Got 3 mixed tacos, only 9€. So good. Lovely person at the register. Great sauces.

First time visiting this restaurant and we’re impressed. Haven’t had Mexican food this good since visiting Mexico. We had the Tacos with Cochinita Pibil, Pollo Mole and Picadillo as well as Quesadillas with Chorizo. Everything is fresh and full of flavour. The margaritas are great too. We can’t wait to come back.

Honestly really good food, especially for 13 euro a plate. You don't see that in Berlin much anymore with its stagflation rent economy of post 2020. Ta'Cabron is situated on a well-traveled route of Skalitzer Str. before the big junction, but far enough away from other pubs, cafe's restaurants to feel kind of secluded. I sat outside on a damp, 20 degree July evening after working the entire day in the rain. The atmosphere inside was jovial and warm. Decorations are simple, guests are average, happy people. I was told by the server that the side of red salsa I got with my enchiladas verdes was "very hot," a fair warning for locals who might consider even yellow mustard a bit sharp. It was just the right level of heat in my book, with a lot of cilantro blended in, and matched the dish perfectly without overpowering it. That's really important in the age of melt your face off hot sauce. They also have Modelo but you need to come earlier in the night or it may be sold out. The bloody mary and Mezcal margaritas seem good too. I got Pilsner Urquell. Congrats to this place for keeping a quaint, but easily remixable menu, and the cash only tradition that is lost on most newer eateries in town. It's a little trip back to what Berlin used to be, when food like this was the most exotic thing one could come across in the city - alongside Kreuzberg bar-hopping and a groggy 4am entry to Watergate...and man I wish I could go back to experience that time. I'll be back here at least.

It had been a long time since I last visited Ta'Cabron and I must say that today I was pleasantly surprised, the staff was super friendly and attentive, the service was fast, the prices were fair and the food was excellent. The enmoladas were my favorite, but the tostadas my husband ordered were also very well served and tasty. Micheladas were top! Sorry I was very hungry and didn’t take pictures from our dishes, but I will be back soon 😉 It was definitely worth the visit! Thanks for a great night cabr*nes! ❤️

Great food, excellent service, friendly staff, and a wonderful atmosphere. I really enjoyed the Michelada! I highly recommend this place.

Very nice little place. Very tasty food, specially the Quesadillas. The guy was super nice too, he explained, gave us suggestions... Super cool people, very good ambience. If you like Mexican food, I recommend you to check it out.

Yelp
I notice a few people mention the "mean waitress" or "loudmouth waitress." You people are all wrong. She was a firebrand but also the best thing about that restaurant. As I was getting up after finishing my meal the first time I went there, she also barked at me, "Hey you, clean your dishes!!" to let me know that I should collect my dishes and deposit them by the bar where you order. I remember feeling confused and wondering what I had done to earn her scorn. I also watched her chew people out who had a snippy tone when they placed their orders. She was at times a drill sergeant of a waitress.... but by being a relaxed and friendly person, it was not hard to earn her trust and land on her good side. And it was worth it to do so because she made the best damn margaritas in Kreuzberg. About six months ago she moved to Madrid I believe and sadly Ta Cabron hasn't been quite the same since. The enchiladas verdes are still fine but somehow different, The chicken seems different, something subtle has changed, and just isn't what it used to be. And don't get me started on the margaritas... they still serve them, and they are fine, but they are just plain old margaritas now. They don't have that magic. That pizzazz. These days, I don't really visit Ta Cabron much. Only once in a while to see if things might have turned around. I remember fondly now though how it was towards the end. She'd spot me and give me a smile and I'd get to the head of the line and she'd chat a little -- as the bustling throng of hungry patrons waited eagerly behind me in line, desperate to place their order -- and she would ask me how my day was. If people got too impatient or fidgety while she was telling me about what was new with her she'd bark a firm command at them them to chill - and then, light a light switch - finish whatever she was saying to me in a friendly tone. She was sort of Basil Fawlty meets the Soup Nazi, but with the frame and accent of a fiery Latina. I miss her.

