Great authentic north Spanish tapas bar, you can have a nice pulpo and be served with a smile

It’s been 10 years since I ate here. Still quite tasty and simple fare at good prices. Kind service in a rustic style room. Worth a visit. Pacing of the meal is slow as noted in other reviews but still a good experience.

Really great little Galician tapas bar for the locals gets a 5/5. Great food and selection including lots of amazing and fresh seafood, meat, veggies in traditional Galician and Spanish dishes. Great selection of drinks including local beers, wine and sangria. Great value but not necessarily ‘cheap’. We went twice and everything was great, including the warm and friendly service. It was a recommendation from a friend from Madrid. Highly recommend.

An interesting place, but unfortunately overcrowded. The staff doesn't speak any English that I can understand. We tried to figure it out with a vocabulary but there was no effort. Meals over salted - probably they want the guests to order more drinks. Unfortunately, not recommended, there are better places in Madrid.

Food 4 stars, service 2 stars, thus the average of 3 stars. Servers tended to be forgetful and spoke no english. Final bill did not match the menu prices, but as the servers spoke no english, I just did not want to argue. Also food took really long time to arrive and in no particular order

Authentic Traditional food in a rustic and colorful location. Really enjoyed the food: we had a tortilla, "Pulpo" with potatoes, and Fava beans soup with clams. Pro: good quality of the food, authentic experience, great vibes, very strategic location, funny and playful personnel. Cons: Spanish menú, so it took us a while to understand what to order. Strongly suggest you to prepare your favourite translator app to be faster. Neutral: fair price, not particularly fast kitchen (considering the food quality and presentation, perfectly understandable). Overall unique experience, strongly suggested!

Beautiful classic Gallegan tabern. Simple and straight to the point. Mostly all dishes server are fish/shellfish based. Chairs could be better to be honest, tiny stools with no backrest. Needless to say that food was delicious so would definitely go back for sure.

Best restaurant to be in Madrid for a typical Galitian food. The restaurant is very typically decorated as the Galitian style. Normally its very crowded and lots of people talking(like in a canteen), so be careful if you go there ,it won't be a silent atmosphere. The homemade Sangria was good. The osobuco was my favourite. The price is value for money. Be aware its not open everyday, check the timing well before going.
