Lesser-known temples of Angkor you need to explore - SilverKris
"An obscure, unrestored 12th-century Buddhist site hidden in verdant forest, it is often omitted from maps and tour itineraries; moss-clad stones and trees growing through fallen laterite blocks give it a genuine jungle-lost quality and a sense of solitude." - LESTER V LEDESMA
This temple is small and hidden in the forest, not many people know about it. The carvings are quite beautiful. The temple is near the zipline.

For the start, it's located in a secluded area where not many tourists visit. Also the entire temple is crumbling and for a sec I thought I was gonna be buried under it. But still the temple looks beautiful in ruins. What scared me and we left was the snake skin hanging at the entrance 🐍.
But still a beautiful temple if you picturize it keeping in mind its original look.
Plz go with a guide 🙏

Not many people go here and maybe it's a good thing as it's not crowded at all.
The temple itself is quite small but it is simply amazing. Slightly taken over by nature, stones covered with moss, you can feel the history here!

Slightly off the beaten path, with a lot less visitors. Quite peaceful and relaxing. Less well maintained temple, of which large portions are in ruins. There are bats nesting in some of the towers here.

This is by far the best place to visit in the Angkor Archaeological Park - an absolute must-see!

Buried in the jungle. Nice to walk around but majority of it lays in ruins. Can’t enter the structure.

Visiting Ta Nei Temple in Siem Reap, I felt like an explorer discovering a hidden treasure. Surrounded by dense jungle and silence, the untouched ruins whispered ancient secrets. Its peaceful isolation stirred a deep sense of wonder and tranquility in me.

It’s just lovely, set in the jungle with birds chatting away. Wandering through the temple felt like a treasure hunt. There were lintels, Shiva altars, and decorated stones on the ground. Many structures still had full roofs! The canal was interesting.