Yelp
Really now, Germany? I should've probably known better than to get a burrito in this country without doing extensive Yelp research beforehand, because döner is definitely king here. And if the döner joints on every corner didn't tip me off, the fact that the burrito I got at Taquería Ta'Cabrón looked more like a döner or some sad wrap with a dollop of salsa on it definitely did. Maybe the quesadillas or margaritas are passable, but my burrito was so pathetically wrapped that I've sworn off a return visit. In other words, everyone knows that a burrito's ingredients should at least be completely enclosed inside the tortilla... or whatever inauthentic tortilla substitute you end up using. C'mon, Ta'Cabrón. No partial credit. Because of the poor construction, the ingredients were poorly distributed throughout the entire burrito and each bite was a bland surprise. At €7.20, it's a bit pricier than a burrito at Dolores, but I'd go to Dolores over Ta'Cabrón any day.

Yelp
was excited to try this place after 4 weeks in berlin and very little international cuisine. i showed up an hour before closing on a weeknight and was told they already closed? there were ppl inside still eating meals but whatever, that's disappointing tried again tonight i gotta say they are really living up to their name! they ask that you order at the counter, then sit and eat, then come back to the counter to pay?! never seen this before anywhere. why does everyone have to line up twice? that just slows your service down double. oh and the cashier is also the bartender so if you order drinks that will also slow down the line. i wait 10 mins to start placing my order and after i order the crispy tacos he quotes me 45 mins. okayyyy then i order the second item and he straight up refuses- he says that it'll take forever and they can't tonight. mind you there's not a single customer sitting inside and there are a few open tables outside they are obviously struggling to serve a half empty restaurant and for that reason i feel bad for their employees. they obviously need help and to reexamine the way ppl are served. the dishes i did see coming out of the kitchen were just room service quality mexican food. not worth the aggravation of trying to be served; on to the next!

Yelp
Had the soja molè quesadilla. Was pretty tasty. The refried beans were awesome and the small "salad" that came with the dish was fresh and zesty. I definitely recommend this place. I love molé sauce and although theirs isn't my favorite it's still pretty good!

Yelp
I got the "Quesadillas de Cochinita Pibil" and the Nachos. Unfortunately, they didn't have a free spot so I had to take it home and of course, they were completely cold when I arrived. But I have to say that even re-warmed up, everything was pretty good, although I really look forward to taste it fresh made. Anyway, somehow I don't get the completely taste of Mexico, something is missing but I couldn't tell what and I must add that the Nachos tasted like if the came out of a bag from the supermarket.. The Quesadilla was really good and really well filled, and surprisingly the beans were also really tasty. All together costed 12€. Next time I'll get the Tacos and another Entrée to know exactly what I think about this place.

Yelp
This was my second time at Ta'Cabron and it won't be the last. Honestly, I don't see any reason to try another Mexican restaurant in Berlin on my short visits, because I know this one is will be great every time. We had the Cochinita pibil tacos, the fried shrimp tacos and the guacamole this time. Slam dunk! I had the mole tacos last time and they were also amazing. Best part? They serve Dos XX (the lager kind)! I noticed a few people complaining about prices, but considering I live in Munich they seem pretty cheap to me! There is nothing left to say except: EAT HERE!

Yelp
I guess it's just Germany but it seems like all food here is bland. That's why I decided to come here since Mexican food is known for the taste and flavour. Unfortunately I didn't get that, with 3 shrimp tacos I've ordered. The shrimp wasn't even whole and since I paid 8 euros for it, I was hoping to bite into some delicious shrimp meat but noooope. Was there any? I don't even know. The only thing that was ok was the cream sauce that came w the tacos but it didn't save it. I'd recommend another place than this. Sorry! Oh and the horchatta was bottled and probably not hausgemacht.
google avatar

Yelp
I really don't know what kind of restaurant doesn't carry any form of change, so when I went I needed the exact amount of cash for the bill. The food was mediocre Mexican food and quite bland. Maybe I'm a little harsh and picky because I live in San Diego which is right next to the US Mexican border, but I expect better.

