We have been coming to Bar Harbor for 30 years, I can honestly say this is the best culinary addition to the town since George’s (for those who remember) this restaurant is quite honestly a true 10 out of 10. The yellowtail appetizer was the best I’ve ever had. The dinner was delicious as well, and the staff was fantastic. Best spot I’ve been to in Bar Harbor in a LONG time

My husband and I came here for a nice dinner on our honeymoon. The food was amazing, portions were great (lobster roll was massive and definitely to Maine standards!), and the vibe of both the dishes and atmosphere was a nice balance of finer dining and small-town home cooked hospitality. Highly recommend!

Service was outstanding - sat at the bar and she was fabulous. Food unfortunately was disappointing- bread service is $12 and they sent old bread. We didn’t say anything and waited for the next course - Cesar salad was good but lobster 🦞 bisque was not :/ We didn’t finish the bisque or the mussels / both tasted not right I would not recommend for people who like good food :/

Food was exceptional. Only got small plates, the lobster bisque and seared yellow fin were delicious, mussels and chicken livers were cooked perfectly. Wine selection was good. Service was excellent. Would definitely go back!

i have never left a review before but i just had to for this place. BEST brunch in bar harbor! this restaurant just opened up last week but you’d never know from their handcrafted cocktails and yummy, local food! the mimosa cart was such a cute addition to an amazing brunch. you have to try the pancake and the seafood platter! will for sure be back for dinner to try that lobster roll!

A must try! Amazing food and a great environment with killer service. I wish we could have tried more. We had a couple appetizers, one entree, salad and dessert and loved everything. I wish they were open on Monday’s so we could go back tomorrow to try more dishes. No regrets with this

The bed & breakfast where we were staying recommend making dinner reservations so we consulted Google. The menu was intriguing and reviews were good, so we chose Table Salt. We were not disappointed. By far it was the best meal we had in Maine. We started with bread service which was sourdough locally made, with an herbed butter. Wish we had more time to find the bakery and to take some home. We split a wedge and lobster bisque (so rich!), then my husband had halibut and I had lobster mac & cheeses. My husband commented frequently how good his was between "mmmm's." Mine was such a large portion that yielded lobster with nearly every bite. It was so large, that I only ate about a third. We will definitely recommend Table Salt to anyone we know visiting Bar Harbor.

We liked it here so much we came back a second night. This place is a step above anything else in town. Super thoughtful dishes, well balanced flavors and a varied menu. The service was well trained but not stuffy in the slightest. Over our two nights we tried - The local oysters, beet salad, salmon dish, halibut fish. Second night - Seared albacore, more oysters (on happy hour), grilled cornbread and short rib. Every single dish was good to great! I have to shout o their oysters. I am not an oyster girlie but am now converted. So fresh and briny with perfect cocktail sauce and a scallion mignonette. If you're looking for not another tourist trap, with fresh bs frozen seafood - COME HERE.

We were visiting Bar Harbor from Atlanta after a day of hiking in Acadia and stopped at Table Salt for dinner at the bar. It was truly exceptional. I ordered the salmon, which came with a thoughtful mix of fall flavors that elevated the dish and paired beautifully with the fish. The flavor profile felt unique and perfectly crafted. My husband had the halibut, which was equally rich and delicious. We also shared the lobster bisque--creamy, velvety, and full of flavor. For drinks, I tried the Nightmare Before Christmas mocktail. It had a wonderful balance of blackberry and fig with a light sparkle--refreshing yet seasonal. My husband enjoyed the Bonfire cocktail which was full of fall notes. Julie and Beth took excellent care of us at the bar, making the whole evening feel welcoming and fun. I would absolutely return to Table Salt and happily order the exact same meal again. Highly recommend--whether you're visiting or local, this place is worth it!

Holy Moses!!!! This spot is an absolute must-try! The entire meal was flawless -- there wasn't a single thing we didn't love. Table Salt has the best lobster bisque by far. We usually go to Jordan Pond where I've ordered the lobster stew, but honestly, Table Salt blows it out of the water. We started with the short rib, which was absolute heaven, and the deconstructed Asian tuna appetizer -- so fresh and flavorful! I ordered the lobster mac and cheese, and wow... now I understand why it's so popular. It was cooked perfectly, the lobster was tender and plentiful, the creamy sauce was decadent, and the crispy breadcrumbs on top took it to the next level. This place delivers on flavor, service, and experience. Highly, highly recommend!

We grabbed seats at the bar at Table Salt and had a really good experience overall. The food was excellent the ribeye I ended up with was perfectly cooked. A bit fattier than I usually prefer, but still flavorful and tender. Slightly on the pricey side, but I didn't feel ripped off. Originally, I had my eye on the burger, but was told it was no longer available by the time we ordered, which was a bummer. My wife had the summer salad and enjoyed it. Drinks were well-made (pictured), and the bar staff was fantastic--friendly and attentive. Only major downside? It was hot inside. Like, uncomfortably hot for me and my wife, which never happens. Definitely took away from the overall vibe. That said, I'd still come back just maybe not on such a hot day?

