We had a great stay - so glad we chose Table Mountain Inn! It’s not fancy but it’s not trying to be - it has charming character, comfy beds, a friendly staff, and great chips/guac/margaritas right downstairs. Everything felt clean and well maintained. Loved the balcony room with a view. Very quiet at night. Easy 10-15 minute drive home from our Red Rocks show last night. We’ll stay again next time we get up to Red Rocks!

The best pick in Golden! Charming place with friendly people. Our room was spotlessly clean. Loved the cantina downstairs. Balcony room with a view made for a memorable stay. We’ll be back next time we see a show at Red Rocks - it was an easy 10-15 min drive home from the show.

I have stayed in tons of 5 star, luxury hotels. Table Mountain Inn is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in for a number of reasons! Is it a top notch luxury hotel? No. This hotels luxury is in its comfort, cleanliness, unique style and decor, extremely comfortable beds, fantastic management and staff, if you request anything it's there in minutes! Their restaurant? Outstanding (shout out to Ginger, our server who I wanted to adopt)! We will definitely be back!

Google
We stayed three nights in one of the suites they have. It was a very good room with a proper separation between seating area and the bedroom. It also had two separate balconies which we enjoyed.|We ate breakfast in the hotel three times and had dinner there once. Food was tasty and good quality - pretty good value too.|There’s always a “but”. This was that with the exception of the guy at reception who checked us in, we just didn’t feel welcome. Going to breakfast early when it opened we felt we were imposing on people, when we checked out the person barely made eye contact, didn’t smile and no “hope we see you again” and at dinner service was quite quick but felt very impersonal.|All in all a nice place to stay, yet I don’t feel that they cared we did.

Wonderful hotel. Location was fantastic on Main Street! Our executive suite was huge and super nice with two balconies! Free parking across the street or valet garage parking for $25. Front desk was super nice! Thank you for everything, you have a wonderful hotel!

Google
The table Mountain Inn was amazing... the location is perfect, the restaurant in the hotel is delicious and by far our favorite part was sleeping with the screen door open to get all of the mountain fresh air. Would defiantly go back- Golden is a gem and the Table Mountain Inn only adds to your stay in this great town.

Our five member group loved the town of Golden and the hotel offers several room options. Suggest special accommodations with Table Mountain View’s which are outstanding and loved the outdoor balcony. Webb site was remiss in suggesting this room type so learned as one couple had called and were informed of the upgrade.

My husband and I have stayed here twice for RR concerts. It's very comfortable. There's a great restaurant across the street. After a show there isn't much going on. One terrible dive bar but everything else is closed. We definitely decided this is our place to stay for shows.

Yelp
This hotel was amazing. The staff was super friendly and very welcoming to our family on our overnight stay. The room wonderful, clean, very neat, very well stocked with everything. The best were super comfy. Just what we expected in this community. It is pricy but we knew it would be and we wanted to splurge!! The restaurant is unique to the are so make sure to request a menus if u have small picky eaters!!!!

Yelp
Everything except the location could be improved. The central location is super convenient for being able to walk around downtown. The decor is cute, but very dark with minimal lighting. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have slept on in the continental US. The mattresses were ancient and while they had added toppers to try and make them more comfortable, but it did little to hide the broken springs. The bathrooms were very basic, with no hair dryer or iron. The a/c units were loud and barely functional. The views out my room were of the service roof and HVAC systems. I had accepted that this was just part of staying in a historic Hotel, built in 1925 it is 100 years old this year, but the treatment we received negated any goodwill. We reserved and prepaid in advance at the last minute to attend a funeral. Upon arrival they informed us that one of our reservations could not be fulfilled and I would have to change rooms 2 night into a 3 night stay. When getting keys for my new room I was double charged for the previous 2 nights and told that I could take it up with Expedia, even though they had my prepaid reservation confirmation number and they had assured me it would be handled when we initially checked in. Kevin Gibbs, the Director of Operations, was very rude and dismissive. Outright telling me first that I was wrong about the conversation that we had had upon check-in and later that while that may have been what we were told, he knew better than those who checked us in so it didn't matter. He flat out refused to look at our confirmation information. While the Table Mountain may appear like a cute place to stay in historic Golden Colorado, I highly recommend you find any alternative available.

