Little restaurant with a nice terrace on the square just by the beautiful church. The food was incredible. We had the Lamb kefta, Morrocan-style lamb kebab and the best Chicken tajine I've had in my life. Enjoy! Thanks.

Delicious food, excellent service, pleasant atmosphere, maybe a bit of music in the background would be a nice touch.
The young chef in the kitchen did an excellent job for both dishes we ordered, he made this dinner a very pleasant experience and precious memory from Cómpeta.

Great food, great Spanish flair, great service, great house wine ;)
The location next to the church in the Centre of the town is perfect. Not too touristy, but of course it’s February.

Great spot in the centre of Competa for tapas or a full meal. We ordered a couple of dishes to share and a few drinks. Lovely service as well with an English menu available.

Fantastic place on the central square of Competa!
We stayed in a B&B nearby for some days and went to Casa Paco for breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner and loved everything... The boss and staff are great, and the food is superb, whether it is a selection of tapas or a solid dinner. with all of that coming at a very interesting cost will make us definitely come back!

Casa Paco was recommended to me so thought we'd give this a try. The food was fine but nothing exceptional. We had some Patatas Bravas with some slightly spicy sauce drizzled over it along with a basket of toasted breads. I had an Iberian Pork dish with Fries and Green Peppers and then followed with cheesecake for desert. All were ok but I've had mostly better dishes on our travels around Andalucia.
Moving on to the service, this wasn't great. I'd booked a table which is worth doing as it was a busy night but I felt service was slow for us in particular. I'd noticed other tables being seated after us who were getting orders taken quickly and food being served out quicker. They were all given baskets of fresh bread at the start, something we didn't see other than the one I ordered. I'd tried to get the attention of staff as they were passing by on a number of occasions whilst they were walking by but felt like they were avoiding coming over to us. My Spanish isn't great but can get by so I'd made the effort to try and speak to them in their own language as much as possible when I could get their attention. I'm not sure if this was going against me though and they didn't seem to speak much English as far as I'm aware.
The atmosphere in the square was pretty good as it was bustling with people and I like the sound of a busy area with people chatting.
It's a shame though as I've generally found Spanish hospitality very good over the years and like to see local businesses like this thrive. Sadly, we'll not be returning to this restaurant.