Quaint, modern, and chill vibe. Dinner was delicious and beautifully presented. Bar service was top-notch, and the drinks were phenomenal!

The food was delicious and we had great service at the bar. I had a delicious lobster bisque and my husband enjoyed the lobster mac & cheese.

One final dinner in bar harbor before we headed home. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the interesting menu Service is great. I would try several of the appetizers if you decide to visit We had a problem. We actually ordered too many appetizers but really enjoyed every one of them

Food was excellent. However the service was subpar for a higher end restaurant. Ambiance was pretty loud with music over the speakers you couldn't hear your conversations. Our waiter was Kevin. He was slow on orders and made excuses on why he wasn't attentive. Not coming back.

Too expensive and not nearly as good as competitors in town. Nothing bad, but nothing outstanding...expected more For the price.

Outstanding! So pleased. After eating lobster daily for a week I needed a steak (and lobster)! Table Salt did not disappoint. We started with the wedge salad which had plenty of sizeable blue cheese chunks. A great choice. The main course was the boneless ribeye and add the lobster. Steak was cooked perfectly with a great sear. I was not expecting it to be so well cooked and flavorful for a seafood mecca like Maine. Thank you for also shelling my lobster. I appreciated that. Perfect cook on the lobster and the mashed potatoes and horseradish sauce were great pairings. Finished with a piece of coffee cake like cheese cake with blueberry compote and lime glaze. Fantastic. Our waitress Mindy was most attentive and pleasant. Well done all around.

Tried the chocolate and wine tasting, and it was AMAZING! The owner and his wife make their own chocolate, and I wish they made it to sell because that would be everyone's Christmas present...so so good! Must go.

Wow! What a nice place. The food here was amazing. We started with the Seared Yellowfin and the Lobster Spring Rolls. Both were delicious! Would order both again. For our entrees we had the salmon and the halibut and again, the food was amazing! So flavorful and the perfect size dish. If you are wanting some quality food with great taste- look no further!! The service was also great and our server was so kind to us.

For my birthday I always love visiting Bar Harbor from western MA, so happy I picked this spot for my b-day dinner! Food was FAST, cocktails were beyond amazing, and our server Eli was incredible. He went above and beyond and as a fellow in the industry I was truly impressed. Best service I've ever had here or really anywhere, we had a drink spill and the bartender himself came over to help out and make us a new one free of charge. We had the duck, the ribeye, and the lamb and they were incredible. Can't recommend enough.

My wife and I were very much looking forward to an enjoyable upscale meal. The menu is creative, and we were excited to go. We sat down to enjoy our drinks at 6:00 and soon after we got them, we were asked to order and don't take too long, because we have another reservation at 7:00. Seriously? My perspective is if you are going to pay more than $100/person there should be time to enjoy the meal in full. We didn't even have desert. Mind you, the food was very good, but if I wanted fast food, I would go to Burger King.

We had an amazing time last night at the bar. The 2 girls serving us (Cassie was one) were fantastic. Great cocktails and the food was outstanding! The halibut was one of the best and the oysters and lobster bisque was SO damn good! Highly recommend

We came here because of Bet. We met her last season and have followed her for where she works. We started our evening at the bar and ordered a few cocktails along with Bar Harbor Blond Oysters with a cucumber vignette which was the special for happy hour. Then we had the seared yellowfin appetizer. Outstanding! So many flavors cascading in your mouth! Then I had the lobster roll because for 23 years of visiting Bar Harbor, I enjoy trying each restaurant's lobster roll. This lobster roll knocked it out of the park! My tastebuds were so happy! My husband had the filet mignon and added scallops. He was extremely pleased. It was our last night of our trip and we wanted to have a spectacular dining experience. The service at the bar was fantastic. The bartender from Bulgaria was fascinating to watch as he mixed drinks. We also loved to be able to hear eachother in the restaurant. So many places crank up the music and you can't have a conversation! Table Salt is a top restaurant in Bar Harbor! We will definitely return to try other cocktails and anything on their menu because we know it will be amazing!

Table Salt was hands down the best restaurant we visited in Bar Harbor. Everything--from the food to the cocktails to the service--was outstanding. Our server, Eli, was excellent. We arrived a little hangry, but he was attentive, checked in often, and made sure everything was perfect. He recommended the lobster spring rolls, which we probably wouldn't have ordered on our own, and they ended up being the highlight of the meal! It was quite loud inside, but we sat outside and the ambiance was perfect.

Had to try it while in town for vacation. I loved the ambience of the place and in a good location, but parking is very difficult to find. The service is very good for recently opening. My favorite here was the shrimp spring rolls, and the bread dip.

We enjoyed everything we had here but just be prepared to spend a bit more too. They're on the higher side when it comes to pricing but they do deliver, everything we ordered was good. One of the better meals in town.

