A stunning meal with beautiful Terraza views. We shared the vegetarian rice, which was very good.

If I could give 0, I would. Horrible! You only pay for the view! Atuna too much cooked and the sea bar too salty. When informed the waitress he did not sau anything!!! No sorry and nothing to propose instead. DO NOT COME! It is a tourist scam just with the view.

Arrived around 1:40 pm and was asked to be seated immediately. To my surprise there was a Terrace offered and that is what we chose. The Terrace has an amazing view of the beautiful town. I ordered salad with goat cheese, walnuts, raisins, mixed greens and a balsamic glaze and oil dressing. It was absolutely delish but it was 12.50 euro on menu which I thought was pricey but then it was 14 euro on our check. Be mindful there is also a service fee which is basically a seating fee 1.40 euro. There are also additional charges for olives and bread if you eat them. They bring them automatically. If you don't eat them you're not charged. So if you taste and don't like, you're charged. This is not told to you when you are seated so if you are not used to this you might get surprised. My hubs ordered the 15 euro burger which came with a small side of fries. He said it was one of the best he'd ever had. The food is delicious. The value is worth it if you sit on the Terrace. Be mindful of what costs should be and any additions. I gave it a 4 because I don't like incorrect pricing and surprises added to my bill. The view was superb and food delightful.

If we could give the service at this restaurant an 11 out of 10 we would. Rocío our server was excellent. She described to perfection every dish and wine pairing. The food was delicious and the views exceptional. A must try in Vejer de la Frontera.

Skip this place. They might have been good once, but are only selling the view now. We had the Confit artichokes that came out soggy in a stew… not confit’d at all. Fine, but not as described. Was VERY excited to have the 40 day aged 350g steak only to have it arrive chewy, missing even basic salt or pepper when cooked (so zero flavor) and was nearly raw. I like my steak undercooked but you couldn’t cut it. Disgraceful. And sad flavorless boiled potatoes. My blackened tuna was cooked with a butane torch, so it tasted like chemicals… not blackened in the oven… also very sad and uneatable. We told them about the steak and they didn’t care or offer a solution. €125 and the wort meal I’ve had in looooong time.

La Judería has a plentiful selection of wine options and delicious food accompanied by unique view of the white city. We recommend trying a few different glasses rather than getting just 1 bottle. Highly recommend for all types of visitors. We can’t wait to come back!

Well, if you’re looking for a warm and attentive welcome and be shown to a nicely dressed table with mood lighting that you had been led to expect, particularly as you had booked, along with outstanding food, I suggest you go to another restaurant. The ‘service’ was indifferent. The artichoke salad was delicious but a paltry portion. My fish dish which was described on the menu in mouth-watering terms turned out to be simple white fish which was lacking in any form or texture or flavour and smothered in a non-descript sauce. My wife’s chicken dish was OK but again, its description on the menu was wide of the mark. We were so disappointed that we skipped dessert. We requested to be seated on the upstairs terrace but didn’t know that it’s split into two sections. There’s the well-decorated, nicely lit section with plenty of cheer and ambience and then there’s the gulag where we were seated. Maybe the indifferent food was the result of the chef having an ‘off night’ who knows, but the area on the terrace desperately needs to be refurbished and the waiting staff need to be retrained or sacked. I know that this review goes against the view of the majority but it is a truthful account of our experience so I leave it up to you. Neil Shillito July 2025