Yelp
Authentic Mexican food in Berlin? Hmmm.... I was intrigued, as my fellow Californians have told me this doesn't exist. A German friend read a review of this place in Zitty, claiming that it is what is up (the review, not the friend). So we made our way here for lunch yesterday. I like that the menu has multiple veg options. I opted for the Soja Mole, hold the rice and pico. When it came out, I was initially shocked, because it came with meat - I wasn't aware that they served soy meat, so once this was clarified, I relaxed a bit. The mole sauce was OK, but not outstanding. The burrito itself could hardly have been called that. Sure, the food was good, but the bread tasted more like Döner Brot. It reminded me of some kind of dish Herbivore in SF might make, but it was not by any means the Mexican cuisine we Californians are blessed with. I was hoping for fresh-made tortillas, but no such luck. We did get chips and guacamole as an appetizer, and that was quite good. The selection of Mexican beer is also. But authentic Mexican food? My search for this has just begun...

Yelp
Easily the MOST AUTHENTIC Mexican food in Berlin. Anyone who has lived in or visited Berlin long enough has searched high and low for even *decent* Mexican food and probably come up short other than Santa Maria or Dolores where you can expect extreme amounts of people and not a ton of flavor. Fortunately there's this little spot! I stumbled on Ta'Cabrón while my friend, visiting from Argentina, and I were searching for dinner options. As soon as I read the name I knew it'd be more authentic than any generic place like Del Taco or Mas y Mas. I was not disappointed! First sighting at the bar/counter was El Jimador, one of my favorite tequilas. Then I began to browse the menu and found my favorite food when I was living in Guadalajara, Flautas de Papa! This place is also nice to go to because you can order in Spanish, German or English. They understand what 'vegan' means and I highly recommend either the veggie tacos or the flautas de papa. Just ask for them vegan (subtract cheese and cream). The only downsides to this place are kind of high prices for the Berlin eating out scale and I've had a couple times where they've completely forgotten my drink order which is frustrating. Otherwise the service is always super friendly and music is amusing. A must do in Berlin!

Yelp
Ok, as a SoCal expat in Berlin, I live in perpetual pursuit of quality Mexican Food, which is an exercise in futility throughout most of Europe. That being said, I received a tip about this new "Taqueria" which opened up in Kreuzberg, called Ta Cabrón, & based on the name alone, i had to try it oot. Here's the verdict: 3 tacos = 3EUR... choose the marinated pork over the ground beef, or choice of 2 different soya versions for the veterenarians, or the chicken Mole for the sweet toothed. Excellent guacamole & pico de gallo on truly homemade corn tortilla chips. I like that they have a quasi salsa-bar, that is, at least two bowls of homemade salsa, help-yourself style... The tomatillo sauce is spot-on! Corona y lima, Bohemia Cerveza for beers, cozy atmosphere and open kitchen where you can see what happens. Another important point is the authentic refried beans-- probably the best i've sampled in this city-- come with the taco & quesadilla plates. Suffice it to say that i'll be going there twice a week till i've had a chance to try all their dishes. Next week, fish tacos(!), tamales, burritos. It's nice to finally have a choice of top-shelf Mexi in Berlin. Bravo, amigos! *Corrections for the admin: the name is "Taqueria Ta'Cabrón" address: Skalitzerstr. 60 Opening time is 13:00, not 12:00

Yelp
Forgot our reservation, kept us waiting for 1.5 hours until the food came and even brought the wrong order. Basically everything went wrong what could've gone wrong, but at at least the tequila was on them in the end.

Yelp
This place is the authentic deal. I've been scarred by years of TexMex. Don't get me wrong: I love TexMex, but it makes you forget what is the actual taste of Mexico. Well, this is it: real Mexican food, with real Mexican spices and real Mexican preparation. It's delicious. The place has good vibes and a good atmosphere. My only complain is that I wish they served fish: I try to be an honest and good pescetarian, but these guys with their great Mexican food make me eat meat. For shame! You can go to Hopfenreich around the corner afterwards for craft beer.