The food was phenomenal! We started with the beet salad, crispy Brussels & pork belly with scallops. Each app was delish, great variety of tasted. Plus the Rioja perfectly complemented the meal. Then the ribeye came out--it was huge, so glad we shared, even so ended up taking 4+ oz home. It was cooked to temp, the potatoes with truffle sauce were delicious, and the onion rings were shatteringly crisp! Finished off with the Maine apple crisp with salted caramel sauce, I highly recommend this place, food was great, service too. We sat outside based on a tip that indoors was loud, so glad we did!

bussin salad tasted like fish. didn't enjoy the fishy salad. need to get head out of butt and learn to cook a steak. my girlfriends dad can make a mean steak and he dosent charge $65 for one. the potatoes served with the filet taste mango 67. the lobster roll tho was the only thing anyone liked apparently. and the bread saved my hunger. the butter was great also. great place if you like to spend a lot of money for mediocre meals. our seats hurt my butt.

Amazing food and service!!! We got the Cesar salad that was so fresh. Bread service was perfectly crisp. For our entrees we got the surf n turf and it was perfectly cooked and had amazing mushrooms and green beans with it. Also got the frutti di mare and it was to die for. Drinks were amazing. Dessert was great. We had the olive oil cake and honey sundae and it was all 10/10.

Wow- this restaurant is one of a kind! High light of our trip to Bar Harbor! The lobster Mac and cheese is amazing-the best of the best! Wish I could have come back again before leaving the state- went on our last night -wish it was our first!!

The front of this new venue can be deceiving as the interior is hard to see and a bit dark but this long time old Chinese restaurant has been transformed into a lovely, sophisticated dining spot. The decor is well done with high ceilings and a spacious dining room and bar area. Really. A transformation! We did not have a reservation, on a busy Saturday evening, so arrived early in hope of a table. Though the place was already very busy, and the bar area was full, the nice hostess sat us, quickly and graciously. Everything from there just kept getting better. Our server, Elijah, was terrific, showing much patience and knowledge explaining the menu and answering our myriad of questions. We were there in the waning minutes of "oyster happy hour" and ordered our favorite loyal oysters "Bar Harbor Blondes" and their specialty cocktail. Perfect. Following Elijah's detailed explanations...we shared the seared yellowfin tuna app..which was one of the best dishes we've ever had. Generous enough for two, and as the following dishes also demonstrated, a work of culinary art. Husband ordered the game hen entree, which again, was beautifully presented, generous portion, and terrific combination of flavors from the accompanying squash to the flash fried prosciutto accent. Perfectly cooked. I had the lobster bisque, and it, too, was inventive (and as a Maine resident to decades, I've had many lobster bisques). Husband tried a 2nd cocktail which was fun...with flamed rosemary accent. Then, their expert server regarding desserts, Kevin, came over and patiently, informatively, described their wonderfully inventive offerings...it was hard to choose but we ended up sharing the flourless chocolate tart...OMG...just the accompaniments of rich cream, deep chocolate, a toffee crumble and...a toasted marshmallow/fluff were incredible. Easily enough for 2 and we couldn't even finish it! Then partner/owner Dan stopped by to say hello and describe their plans for staying open until 1/1/26 and reopening in March with future visions of a rotating menu, etc. He described their brunch menu...a Mimosa cart! From the very beginning to the end of the meal, we both said Table Salt is one of our best meals ever...and we eat out a lot in many cities/countries. Our only suggestion would be for the owners to review ways to lower the overall noise level...which did make it difficult to converse at times. Noise baffling the high ceiling and large dining areas would contribute to a better experience but these owners are experienced in restaurants (Nashville) so I imagine that will eventually happen. We can't wait to return and try more as the menu offers so many great options.

This place was delicious and had a friendly staff! Definitely get the mussels and lobster bisque. We didn't have a reservation but had a great time at the bar.

This is amazing new restaurant. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared and original. There is no fine dining in area but this place is it!!!

Service was slow food was bland very unhappy... simple things were forgotten and our waitress was an airhead!

This place is absolutely amazing. Excellent food and service. Our group had raw oysters and yellow fin tuna appetizers, summer salad, ribeyes and lamb shank for entrees and the carrot cheesecake for dessert. The food quality was excellent, and all dishes tasted amazing. It is a little pricey, but worth it if you are looking for an upscale dining experience.

This is a Bar Harbor Gem! The food & service were excellent, especially since they only opened 5 weeks ago! We had a couple of apps, and they were both fantastic. The surf & turf was perfectly cooked (could have used more surf), and the halibut was also delicious. We were thrilled to find a restaurant in Bar Harbor that served something other than pub food. Bar Harbor needs more restaurants like this & something other than a T-shirt shops!

Food was amazing! Had the burger, very delish, fiance had surf and turf, also loved it. Olive oil cake was decadent.