Yelp
My family and I have stayed here several times when visiting Golden and would 100% recommend it to others. The beds are super comfy, the room is clean, and there is lots of parking available! I also love that there is a restaurant on-site! It is perfect for grabbing a bite once you get in, or going for one of their happy hour deals. Super convenient location with a coffee shop/cafe next door, lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance, and close to campus.

Yelp
Expensive, overpriced, and they charge for late checkouts. All for a town with nothing more than hiking, overpriced backpacking stores, a 1/4 mile downtown, and the world's shortest river tubing. HARD PASS!!! That being said, the staff is very good, and I'm sure most people will enjoy the experience.
google avatar

Hans M.

Yelp
Grossly overpriced. For $350+/night you get a small, dark room that hasn't been touched in decades. Old time AC that's too loud. Power outlets that don't work. Giant armoire that takes up too much room. Rooms are a lot nicer at Hampton Inns for $120/night. Also, for this amount you don't get either parking, breakfast, or have a coffee maker in your room. The only thing the Table Mountain Inn has going for it is its location, which it uses to justify over-charging by hundreds of dollars. Never staying here again. There are other options which may be the same price or more but for which you will surely get a better room & experience.

Yelp
I stayed here a few weeks ago and had a great time. The restaurant is good, the bar is top notch. It's convenient to everything I wanted to see in downtown Golden. The staff were friendly and laid back. 100% will stay here again.

Yelp
If you're heading to Golden, here is your place to stay!! This is the cutest hotel I've stayed at in awhile and it is so clean! Starting with the staff, everyone was so incredibly kind. They were overly accommodating and genuinely nice, which was refreshing. As soon as we got to the room, I noticed how clean everything was! I felt so cozy and comfortable, I wish we had another night there. We can't wait to come back!

Yelp
First time visiting Colorado, and mainly chose to stay in Golden because we came to see a show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. If you've never been to a show there before, you may be surprised to find that it's very difficult to find lodging in Morrison (where the venue actually is) outside of Lodges & B&Bs which are usually booked months in advance. So, if you can't get one of those, I'd definitely recommend staying here. Nice Inn, with very spacious rooms and you can opt to get rooms with a balcony looking out to Table Mountain - which I highly recommend you do. Friendly customer service, clean, fantastic location. It's actually right across from the famous Woody's wood fired pizza. But, they have a Cantina onsite, as well. We only had breakfast there, but it was pretty good. And the bar stays open fairly late, with a good selection of cocktails and local craft beer.

Yelp
This place has a great atmosphere and fun menu. Mostly Mexican. Variety of margaritas. We came in this afternoon for just some appetizers and a couple margaritas. We ordered the house with salt on the rocks, and a Cadillac with grand mariner and both were wonderful!! We just got the Brussels sprouts since we weren't super hungry and they were pretty satisfying. Big enough for two to share. They had a slight spicy kick and were served with macadamia nuts which was different and gave a little protein boost. Service was good, we just sat at the bar. I know from previous experience that the restaurant is great too, with a fun atmosphere right at the heart of charming downtown Golden. Stop in here for a margarita or fun cocktail from their menu, and some unique Mexican inspired fare.

Yelp
What a great night! Loved the food, and our server was such a great spirit! The accommodated a table of 8 last minute and we're great with the kids, thank you.

Yelp
It was suppose be a birthday celebration at Coors tour .I had to return to the hotel and cancel my ticket my parents when alone .The person at front desk stated if I didn't return something bad will happen. My respond was what do you mean.He stated my dogs will be impound for abandonment and neglect. For what and hour and thirty.First off there was two guest staying on fourth floor the room where space out.You couldn't hear anything. And second my dogs where pass out sleeping.I have video and pictures.Theyre both senior dogs one's a service dog. They are the mellowist Chihuahua on planet not barky at all.We have taken my dogs everywhere, planes, trains restaurant, museum etc.I was appalle by the hotel staff and Management think its ok to threaten paying guest this way.I would've sue if they did that my dogs. Its inconceivable to do it to anyone. And valet once they park your car your not allow to retrieve anything out of your car unless your taking out of the lot.Next Airbnb best choice and hotels are thing of the past.