Yelp
I've eaten here 3 times in the past year and unfortunately it didn't get better. Watery Mexican food with very little flavor(s), very bland. As for the basics... beans are lifeless, the 2 salsa choices are always dull and tortillas seem stale. Perhaps it's made more for German taste buds or perhaps I'm spoiled from being raised on Mexican food in Los Angeles. People who have never had real Mexican food will probably think this place is authentic. The staff, especially the man behind the counter, are generally rude, which I guess is still "cool" to some establishments in Kreuzberg 36. Not worth the money, rude attitude or the long walk from the Ubahn stop to get there.
google avatar

Yelp
Finally! Authentic Mexican flavors. Hard working attentive owner chef. Food choices are as varied as possible in such a tiny space. I hear it gets quite crowded, and I wouldn't want to be around for that. Only six or so tables and they take reservations! I find that concept crazy, but it seems to work. Food is excellent. Margaritas great! Burritos. Tacos. Soups. Real Nacho plates. Yummy guacamole. Nice selection of salsas!

Yelp
I was very surprised to find authentic Mexican food in that area. Food and drinks are just great, especially there are many different gluten free dishes, which is very important for me The atmosphere is simple and nice, without any pretentiousness Stuff is friendly, they look like they enjoy what they are doing, I felt very welcome, not like in other restaurant in this area. Even the music was so cool, that I asked the bartender the name of the band!

Yelp
Great service and great tasting food. We stopped by and had tacos (chicken tinga), with pinto beans, very tasty and authentic. Coming from LA this was the real deal . We also hand the quesadilla with chorizo on a flower tortilla, it was excellent. They had corona beer but decided on Eichhofener beer, not bad. They were very kind and saved my property that I had left behind. I picked up my property the following day and decided to have some green chili chicken enchiladas with refried beans. The beans are authentic and this place is very inexpensive. Overall if you're from Los Angeles and you're craving a plate of Mexican food you should come here.
google avatar

Cevat I.

Yelp
Maybe you will enjoy it, assuming you never traveled to south of Minnesota but even then there is no excuse for serving saggy chips with some refried bens, pico and jalapeños and calling it nachos. Tacos were small, drinks were expensive, service was slow, tortillas were store bought, guacamole was meh. So don't expect TexMex or even decent Mexican food here.
google avatar

Jay P.

Yelp
AUTHENTIC & damned good! Maybe the best in Berlin. You'll pay for it too, but trust the Mexicans you see eating there: good picadillo, excellent guacamole, superior cochinita pibil!! There's Dos Equis & Negra Modelo if you must, but I'm content with the homemade horchata too. Drawbacks: small, crowded location, portions horrifyingly small to German sensibilities, prices marked up for hipsters. Minus one star.
google avatar

Louis T.

Yelp
Finding anything Mexican that can be categorized as "not horrible" in Berlin seems to be kind of a chore. Hence, I am maxing out the rating on Ta Cabron for being a solid option that is somewhat veggie friendly as well. The salsa is spicy, the ingredients fresh, and the flavors from each ingredient distinctive. Since it's in a cool area as well, no reason to miss it. We almost did, basically out of old-people-ism. Kreuzberg doesn't end around Kottbusser Tor, but we'd never wandered this far East until some show at Postbahnhof a while back.
google avatar

Yelp
After the medium success of visiting the taco truck, we heard this place might also offer half decent Mexican food. Fingers crossed, we tried it. Plenty of excellent sounding options and a burrito & taco were served with sides of sour cream & salsa (including a salsa verde). Love that! However, I may have chosen unwisely. Seeing chicken mole I automatically picked it as my favorite. But I picked it for the burrito and the flavors...just weren't right. It is that intangible issue that is so often the the problem. And then I noticed there were peas in the burrito. Not any worse than the pickles I have served in mexican food in Germany (yes-really), but equally unwelcome. The guys in the kitchen sounded like they had a Mexican accent so where is the disconnect? Honestly, if I didn't know what Mexican food tasted like I would be happy here. The seating is lovely and there are great inexpensive options. But I left with a hunger in my soul. Mexican food in Berlin? Maybe someday...

