never know. My advice just stay away save your money and show yourself a little more respect cause trust me it's not worth a single cent to eat here

I havent been to T' Antonoys in a long while due to a shift change at my job. I had a chance this weekend to head into boston for the day and decided to stop into T' Anthonys. To my supprise it was under new ownership. I also noticed it was pretty empty. Considering the time of day I went in the place was usually packed, eventhough BU students were on summer break. Well to make a long story short I wont be going back. What used to be a go to pizza place and sub shop for me has gone right down the tubes. When you order a cheese pizza you would expect cheese on it. There was a small hand full at best. In my opion the sauce recipe seems to have changes as well. The person i was with ordered an Italian sub and ended up not eating most of it. As another reviewer posted all good thing come to an end and T ,Anthonys has. We wont be going back.

I've been eating at T Anthony's for over 50 years they changed ownership everything went downhill the pizza is lousy which was always my go to I go to. I figured I'd given a few months to get things on track finally went back tonight ordered online which was new. Absolutely horrible experience Don't recommend going there anymore I will not you will not I would definitely travel somewhere farther away to get a good slice. Bring back Joe and the crew absolutely Nothing against the owners themselves personally but they ruined the institution that's been around for over 6 decades I've been going there for 5 myself. Tonight was my last time visiting that and I lived right across the street

What happened here? I think the restaurant has been sold. I have been coming here since my early days at BU and LOVE their pizza ( especially the sauce). I got one today and it was different, It was smaller, cost $5.00 more and did not taste the same. The fab sauce is gone as is the type of cheese. So sad to no have to find a new place - we loved the old one for years. Why would you buy a place and change the recipes?

We're from NY/NJ area, and we take our pizza pretty seriously. We've likely tried nearly a dozen pizza places over 5 years in Boston, but we keep coming back to T Anthony's. Additionally we've really enjoyed some of the other items on the menu - french fries, wraps (Chicken Cordon Bleu), and the salads (the Marco Salad is soooooo good). Their delivery is always within the timeframe provided by grubhub, and there have plenty of times they've come early. Most of the delivery guys are very nice, however there is one (with a Somerville number + red car) that stays in his car down at the street level. I highly recommend trying this place!

T Anthony's is convenient for BU students as it is located in west campus. It was my first meal when I moved into my dorm back in August. The food didn't taste bad, but I don't think I'll be ordering from here again. The pizza was cold by the time it got delivered to my dorm and the salad was very soggy... Definitely better places to try out. :(

I legit just waiting three hours for this place to deliver to me (for a birthday party) so ended up canceling and grabbing food down the street. What a joke.

Ate at T. Anthony's for the first time under its new ownership. I thought the pizza tasted just as good as it previously did. The sauce and crust were just as I remember. Touch screen ordering simplified ordering and payment. Only disappointment was the length of time it took to make the pizzas, but it was a hockey game night.

The food and pizza is great here. Plenty of seating and very welcoming environment. The staff is super friendly and although I don't go here often because it's not an area that I'm in much anymore, they are always as nice as ever. On a side note... Years ago my daughter went to preschool next door. When the owner sold the building, the owners of T Anthony were amazing and generously offered their space upstairs to keep the school in business. It didn't work out for the school and they closed down for reasons unrelated to location, but the generosity of the owners of this place speaks volumes about the kind of people they are and I will never forget that.

Yeah the crowd sucks and the line is ridiculous but the pizza is SO GOOD It serves as great drunk pizza but I'm confident I'd love it sober too. Be wary of all the drunk students if that's not your scene...take your pizza and run. Since everyone is drunk and irresponsible the place gets pretty dirty but I'll look past anything for good pizza. I've heard there's breakfast but I can't stay away from the cheesy pizza goodness.

I might be bias as a BU grad... If you graduated from BU and never went to T's for breakfast or late night, then give your diploma back! We came here for a late night snack (we're like 4 years removed from college btw haha) and not much has changed. Someone blasted some 80s music from the jukebox and everyone was friendly. Unfortunately, their grill was off at that time and we couldn't get wings so we settled for a pie of buffalo chicken (cut into 6 slices) and a pepperoni slice. Prices were very fair and portions were pretty big. Service was good and quick. We ate our single slice as we waited for our pizza pie. The buff chick was very good - they didn't go cheap on the chicken and it was very flavorful. We were definitely satisfied and probably didn't need that extra slice.

A gem. My first pizza at my first apartment with my gf. When I have friends over we order fries and fried chicken. When we're coming home from a night out we share some fried apps. In the morning we go for one of the best breakfast. Omelets are lowkey to die for. When I finish school at BU you can expect me to come back to this restaurant for nostalgia. Love it
