Taberna Maceira 1 (Jesús, 7)

They specialize in Galician cuisine. I had a delightful dinner here or at their sister restaurant (I can’t recall because it was a long time ago) and I remember thinking that the food was delicious and a great value. It is still a great value, but perhaps a little bit less delicious. It is a simple, rustic place that seems to have a kind of offbeat vibe, you never know if they are going to have what is offered on the menu. We had a kind of sassy server and it took quite a long time for our food to come out, even though the place was empty, when we arrived for our early dinner. Not sure if I would go back.

Best Octopus ever! So tender and seasoned flavorfully. Chicken and potatoes was moist and delicious. Wonderful atmosphere to enjoy friends and fellowship... The service was amazing! don't miss out on this place!!!

Amazing food-never had razor clams that were so good. Clean and pure flavours absolutely loved it!

I would not expect to have the best steak of my life there but here we are! The tortilla was extra ordinary and the service was also great, we would definitely come back here every time we’ll visit Madrid

Great spot to try Galician food. I had an arroz con almejas and it was delicious. Is a cozy spot and has the best vibes. Highly recommend visiting on your next trip to Madrid!

Very cozy atmosphere, the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing and served beautifully. I recommend this if you like tapas. B.t.w. they have three different restaurants each close to each other.

a delightful spot with lots of great quirks. Had the seafood rice dish and it was fabulous. Tuna tomato salad went with it perfectly.