Yelp
I really wanted to like this restaurant but... Total fiasco, their system broke because they had 8 clients before me, had to wait 45 minutes to get a so so guacamole. Then another 15 to get the main dish. The food is ok I guess, tried the green enchiladas and they were only acceptable and the side dish was bland and nobody in Mexico would use that much cilantro as garnish :(, my husband tried the cochinita tacos and they were tasty but really this little cantina won't see me again any time soon. It's a self service restaurant and they never came to clean the table, we ended putting everything to the side...

Yelp
This place is great! Definitely my favorite Mexican joint in Berlin. It has all the basics, nachos, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc. They stick to the basics and they do a really good job at it :) The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they just raised all their prices, it use to be a really great deal. FYI they are closed on Mondays.

Yelp
Holy goodness! This place makes me sad I don't live in Berlin! Finding a good Mexican restaurant in Munich is like seeing a unicorn... However, as I came to find out, one does not need to go far to find good food in Berlin, and THIS place is one of those astounding gems :). The restaurant itself is small, but the paint on the walls and the quirky decore only adds to the awesomness of the place. I ordered the Pozole (which is essentially like a soup with hominy beans and pork in some type of red broth - that isn't necessarily spicy, but can be). My Fiance ordered the nachos (YUM!), my two friends ordered tacos - one shrimp, another pork (if I remember correctly). We all decided that we also wanted chips and guac, and we were pleasantly surprised! Not only was there a GOOD portion of DELICIOUS guacamole on the plate, but there were plenty of crunchy tortilla chips and it was like 4 euro (easily enough chips and guac for 2-3 people as an app). My fiance's nachos came first, and the were the bomb.com. They had ground beef, what tasted like some type of ooey gooey Mexican cheese, beans, and all the standards that make nachos a party in your mouth/tummy. My pozole came next. I was thrilled. It came with this tiny bowl filled with veggies, and a thin (just fried) round tortilla chip. I let that bad boy chill in my pozole for a bit before I dove into my meal, and as Frank the Tank would say from Old School "once it hits your lips, it's so good!". Although I did not try my friend's tacos (because I was too busy stuffing my face with my own meal), I can attest that they thought their meals were equally as delicious.

Yelp
It sure is the best authentic Mexican food in Berlin, and who knows in Germany...? Not perfect, but very close to what you get in Mexico. And great prices! Maybe the drinks are too expensive... but still the simplicity, the self-service and the very special kind of people working there (some might call it unpolite, I call them relaxed) makes me feel very comfortable there. And also: going there is the best medicine against your hangover. And try the Agua de Horchata - delicious!
google avatar

Jakob P.

Yelp
This is a pretty authentic Mexican restaurant. Probably THE most authentic (and tasty!) tacos in Berlin. On the other hand, the portions are really small and the place is quite cramped, which is ok considering the prices are also pretty good. If you simply feel like having a great taco and you are far away from Mexico or California, you certainly won't be disappointed here.
google avatar

Greg B.

Yelp
Legit Mexican food in the heart of Berlin! Got the tacos de conchinita pabil and was blown away by the juicy pork and the tasty hot sauces that accompanied the dish. Pico de gallo was also on point. Staff was super nice and service was fast (this is a good thing for this American expat). The ambiance was ideal with Spanish being spoken all around and Mexican tunes playing in the background. Location is in the heart of the gorlitzer park area which can be exciting or terrifying depending on where you're from. For me, it felt like Van Nuys, CA which is the ideal setting for good Mexican food. Only downside was the small number of tables but I understand you could take your food to go. Total meal was less than ten euro and was worth every bit. Will be definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Excellent little Mexican joint - best I've had so far in Germany. They know what Mexican food is supposed to look/taste like and they come through on service to boot. Great margarita- good flavor and didn't skimp on the alcohol. The enchiladas verdes had a nice kick and the nachos were decent too. I also applaud the fact that they worked quickly to correct my order after they brought chicken when I ordered potato.
google avatar

Tara M.

