Taberna el Pájaro

I came to this place by random because I came the week after "la feria de Baeza" and I arrived at 3:00 pm. 90% of the places were either closed or closed early. I highly recommend this place. The service was very good especially the manager named Victoria (as I believed). She took care of each table at an excellent level. It's been a while I haven't seen someone that handles the table better. The food is abundant. The pig knuckle is well cooked but it was a pity that it was marinated with too much salt. It would be a perfect 5-star if it were less salty. I ate the whole thing without complaining because I was hungry to death and didn't want to wait any longer. Otherwise I might try to ask for something else instead. I know it's not easy to control this dish but I would say is better lack of taste than too salty for the former one still have remedies but the later one is helpless.

Nice outside seating. Friendly and attentive staff. We ordered three dishes to share and each was delivered in turn so we could eat, relax, and enjoy each dish. Recommend the Rabo de torro, available off menu. Highly recommend.

I had good memories about this place, from several years ago. This week we went again fon lunch. In a nut shell, very disapointing experience, prices have ski rocketed, quality half or less, even the service and living spac e has suffered a reduction..... Summary, It will take time for me to return at El Pajaro

Busy restaurant popular with the locals and serving regional specialties. We sampled small fried fish and cooked artichokes (both recommended) and tried regional Jaen wine. Also ended up chatting with a local couple who shared some recommendations for what to do in the area. Very happy with the experience!

We lunched with my partner and his parents. The terrasse is lovely, and the Spanish cooking very tasty. Definitely recommend.

Lovely place. We had lunch there while visiting Baeza. Great food quality, fresh ingredients and very tasty. My only complaint is my main course came slightly cold (calamar a la plancha) but it still tasted nice.

Nice place good food. Seems like they are open all afternoon. Place was packed!
