Taberna Jóvenes Flamencos

We went for dinner at this cozy taverna. Warm and welcoming. Being vegetarian is always difficult when choosing somewhere to eat but we were spoilt for choice! The food was delicious, good value for money too and the service excellent. We were welcomed warmly and the staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend it.

Called in for a snack, ordered three things, ate nine - phew! Great place. Warm, friendly service and fantastic food. The local olive oil with bread, and recommended local goat cheeses, were of superb quality and particularly memorable. Just go in, sit down, and let them feed you. It's what they do. And they do it very well. Characterful decor too.

Excellent food. We tasted, among other dishes, a few delicious local foods, including a soup, a dish made with bread, asparagus and eggs, and a lamb stew made with a fantastic mixture of spices. Unfortunately we didn’t take notes and so we don’t know the names of these dishes. But you can do as we did, and trust the advice of Laura, the very nice and knowledgeable owner, that runs the place with pride and gusto. "Os quatro Portugueses" 17/03/2025

This is a highly recommended place! I ordered local slow-cooked beef and fried eggplant with goat cheese and honey. Both were exceptional! Thank you for the little dessert treat after the meal!

We had an amazing experience at this place! We were invited to sit inside with our dog and she was offered a blanked to lay on, water and cookies! They are Soooo Nice. And the food was also amazing! They have a lot of dishes without meat as well! Loved this place, go there!

So cute restaurant with owners very nice. We had a very local summer soup, very delicious and fresh. The owner promised to send us the recipe, so we interexchange contacts.

We were on a day trip to Arcos when we saw this bustling local gem. We were able to grab one of the last open tables. Samuel served us promptly and helped us choose our meal: potato salad with shrimp, a warm asparagus stew, and a warm artichoke dish. He also provided bread with tiny bread sticks and tasty green olives with garlic. Everything was delicious and authentic. Samuel took good care of us and made us feel welcomed. Highly recommend!!
