We had a lovely stay at this ryokan.
The seafood was some of the best we've had in Japan. The second day was even more luxurious than the first. It's worth staying an extra night just for this!
My husband has strict dietary restrictions (no meat, fish, or egg). Usually, we've found that substitutions means the quality and variety of food are not great, but the chef went above and beyond. Some of his dishes were better than mine!
The service was excellent. We especially loved Yukie-san who took care of everything for us. By the second morning she learned all of our preferences and made sure we felt at home.
The facilities and baths are a little outdated, but the rooms are recently renovated. We loved the rotenburo (private bath) on our balcony. You can ask the front desk to adjust the temperature to your liking.
