Google
Had a lovely dinner here. Ordered some olives, octopus and steak and everything was really tasty and carefully prepared. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice and quiet enough to have a conversation. Portions are big!

Should have looked at reviews before ordering one dish per person. This is definitely sharing food and the portions are big. We would have been happy with 2 dishes between 3. All the food was really delicious, my favourite i tried was the cod tempura followed by the fried mushrooms. The staff are lovely and looked after our big group well. We booked for 12 people about a week before. We were the only people in the restaurant at 12:30pm until 2pm when it was suddenly very busy.

The food was really delicious and the price was fine. It feels cozy and nice for after work dinner/meeting. If they had more menus, it would be great! 😊

Google
Staff were very nice and I was very pleased with my experience. Food was quite good as well and for a tourist restaurant it was decently priced. Music was a little loud but the interior decor was nice.

We walked in on a Saturday evening without a reservation and we got a table straight away. Friendly and attentive staff, flawless English. The food was good, well presented and really tasty. The Sangria could have benefited from a few pieces of fresh fruit to top if off, we would probably go for a bottle of wine instead next time.

Their food is perfect! Doesn’t matter the seasoning, the ingredients, and the way they cook are just perfect! During rushed hours, it became so noisy that it was difficult to talk. The waters were friendly, but they tried a few times to take our plates even before we finished the food. I think they were rushing us to leave and in the beginning when the res was empty, they refused taking us to a bigger table until we ordered a lot of food. But the restaurant is beautiful so I think it’ll be better visiting earlier

Yelp
We found Taberna Tosca on a rainy day. We were looking for lunch and to get out of the rain. The location is beautiful and it's easy to find next to the park. The food was good. The cheese plate and olives were excellent. Sadly, my son had a slight allergic reaction, and we never truly figures out to what. He is not prone to allergies, so it was strange. The best plates on the table were the sardines and the tuna. Both were cooked excellently. They are worth a revisit. I asked for a glass of red wine and it was never delivered. The service seemed a bit preoccupied and they were not terribly attentive to us. We are a low maintenance group, so maybe they forgot about us. Either way, the service was a disappointment. If the oppupresents itself, I will try again. It was impressive enough for a second chance.

Yelp
I'm a tourist, and I had my first Portugal meal at here eventually (couldn't find the restaurant I looked for, so I randomly walked in). The food were so great! I had that the best garlic sauce shrimp in my life, and I almost wiped the sauce with bread. I tried the same dish at other places later, but nothing like it at here. I highly recommend!

Yelp
Live music of Lisbon. And delicious appetizer type dinners. Sautéed prawns, home made chips, pork cheeks, Frirm cuttlefish and wonderful olives.

Yelp
Walked into this restaurant while looking for place in the area to eat on a busy Friday night. They were friendly and accommodating. Had a variety of small plated including smoked cod, cheese plate with bread, cilantro/coriander hummus, and homemade crisps. Plus Shared a piece of cake made with brandy. The bread was delicious, drinks were good, atmosphere is friendly. Nice fine. We recommend it!. Plus, but we didn't sit there, but there is seating in the park across from the entrance

Yelp
Stumbled upon this restaurant after leaving the crowded Time Out Market. We were on a mission to try different restaurants so we ordered appetizer to share and an aperitif. We were here early so it was empty when we arrived and ordered the fried cuttlefish that was cooked perfectly and tried the Ginjinha for the first time. Service was good and they had wifi we stayed for a bit to sit and get out from the heat.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised with this little tavern, food was well executed and simple. Wine was good luckily as took a little while for the food to come out, and price point was decent. Definitely worth trying out!

Yelp
Walked in off the street. The waitress was warm and friendly. We ordered 4 dishes and a bottle of wine. Everything came out quickly and was delicious. Would definitely recommend to friends visiting Lisbon.

Yelp
Wasn't my favorite meal in Lisbon, but lovely restaurant space and lovely area. I like the idea that we had the option sitting outside in the square with the locals.

Yelp
Sitting out side dining in the local environment in the sun you can only have a good time if you take the time for your lunch. We ordered pancakes but the waiter suggested to change the selection as there was enough for two persons in a half portion. We wanted to have a white wine and the guidance was very good. After ordering the second glass the waiter came back and suggested to take the rest in the bottle as this was cheaper. The food was very tasty but you have to have patience.

Yelp
Expensive, common food but chill place. Next to the pink street. Interesting to go out after. The tapas are about 8-15€ which is far above the rest of the restaurants located in the Barrio Alto but we had a nice evening there

Yelp
Not a bad place but not the best food we had in portugal either. The fried cuttlefish was the stand out dish. We also had fish cakes, rice with beans, boiled potatoes and prawns. Could have done with one dish less. Wouldn't recommend the potatoes. Prices are higher than the average Taberna, but its located just off pink street and has a great view of the square in front. Also had cider sangria which was nice and refreshing.

Yelp
Great Restaurant to visit in this nice picturesque area of Lisbon. Cais do Sodré. Great Portuguese food and a selective wine. A must.

Yelp
The though this place was fantastic! I would recommend the sausage croquettes and the bread mash with asparagus which was so different and fantastic! The waitress was lovely and the atmosphere was pretty good. They do only one cocktail but change it up regularly we go a red pepper cocktail. This was weird and really did taste like red pepper it was great to try and was a very interesting twist in a cocktail. I would go here again for sure!

Yelp
After a perusal of yelp we were pleased to find that this fun small tapas bar was just around the corner from out flat. Every thing that we ordered here was tasty and fresh. The grilled peppers and goat cheese with caramelized onions were a standout. Great and inexpensive wine selection. The proprietor was friendly and attentive. The wait staff had enough English to get by, but struggled enough to make us feel the we had found a local favorite and not a tourist haunt. We never " repeat" restaurants on vacation, but made an exception with this one.

Yelp
This was definitely the worse restaurant service ever. Our hotel recommended this place, they actually said we should make a booking as the restaurant is good. Anyway, reservation was made. My friend and I went to there and a very friendly waiter greeted us, all good so far, if we only new. The guy brought us to our table (outside.. Very nice) and recommended some nice drinks, after that he disappeared, so a waitress came to take our order about 20 min later... We had ordered 4 different tapas and a side of rice and fries. Our food was served about 30 to 40 min later, but she only brought 2 of the tapas we had ordered and then left straight away, we thought she had been gone to get the others, but not, that's was it, and it wasn't even hot, so an hour later she comes back and ask us if we were ready for dessert... Really? We had no drinks left and were still hungry, eventually she brought the rest of the food, but she actually brought the wrong food, cold again and the rice and chips were missing... It was a totally disaster... The chicken wings that we ordered had some hot sauce on the side, but the menu never said that's was extremely hot and neither the waitress, my mouth was in fire for about 10 min...So, after everything the guy from the very start decided to show his face and said: "I hope you enjoyed your dinner" Anyway... I'd never ever recommend this place. BTW, the place wasn't busy at all.

Yelp
Our last dinner in Lisbon, but an excellent one. We didn't expect much but it was super. Good food, great wines and excellent service. Especially the chorizo and the lamb are great.