Yelp
A lot of people have been raving about this place but I don't get what the whole big deal is. The place is small, usually crowded, and sort of expensive for what you get. The chips and gauc are good but really expensive for the amount of chips that you see bordered around the bowl. It is really good though, and not that avocado-creme that is starting to show up at some restaurants (That is a mix of sour cream and avocado! Real guac is mainly avocado based!) I had the vegetarian tacos and they didn't fill me up. Hence, why I also got nachos. I also had a burrito once and was okay with it-- but this isn't real Mexican food. Good thing: they also have tamales! (I haven't tried them yet though) The staff is nice and I am sure that if I wasn't limited to vegetarian options, I might have a more authentic experience. So far, being a native Californian, I still have yet to be impressed by the Mexican offerings in Berlin. For such an international city, I find this really really sad :-( I should open up my own taco truck...

Yelp
The food was great like someone else wrote already it's like some prepared great dishes for u at home and the same it is for the ambience it's nice and cosy and u feel welcome!

Yelp
This is the second time I've been here and it's definitely worth stopping in. The first time, I was extremely hungry (hangry) after a series of delayed flights and just wanted something quick and easy. Chicken quesadilla and a margarita was just right. The second time, picadillo nachos (beef) and chorizo quesadilla (......and a margarita). Both were quick trips to hold me over and it was damn goooood both times. Next time I'm in Berlin, I'll make sure to drop in.
google avatar

Yelp
It was good mexican food for Berlin. I'm starting to think that I won't find anyplace that really could hold its own if it were in Texas, but that's jut the crutch of nostalgia I guess. The quesadillas were fine, the salsa was fine. I wasn't mad at anything (except for the fact that they don't have a blended margarita), I just wasn't too impressed either, so I was disappointed. The place is better than this review is making it seem but i'm: disappointed. PS the drinks were small and expensive so I literally sprinted around to the Späti instead.

Yelp
My friend spoke highly about this place and recommend it. I was happy to finally try it and my first impression was that it seemed cozy and authentic. I was excited to see a Mexican person working there so I came very excited to talk to and ask for recommendations, right away the man was annoyed I spoke in Spanish to him and was really arrogant the whole time, but in general the bummer here is that he doesn't even know how to explain certain dishes from Mexico to new costumers who never tasted it. I lived in Mexico and New York (where there are many outstanding Mexican places) and I know that the best way to explain a Mole dish is by describing it like a Curry not on taste but on preparation and consistency (Hey even Octavio Paz described it that way on a visit to India) I mentioned that to my german friend who asked and immediately the waiter said no and funnily got offended and poorly explained. So dear waiter: if you are going to be unfriendly at least have some more knowledge on your job and culture! As for the drinks the Michelada was good, tacos were boring and dry (I recommend better the ones from Maria Bonita) and overall experience La lucha have the nicest and most knowledgeable staff for Mexican food. Not sure if I would come back there, to get rolled eyes by the staff on every interaction thank you but no thank you.

Yelp
I kind of like the food here, as a North American who eats Mexican all the time at restaurants back at home in LA. But the service is horrible. The small Spanish speaking girl was very rude and aggressive. We had a quick meal, and she wouldn't let two of us sit at a huge reserved table, which was reserved for over an hour away from when we had to eat - very unnecessary as we wanted to be in and out quickly. We had to sit outside on wet table, getting our butts wet! When we paid, after I had a horribly salty Aztec soup, she couldn't provide us with the proper change, and when I asked why, she just said "you can't take my tip money back" and slid the 2 euros away quickly. They also don't accept card. Very unprofessional to not have correct change for customers! Especially when it is so busy??? The food was OK, but the guacamole is horribly watery and the soup too salty. Not worth the horrible customer service, which left me feeling very annoyed. I would recommend going to the Taco Truck or to Baby Burrito in Neukolln instead.

Yelp
It's tough to find real, good Mexican food in Berlin, but this place has it. The restaurant is small, and food didn't come out super quickly, but we didn't think the wait was too bad. I got a Chimichanga with Chorizo, and my companion a Quesadilla with Chorizo, and I could resoundingly recommend either. They come with refried beans and some lettuce and tomatoes. Prices were reasonable (6.50€ and 7€ respectively). There is a selection of specialty meat and vegetarian fillings, which I look forward to trying. They also have a nice selection of tequila and mescal. All in all, for Americans in Berlin missing Mexican food, this is probably one of the best options.
google avatar

Simone S.