Yelp
Have been here a half dozen times and always found the quality and service to be above average. The place is clean and the food prep is quick. Definitely recommended.

Bob K.

Yelp
It's a great landmark hotel, but hasn't been updated in awhile. Not thrilled, especially for the price. Bed and pillows aren't terrible, but not as good as advertised either. Tub was dangerously slick. I almost fell getting in, thank goodness for the grab bar that was positioned for someone taking a bath, not a shower. Cheap cheap toilet paper, take your own, if you don't want sand paper. Camping toilet paper is better quality. No microwaves, refrigerator froze my food, and coffee maker basically "warmed" a cup of water. And there's no free parking anywhere in Golden, $20 a night valet parking only at the hotel. All hotel personnel and valets were super pleasant, but this didn't make up for the lack of quality for the price, very disappointing.

Yelp
Table Mountain Inn was perfect for our 2 night stay. We had a beautiful, large room overlooking the town or Golden with a beautiful view of Table Mountain. The Cantina and Grill was delicious, one of the best salsas/chips, margaritas and Cauliflower salad I ever had. The best part was that you are dog friendly and the puppy love package that our pups got, they loved the doggy beds, treats and the collapsible bowls are great for travel and hiking. We can't wait to stay again. "The Cowboy" provided great customer service and staff was so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Colorados front range. Yelp
BEWARE!!! CHARGING HIDDEN FEES!!!! My husband and I have been staying here for years- even on our honeymoon and have really enjoyed it. This year we were so disappointed! The front desk manager on duty was rude and unfriendly. Then when I got my credit card statement there was a $300 additional charge on another transaction that I was never made aware of! I called the front desk and was told it was for a smoking charge. Mind you, NEITHER MY HUSBAND NOR I SMOKE! The lady at the front desk talked to her manager and then informed me she couldn't transfer me but I would need to talk to her manager, Aaron Roberts. I immediately hung up and called that number. I was sent to voicemail. I left a detailed message twice, but never received a return call. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company. Just BEWARE and check your credit card for fraudulent charges.

Marta B.

Yelp
We spent only one night there, but it was great. The room was clean, and all the products available for showering were top notch; the showers had high quality towels too. The whole experience was wonderful!

Yelp
I was here on business & room was booked by third party. Flight was delayed & I got there at 10pm. Lady behind counter Kate would not give me the room because she couldn't find authorization. Why would you confirm a reservation to somebody if this is hotel requirements? The business that booked it was under impression that everything had been taken care of. Why not call them & ask for authorization? They can't read your f*fing mind! Why penalize a guest that has been traveling all day because you can't get your act together? Then give me some BS excuse that she will be fired if she gives me the room. She had the credit card on file. Just rude bitchy front desk service . Never will I ever stay here. Just awful!

Laurie K.

Yelp
Changed happy hour time to only go until 5 without telling us. parking is only valet for dinner. Plus prices have gone up again! Just not the same friendly Golden place

Yelp
Great escape from Denver! One of my favorite things about Table Mountain Inn is the view, followed by the theme of their decor. Our Executive Suite had incredible views of the Table Mountains and shopping was within walking distance. The Grill and Cantina is a great convenience, and the service in both the inn and the cantina was excellent.

Shannon M.

Yelp
We stayed here for a family wedding. My card (which was the card put on file at the time of the reservation and NOT the card presented with our ID upon check in) was charged for another room. When we saw we had $2,000+ taken out of our account and questioned this, they explained that our card was charged for our rooms and 2 rooms for a family member. I had asked how that would happen considering the ID they would have presented wouldn't have had my name or picture on it to match that card. No response to this could be given. Since it was charged for a room of a family member's, the front desk suggested we Venmo each other but this is not what the other family or I wanted to do. The front desk issued a refund of over $1,000 but it took 4 or 5 days to process. This was money coming out of my checking account and we were now getting ready to fly back home across the country as a family of 5. The front desk told me there was nothing they could do for me for my troubles and asked me for my name and phone number so that a manager could contact me regarding the issue. There was never a phone call! When I returned home, I sent 2 emails to follow up and no reply. Overall, I was frustrated that my debit card, that was not even presented at any point during check in, was used and proper protocols of checking ID was clearly not in place or done correctly. So for our trip across the country, we were out $1,000+ as a family of 5 and were told there was nothing they could do.

