The performers brought good energy, giving a vibrant taste of the art form. The setting was lovely, and while I’ve seen stronger shows, this one was still pleasant. Lacked the raw passion I have experienced elsewhere.

Nice experience even. It was a one hour show with lots of dancing and nice live music. The Flamengo dance is very energetic. The theater has a great atmosphere and the staff was friendly.

I really recommend you to visit this show because it gives a really amazing feeling. It is only one hour but all this time you will feel like you are performing because these dancers give you so much energy when they dance that deep inside like you dance with them. Chairs are not very comfortable and if you are not average size you can probably not fit. Tables also very small But honestly during the show I forgot about everything.

Me and family want to have experience the real flamenco while in Madrid. The music..the dance..completely awesome. ❤️✨ You get one drink while watching the dance😁 (including the tickets). For e55/pax (front row).

I will be the first to admit that when my husband said he bought tickets, I wasn't thrilled. But when the music started and the women came out and poured the hearts and souls into the performance, my soul was awakened. These women are not just dancers, but percussionists. Their dancing adds the drum beat to the music. The band plays a beautiful mix of Spanish and Moroccan music. Multiple vocalists with vibrato transform the songs. If you don't leave amazed, you weren't paying attention.

Small intimate venue where there isn't a bad seat in the house. Order the meal and Sangria then get ready for a great show experience.

Google
The theater offers a 1 hour flamenco show. It's a small theater, and depending on the ticket price, you get a welcome drink. The show itself is marvelous

Fantastic! We were impressed by the quality of the dancers and musicians. They were full of passion, fire and did a great performance. The location, the staff, all is very well done. Fully recommended.

Yelp
Such a beautiful experience! I bought tickets last minute (literally 2 hours before) and I don't regret it. I got close enough seats with a free drink. The performance was amazing

Yelp
Beautiful flamenco show! Both dancers and musicians extremely talented. Great service and location. So happy we found spot.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night for the flamenco show only. The ticket price includes a free drink. I had a nice red wine but when I asked for tap water (aqua del grifo) my waitress said that I could only order bottled water. I was in disbelief. No tap water! I found this fairly rude and declined to pay additionally for water. Other restaurants in Madrid accommodate this without hesitation. As far as the performance I was very pleased. Especially marvelous was Adrián Santana whose blazing energy filled up the room, in all tempi. He has a very clean and tight rhythm that made for a dazzling performance, particularly with castanets. The rest of the band was also a delight, the two women dancers having very different yet captivating styles. A terrific place for traditional flamenco, a mediocre place for food and service.

Yelp
Great show! The energy of the singers and dancers was massive, even for the small crowd on a Friday night. Everyone had a good view, close to the stage, making the viewer part of its seductive performance. We had the ox entrecôte with potatoes, which wasn't bad, except ours got cold because the show made us forget we even had food in front of us! Will definitely go back when in Madrid again. Service was excellent and the sangria lacked alcohol but pretty refreshing.

Yelp
We had a lovely time. At $35 including a show and drink it is a really great deal. The food was also delicious and we got a pretty good seat... I'm pretty sure they're actually aren't any bad seats in the entire place. The servers were very attentive and even encouraged us to take our time when we ordered because he thought we were ordering too much food... And boy was he right! Now onto the dancing... You just couldn't get your eyes off of the dancers and the music is beautiful and is centrally located. I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
If I could give this place 6 stars, I wouldn't hesitate. Definitively, the highlight of our trip. The performance -- singing, dance, and guitar -- were fantastic, singular, amazing, an extraordinary value, life-affirming. We were drop-jawed at their quality. The wait-staff, excellent, professional, charming, friendly, without ever fawning. The food and drink were perfectly fine -- not great but not expensive -- and generously apportioned; I really liked the peppers. We arrived about 40 minutes before the show. We were treated very kindly and accommodating to our utter lack of Spanish language ability. We loved every aspect of the place and our time there. Given that my companion lives in Austin, my eyes were dragged to the review from the Austin Yelper claiming the place as "a little bit cheesy." Not remotely true in any regard whatsoever. Sadly, this type of cooler-than-thou critique is so typical of the wannabe hipsters in that town, and one reason why Austin is so wildly over-rated. But we're talking about Madrid and Villa-Rosa in particular. I cannot recommend Villa-Rosa highly enough. You would be making a mistake to visit Madrid and miss this. To paraphrase Samuel Johnson, when one is tired of Villa-Rosa and flamenco, one is tired of life.