Yelp
Very good small (tiny) taqueria in the heart of Kreuzberg. If you are in Berlin and terribly miss Mexican food this is the place for you. Hign quality fresh ingredients and tasty food, they offer plenty of vegetarian options for any of their staples Nachos, tacos and Burritos. Friendly staff they speak both Spanish and English.

Yelp
Pretty nice place but the prices were high for the amount of food that you got. The food itself had decent taste but nothing out of this world. The people were nice. Last time I ate there was 2 years ago though...

Yelp
Weak tacos, tasteless small and expensive. Tried all sorts of different things there....just bad. No No and No.

Yelp
Brightly decorated little Mexican taqueria serving up soups, tacos, quesadillas, burritos, etc. There are a few veggie and vegan options available. I had soya mole tacos - I'm not a big fan of soy meat substitutes but the tacos were fine and at the price you can't go wrong. Good if you are just looking for a casual place to grab a few cold beers, have some freshly made Mexican snacks and chill out.

Yelp
It was peak time when we went there so we waited about 40 mins however the meat was tasteless and the tacos were not that great, I feel bad for not recommending the taqueriaas it comes highly recomended. The mole tasted really bad and the meats were very tough.

Yelp
Fantastic! Had the nachos and enmoladas. The flavors were so right as were the portions. Belly so full and happy. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
I moved to Berlin a year and a half ago from Mexico City. I heard from this place and being homesick I decided to try it out. It was delicious and the host couldn't be nicer... simply MEXICAN! I strongly recommend it porque SI está cabrón de bueno!

Yelp
Best Mexican in Berlin and possibly Europe. I have a sick fascination with trying Mexican food in other countries. This is one I'd eat if I was back in the States. Highly recommend if you are looking for a taco while abroad.

Yelp
Ok, this place IS friggin awesome! I went here with my girlfriend today and had vegetarian 'soya mole tacos', which are these soy-based meat replacement things with mole. Really, really good. My girlfriend had the 'tacos del mar', seafood tacos, which meant tacos and shrimp. she loved it. also had chips and guacamole as an appetizer. chips are housemade and delish, so was the guac. we were so happy we had another order of the soya mole tacos to share, and we left really happy. Each serving of tacos were only EUR3... which is ... just awesome. couldn't have been happier and will be back.

Yelp
Tiny restaurant with amazing Mexican food. Always packed. Cheap but delicious. Try the Quesadillas Picardillo!

Yelp
A nice small place in Xberg to get an almost authentic bite of Mexican food. It's usually very crowded and the service can lack a bit of good manner but it's worth a visit if you are around and fancy Mex. I suggest the quesadilla de pollo that has chocolate sauce too, it reminded me a bit of the real Mole. Anyway, every dish is a bit over average for Berlin, and the location is optimal.

Yelp
I came here a few years ago and it was actually pretty good - I'm a Mexican food snob and normally will never eat it in Europe. But, I've since come back about 2 years later and its changed. the taco fillings were pretty flavorless, the guacomole was probably canned and "livened" up with too much lime juice, the chips had no salt on them. All in all pretty disappointing.

Yelp
I really like this place. I had pretty much given up on finding good mexican food in berlin after the disaster in london. But this place is really great! it's pretty small with only about 7 tables and a decent sized menu (not large not small) but the dished they have are delicious. I had tacos, nachos, guacamole, and a dessert and everything was really yummy and for a second actually let me forget that i was dining in berlin. the staff is also very friendly and the decor gives it a nice vibe. I was really excited to see that they had prawn tacos, tamale, and mole sauce. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, so i'll definitely be back here to try some other dishes.

Yelp
Food is OK but service is very poor. On a day with few clients, it took them 40 minutes to get the food out. When it finally came, they had forgot one of our orders. They did nothing to compensate us. Payments were also very slow and simple things like paying separately where handled poorly.