Yelp
We had an amazing stay here! The room was very spacious and the view of table mountain is gorgeous at all hours of the day. I love the decor of the whole hotel and how friendly the staff is. We had dinner at the cantina and it was delicious. I got the hibiscus margarita and the portobello fajitas. The service in the restaurant was really great too. The location is perfect to explore everything in Golden or drive to red rocks!

Yelp
I found this inn on Booking.com and just knew we had to include it in our trip. We went with friends for a long weekend. The rooms were awesome, the decor was dreamy and we all felt it was the perfect place. Breakfast at the cantina was very yummy.
google avatar

Yelp
Hotel staff were very friendly and competent. Plenty of parking space for us, which was nice to have so close to our room. Very cute decor through the hotel and restaurant. The room seemed very clean and well taken care of. The bed was very comfy with lots of pillows to choose from. The only thing was the wifi was a little slow at times, so not sure what was going on there. But overall would come back again!!
google avatar

Nikki T.

Yelp
We absolutely loved our stay here and the town of Golden. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The decor was really pretty with a southwest theme. There is an inside restaurant and bar with really good breakfast, this was really convenient. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Yelp
A terrific Mexican restaurant within the iconic Table Mountain Inn in the heart of Golden's downtown district, this is a really good stop for a light meal or a great lunch or dinner. Superb atmosphere, whether you sit in the regular seating area (mostly comfy booths) or the Cantina. Their chips and salsa is outstanding, and their variety of salsas are superb. I had a tasty burrito that was served perfectly, and my server, Katrina, was kind and professional.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered the fajitas and it was like biting into a car tire. I sent them back. Not coming back

Yelp
Great location right at the end of historic downtown Golden. Very bright & clean. Friendly service. The room was on the small side, but it was clean. the bed was comfy. The AC was quiet and there was also a ceiling fan, which was nice to have if you didn't want the AC on. There was quite a large patio, but it didn't really look out onto anything. The doors to the room close very fast & loud. You could hear some noise from people passing in the hallway, but not enough to bug us.
google avatar

Renae E.

Yelp
Great location in the heart of Golden with a grill/cantina restaurant on site. Woody's Wood Fired Pizza is across the street. Easy to walk everywhere from the hotel location. We stayed four nights and enjoyed the hotel and its amenities. A couple of cons: 1) Our room was clean but very dusty, especially around the perimeter of the room (carpet meets baseboards) and the drapes needed to be vacuumed. If you have allergies, beware. 2) The people in the room next to us were extremely drunk and fighting on our 3rd night. I heard things I've never heard before in my life. My husband and I felt like the man needed to be taken out in a straight jacket. He was verbally violent. We called the front desk and they came up immediately but it was too late the damage was done. Obviously it wasn't the Hotel's fault , but just really unfortunate. Overall, nice place with helpful and friendly staff.

Yelp
I would be happy to stay at this hotel any time I'm in Golden. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The grand room with the balcony had mountain views and a great view of the town! Even during COVID, it felt like an escape. Between the location, the rooms, the service and price, this was a great experience that I'd be happy to do all over again.

Yelp
Met a friend here for dinner and had the Chicken Enchiladas. TM's Mexican fare is solid but I wouldn't go so far as to say it blew my socks off. I get the impression they are more focused on the hotel side of things than the restaurant side of things. My enchiladas were good and the service was ok once we were seated. My real beef is with the seating. When we arrived the hostess said it would only be a few minutes to be seated. However, I watched several other parties who arrived after we did, be seated before us. Also when I peeked into the dining area there were several open tables. I returned to the hostess and asked how much longer she anticipated our wait to be and she told me a few more minutes. All in all we waited about 30 minutes, which seemed to me to be about 25 minutes too long considering groups were seated before us and there were open tables. Granted I don't have all the information as to whether the people seated before us had reservations or not, but it just seemed odd to me since there were open tables after we were seated.