Yelp
The food was really good. We split a salad and each had a meal, so we were stuffed! Very tasty. The dancing was interesting...not what I expected, but it was worth going. The music was great...that singer had some pipes!

Yelp
Of the 3 Flamenco shows we've seen in Madrid, the Tablao Flamenco Villa Rosa was our favorite. Starting with the decor---this place is stunning! There are ceramic murals covering the walls, and ornately carved ceilings and arches. The room is quite large, the biggest venue I've been too. I don't think there would be a terrible seat in the room, although if it was very crowded, and you were in the back, it wouldn't be as enjoyable. It would pay to make reservations early. The manager at our guest house made our reservations, and we got an excellent table, right at the corner of the stage. We just got the 1 drink that is included in the ticket price. I've noticed in some reviews that people are often not happy with the food at flamenco venues. I don't think food should be the main reason to go to a flamenco show. Some people might enjoy this, but I have never had dinner with the show for that reason. There are so many other great places to eat in Madrid, before or after. I think it is much more enjoyable to give your full attention to the performers on stage, and to be caught up in the passion and enthusiasm. I would suggest skipping dinner here, having a drink or two, and enjoying the entertainment. We thought this show and the performers were fantastic. Every place does things a little differently. One place had no male dancers, another had one male dancer, and Villa Rosa had two. I think they were my favorite part of the show! And it didn't hurt that they were both very attractive---one looked a bit like Robert Downey Jr. And they were excellent dancers, as was the female dancer. The singer and guitar player were quite talented as well. The show moved along at a good pace, not really slowing down, letting each performer show their skill, and building to a lovely and satisfying conclusion. Please don't let the fact that you're not permitted to take pictures detract from your enjoyment of the show. There are many places that don't allow this, and it is distracting to the performers. Also, it's a shame that many people are concentrating so hard on their phones and getting a picture that they are not in the moment. And that is what it is all about---just relaxing and surrendering to the beauty and passion that is flamenco. You will experience a night to remember.

Yelp
This is not my first flamenco show but I have to say that it's my favorite. Very good show, exceeded my expectations. I wish I had a better seat but these kind of shows call for that kind of disappointment. The dancers danced their butts off for a little over an hour. They were fantastic!! The singer was just amazing and the guitar player, wow! Lots of energy from all the performers, kept the crowd engaged and excited. The place felt very authentically Andalusian in decoration. I have a recommendation for this place. It would be much better to sit the people that just bought the ticket with a drink at the front of the stage and the people that are ordering food to sit them behind. The waiters kept interrupting the show serving and cleaning the tables while the show was happening! Noooo!! That's the only reason for not giving the 5 star.

Yelp
We've seen two shows (back to back) and we liked this one the best. Great energy and great seats.

Yelp
Highly recommended, not quite the same as the Flamenco show I saw in the south (Seville) years back. Rather than a show, this was more like 3 individual performances (2 men, 1 woman). From a straight dance/talent perspective, the dancers here were better. The dancing is so exotic and beautiful I was in almost a trance like state of awe. The staff was very attentive, from the friendly host who got us our tickets squared away for the late show to the multiple waiters who made sure we had plenty of wine to drink. For the money, this is just a hands down great way to spend an hour and a half in Madrid. I cannot recall the exact price, but I think for two it was ~$70 - well worth the money for the show, one drink, and a small plate of food as a snack.

