I've been to t-swirl about 50 times in the past couple years, being that my cousin (who is gluten free) ALWAYS wanted a crepe for dessert and we would go together.
For some reason I would never order anything. I'd just come along for the ride.
Now...I've had some pretty shitty crepes in my life, and I think that may have been what was holding me back.
Anyway, just a couple months ago I ordered my diet crepe, the green tea red bean crepe and I was taken away by it, and saddened at the fact that I could have been so stupid as to never order all those 50 times prior when I went with my cousin. Shame on me.
I've ordered that same crepe three more times and it's still just as good as the first time that I ate it. I can almost taste it now. The coldness and creaminess of the green tea ice cream with the warm crepe mixed with the freshness of the sliced strawberries just YUM.
The only thing I can say is sometimes they're a little skimpy with their toppings. But my fat ass has no problem saying "hey, can you spread a little more red bean on there!"
Quick story: before I tried my first crepe, I was in t-swirl with my cousin and decided I wanted dessert but not a crepe so I just ordered a scoop of green tea. And I asked if i could get some red bean to put on top. Now....I didn't think that was a crazy question as I am constantly at Japanese and Asian restaurants and my favorite thing is any dessert with red bean in it on it all over it smothered in it, everything, you get the point. Anyhow...the lady took a small to go cup, and placed ONE SINGLE RED 'BEAN' into the cup and handed it to me. I legitimately thought it was a joke...but it wasn't, she gave me one bean. I was floored.
Long story short, sometimes a little cheap with their toppings, so don't be shy, if you want more, just ask...and ask again lol.