Yelp
We have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past. This time they instituted valet parking at an extra $20/day charge not listed on Hotels.com and the loss of flexibility to get things in an out of our car easily. We have a dog that barks so when we go out to eat, we would normally leave him in the car he knows in the underground garage (no barking involved and no excessive solar heating). With valet we were no longer allowed to do that. Rather than disturb the other guests, we had to get the car out of valet parking for each meal, find a parking spot in the shade for the dog often within 3-4 blocks of the hotel (restaurants are within walking distance). Parking in Golden is terrible and even worse when you are already paying for a parking spot at the hotel. When we turned the car in after a dinner trip, the valet left the car running in the parking spot and we only noticed because we took the dog out for an evening walk. It would have idled all night if we hadn't gone out that way. We managed to pollute Golden with short car trips due to bad policy. We also picked up a $30 parking ticket when we missed a Zone 1 sign but did manage to park behind the designated line. We will never go back.

James W.

Yelp
This is the BEST Inn I've ever stayed at. After a long trip out west from the east, and staying at multiple inns around the country, this one stands out as the best one. They have this perfect southwestern architecture to all the rooms. Customer service is an A+ 10/10. Bed was like a cloud, big TV and all kinds of comforts and amenities. Room was spotless. And eating at the restaurant Woody's was almost like a dream. Do yourself a favor and try this place you will not regret it.

Yelp
We loved this hotel!!! the Tabletop Inn is warm and inviting, our room was perfect. The hotel is immaculate! The restaurant service was great and so was our food. Our experience was a 10!!!! The Inn sits in the heart of Golden over- looking Tabletop Mountain.
google avatar

Joe N.

Yelp
The bar had the worst service known to man. They by far take the cake for worst place in the world. Apparently people in prison have it better than the people that run that bar, because I have never seen somebody more mad at life than the bartender that night. He belittled us and told us that "nobody in golden accepts a digital id".... We proceeded on with the night and every place we've been to in Golden since has accepted the Colorado digital ID without a question. ...maybe because the reason they invented it was to show that you were of age...This guy was more into being right than earning another 500 dollars for the restaurant and satisfying his customers. I now need to have another drink just thinking about it. Walk across the street to Woody's and you'll find find yourself having a much better restaurant experience.

Yelp
Great place for Sunday Brunch! Loved the soft shell crab! Nice ambience - good wait staff.

Yelp
"We highly recommend the Table Mountain Inn in beautiful Golden, Colorado. Exceptional guest care from Check-In to Check-Out. Special thanks to Eric, Janae, Kate & Erin for their excellent guest care, their patience, and their willingness to accommodate our many needs. Overall, after staying at other locations on previous visits to Golden, the Table Mountain Inn remains our family's favorite." -JJD"

Yelp
We stayed here 6/5/2020 for a little getaway for our anniversary. I've seen reviews that the hotel is dated. I think they did a lot of updating during the COVID pandemic. Our (2nd) room was beautiful, clean and faced Table Mountain. When we first arrived we had a room in the farthest corner of the hotel, facing a parking lot. I called the front desk and asked if we could maybe be moved. Stephanie immediately showed up to our room and gave us 2 options. I'm not sure why they put us in such a small room, without a balcony, but I did book through Priceline... so maybe ya get what ya pay for? I know the hotel was not full and the absolute accommodated us. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. We had dinner downstairs, in the hotel, and it was awesome! We are thinking that this place may be our monthly escape from Denver!

Yelp
Table Mountain Inn has a comfortable like home atmosphere. The convenient location is perfect for walking to trails, restaurants, shops, bars, spas . The hotel has some comfortable areas to hang out, have a great dinner, and/or drinks. Room service is available. Service is spectacular.

Yelp
My daughter and I had such a great time here. The hotel was accommodating. Our room was clean - overall a great experience. I'm sure we will visiting again soon for another quick getaway.

Yelp
Great nearby retreat from bustling Denver. Our Executive Suite had incredible views of the Table Mountains and spacious too! We could walk to everything. The Grill and Cantina make awesome drinks and yummy menus for both dinner and brunch. You can't go wrong with the flank steak and barbacoa enchiladas. Super cute front and back patios for open air seating. This is a local's hidden gem!

