Excellent food and very friendly service. An hidden gem that is worth trying! They have local food other than classic tapas. Cocina Casera, as they said in Spain. I had the white beans in tomato sauce with mordilla and chorizo. It was delicious. Don’t forget to try the homemade pâté as a starter and to finish your evening with the local pie with capellos de ángeles! Amazing experience!

Excellent dinner, would visit again! The venison pate with Pedro Ximénez was exceptional and the pork cheeks were lovely! This was well needed, wholesome food after a long day hiking up Mulhacen.

Wow, what wonderful food & atmosphere, combined with a charming & affable host. Staying in Capileira for a few days we hadn"t ventured down this street. Also, open Monday & before 8pm when half the town shut. An absolute gem & that's from harsh Kiwi critics. 🙂

Beautiful and delicious food. I had the wild boar ragout with cous cous. And a bottle of tempranillo. Plus the plates are beautiful. Great way to spend a Thursday in Capileira.

Great service and good recommendations. The venison ragout and boar ragout were both delicious. We were ready for bed after a nice filling meal.

One man show restaurant but a great show indeed. Food is good and we love the atmosphere. Owner is very friendly and makes you feel at home. Be sure to make reservations or go early there’s only 3 tables in the restaurant.

If you are looking for a place to eat in Capileira, this is the spot. They have delicious vegetarian options to go along with the meat stews. Something for everyone. We hiked all day to reach Capileira and could not have found a better spot for beers, tapas, incredible meals, and even a few glasses of liquor on the house. One of our best meals in Spain.

Lovely restaurant tucked away. Prices can seem expensive until you realise that most dishes are for sharing. Our group enjoyed the wild boar ragout and boar with mushrooms after sharing some pates. Medium spice was perfect. Tempranillo and riocha were delicious. Having seen the pumpkin tart, we shared that as well, nothing like the ones I have have before and is recommended. Great music and would go back.
