We had a lovely experience at Tables at Nitida! The setting is beautiful – surrounded by gardens and greenery, with a mix of cozy indoor charm (fireplace, chandelier, and rustic touches) and peaceful outdoor views. The food was delicious and beautifully presented – fresh ingredients, generous portions, and attention to detail. The drinks were just as impressive – refreshing, full of flavour, and served in stunning glassware. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. Whether you’re coming for a relaxed meal, a drink with friends, or a special occasion, this spot ticks all the boxes. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, gorgeous surroundings, and a warm atmosphere in Durbanville’s wine valley!

Ate here on Friday for lunch. It was nice and quiet. They launched the new menu (see pics) and food is the usual standard, very nice. Pics: Beef Trinchado which is very good. Probably the best dish I've eaten at Nitida. (R230) Other dishes: Cape Malay Veggie Curry (R165) + Butter Chicken (R195) + Pulled Pork Toastie (R185). Others said their food was also very nice. Dessert was salted caramel apple blondie (R95). Serving sizes are good and food is full of flavour. Will be back.

Great first experience at Tables. Nice place for quality food, portions were big and tasty. Waiter Ashleigh, gave great prompt service, and recommendations on the menu.

Today was such a beautiful sunny day & we've decided to take my visiting mother-in-law for lunch at Nitida. Such a beautiful setting between the vineyards, gardens & beautiful trees. It was busy today, we didn't book a table & when we got their we got the last unreserved table. We ordered our meals, we were not in a hurry, food did take a little bit long to arrive, but it was worth the wait. The food was beautifully prepared and really tasty, big, hearty portions. Our waitress was maybe serving a couple of tables too many because we struggled to get her attention a few times & we had to wait quite a bit for assistance. Overall, we enjoyed it. There are beautiful lawns, families having picnics & children running around & playing in the playground area. Lovely for families with young children. Also saw it is pet friendly & people bringing their dogs, sitting in the outside areas. We'll be back again soon!!

I've been to Tables many times, and this is by far the worst the food has been. My brother had to send his burger back as it was ice cold. For my son's kiddies burger, we asked them to please add cheese....when we got the bill...I was in shock, R30 for a sprinkle of cheese on a kiddies burger is absolutely ridiculous. You can buy a small block of cheese for that price. Whilst I understand the cost of food these days and I have zero issue paying for good food but the prices for lunch are just ridiculous for the food you get. It's tasteless and bland. Your breakfast menu is great, and the prices are good. Just an all-around disappointing experience today that's left a "bad taste" in my mouth.