Yelp
Food is always predictably mediocre, but last night they outdid themselves. Prime rib was tough, bland and dry. Presentation was laughable--a wad of gummy mashed potatoes dominated center-plate with 5 asparagus spears on top of that. The prime rib plopped down on top of all of that--what? Had to deconstruct all of that to get a bite. Not appetizing in the least. Stars are for our waitress, good service there.

Yelp
This place is not recommended!! They brag about iconic... blah blah.. no parking!! WiFi works sometimes. The staff at the restaurant are rude as crap and if your a single traveler don't even bother to go to the restaurant! This place is over rated and hate that I cancelled my reservation to the Golden Hotel to stay at this "iconic" piece of crap. Update to two hours later.. after spending over $250 a night ... I am in bed and there is a extremely loud unit right outside my window. Update 230 am!! Sitting on a curb outside because the fire alarm went off! Everyone in this hotel has been standing out here for nearly an hour and not one representative from this hotel has told us what is going on and when we can get back into our room!! Update! The next night. Tv won't work. Tv remotes won't work. Internet is still in and out and I can not work. Front desk doesn't seem to care. DO NOT STAY HERE! Update- night 5 A mouse/rat ran through our room last night! This is absolutely unacceptable.

Yelp
The rooms here are incredibly spacious. The decor feels updated, yet also maintains the character of Golden. Everything was very clean, and we could not have been more pleased with our stay. Whether you're from out of town or you're a Coloradoan looking for a stay-cation, Table Mountain Inn is an excellent choice to take in the Golden main street area.

Yelp
This restaurant was highly annoying. Food was not that great. It took forever. Food was obviously sitting. My omelet was luke warm. My son had a cheese burger and the bun was completely soaked through as it sat for a long time and was very greasy. Our food was ordered at completely different times, the omelet took 35 minutes from order to serve. The Medium rare burger took 40 minutes from order to serve. Used way too much cilantro. It was on the breakfast potatoes and the french fries. I am allergic to cilantro. The service beyond sucked. We were in the restaurant two hours, and we saw our server 3 times only. For this service and long waits, the price is completely outrageous.

Yelp
Great service and excellent dining at this center of Golden town! Prime rib special was superb - well seasoned, thick and juicy! GF had the trout - what a super fresh choice - never frozen - local trout that was perfectly boneless and super light coating! Wines were well presented and our waiter was top notch! A definite A+ place to dine when in Golden!

Yelp
We've been here a few times, but I guess this is my first review. I had the relleno plate this time. It was really good. The tempura coating was really crispy and the inside was really cheesy. Like it literally oozed out when I cut into it- delish! I'm not a fan of re-fried black beans, but they were ok. I also sampled the banana bread french toast, chorizo, and chicken fried steak. Everything was really good. Our waitress was awesome...she handled our table of 14 really well. The best part is the complimentary cinnamon rolls they give you when you first get seated! We'll be back!

Yelp
Loved the decor, staff & location of this hotel. It was extremely well placed & their food was pretty good too. It's probably one of the most popular spots within that area, but there are also great and cute shops in the area and it's centered within a canyon of the mountains which makes it even more lovely! The beds are like sleeping in a cloud, the bathrooms in the rooms are spotless and roomy and it's just enough room for you to put your clothes away, or leave bags around the floor. Either way, I had a really great experience here and would definately come back and stay for a long weekend again.

David H.

Yelp
Exceptional hotel but even better customer service. we booked a block of rooms for out of town guests for a wedding. Courtney and staff were great to work with and extremely accommodating. Also had the rehearsal dinner at their banquet facility with over 70 guests. The food and service were amazing. 1000 times better experience than the other hotel in town. I would definitely stay there again and book any and all events at their hotel. One of the best in years!

Yelp
We enjoyed our stay at this Southwestern themed hotel. There was adequate parking, and the room was very clean. The best part about this hotel was the location. We walked to all of the nearby sites. They also offered professional shuttle service (extra cost) to nearby Red Rocks. Our driver was exceptional, and it was so nice being picked up and dropped off door to venue. No need to worry about traffic or parking. I definitely recommend this hotel!