Yelp
Absolutely lovely. One of the best performances I've ever seen. Bright, energetic, emotional, and colorful. My favorite part of Madrid. The sangria was perfect as well.

Yelp
I am still on a high from seeing this show tonight. The quality of music and dancing was top notch. The dancers and musicians were so passionate. My whole family really enjoyed it. Definitely the highlight of Madrid for me. Go see it! You won't be dissapointed!

Yelp
Villa Rosa offers a terrific hour of flamenco in a beautiful room with strong drinks. Yes, it's a little cheesy and no, I would not spring for the food. However, the performers were outstanding and totally worth seeing. My recommendation is to go for the first evening show/drink combo and then grab dinner elsewhere since the venue is right in the midst of all of the action of Plaza de Santa Ana.

Yelp
Wow! We did the $35 drink and a show ticket and had an amazing time. We purchased the tickets online the same day and when we arrived they knew who we were and took us right to our table. The table was nice and had a great view, however shortly after and before the show started the woman asked us to move to the table that was right up against the stage - we could feel the floor vibrate when the dancers danced!! There were five performers including an amazing guitar player and singer and three fantastic dancers (two female and one male). They all had such a serious love and passion for what they were doing and it showed. The show lasted 45 minutes with each of the dancers dancing solo for about 15 minutes each. We highly recommend adding this to your visit of Madrid.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the flamenco show. It lasted a little over two hours. There was a nice long guitar solo which was great. Each of the flamenco dancers took turns as well as danced together on the stage. They were all very enthusiastic and seem totally committed to flamenco.

Yelp
The best time I had in Spain. Olé! Loved the flamenco show. It was powerful and beautiful. I enjoyed every performance from each dancer. I wish this place was in NY because I would be a regular at this place. Can't comment on the food because I was just here for the flamenco show.

Yelp
The show itself is probably 4 stars but I rated this 2 because of the service. We got there about 20 minutes early and we're seated almost immediately. Our server spoke to us in English and we ordered our drinks right away. Another server brought us our drinks and they were wrong. We ordered 3 sangrias and a beer and got 4 sangrias. No big deal we'll just order the beer when the server comes back... we were hungry and had planned to order dinner for all 4 of us. We sat through the entire show and never once had a server attend to us. We tried multiple times to catch their attention. We realized about half way through the only way to get their attention was to video the show since that was prevented. It appeared they were on phone duty and not interested in making money on additional drinks or food. I write this as I eat a slice of warmed up pizza from a nearby pizzeria. I should also mention the man across the stage from us continually took flash pictures and was a complete distraction, somehow the servers missed him.

Yelp
We had a fantastic experience at Villa Rosa! The show was entertaining, and there no bad seats! The food was good and they accommodated allergies well. Overall great flamenco experience. Also, good for children!

Anne-Marie H.

Yelp
Very expensive for the show that is being offered. Although the dancers are good, they do not dance together. The food is mediocre. Would not recommend this place at all.

S S.

Yelp
We attended on a Friday evening for an energetic performance. The guitarist and vocalist were reminiscent of the gypsy kings in style of music. The 3 dances were amazing and beautiful in the robust dance. We enjoyed a sangria which was robust. Thankful we attended.

Yelp
Yes! If you go to Madrid, this is a must-do. Beautiful music, intense dancing, and a great show. I had no idea what to expect and it turned out to be my favorite thing we did during our visit to Madrid!

Max H.

Yelp
Service was good, and the atmosphere pleasant. The show was incredible, it exceeded our expectations by a lot. They offer two shows per night, one at 9 and one at 11. If you want dinner, drinks and a show, be there one hour early, enjoy some food and drinks, the show lasts one hour. You will be there for two hours total and the cost per person (with plenty of drinks and tapas and show) is approximately 55-60 Euros. It's really worth the experience.

CC M.

Yelp
Terrible rude unhelpful staff, very expensive, very very hot and not worth a visit for fake show or food! Don't bother
