I also thought this was a mobile food truck when I drove by on Germantown Parkway. But upon arrival, I see this is a permanent setup. The employees were attentive and acknowledged me as soon as I walked up. They were mindful by asking if I wanted jalapeños. I said yes, but I should’ve said no because they were very spicy. The burrito was very huge and filling and most importantly, tasty.

Delicious tacos, tried veg and my friend tried the chicken taco. Well cooked and straight from the pan. Found this place on while searching for street style tacos. I had to come back again definetly.

We stopped by the Taco Cat food truck for a late lunch. We always pass by and finally had time to stop and try the food. It was easy to park by the gas station and find a table to sit down, but it wasn't a peak time, so that may not always be the case. The seating area had good shade, access to trash cans, and was very clean. The planters, greenery, and colorful tables made it pleasant to sit there despite being in a parking lot between a gas station and a busy street. The lady who took our order was very nice and welcoming. She asked if we had any questions, and we didn't feel rushed to order. She happily adjusted our order to our preferences. My husband and I shared a Birria Combo, a street corn cup, a shrimp street taco, and a large Coke. The tacos were amazing! The birria tacos were so delicious we will definitely have to have them again. They were piping hot, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The sauces were well made, flavorful but not overpoweringly spicy or salty. Very messy to eat if you're not careful, but so worth it. The shrimp taco was good, too. The street corn was okay, but not my fave. It had a nice spice to it, but the corn didn't seem to be fresh corn cut off the cob. Next time, we might try the birria pizza and tres leches cake. Thanks for a great lunch!

Such a cute set up ! The customer service was just as good as their food ! My family & I will definitely be back! ♥️ We really liked being able to sit outside in the shade as well! 10 out of 10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND ! stop by you won’t be disappointed

I came from Nashville to Memphis for a family reunion and wanted to stop at Taco Cat since I heard all the rave. We bought Birria Pizza, Mexican corn, Birria sauce & Jamaica Drink. The website is miss leading. I didn't know it was a Taco Truck and my own personal preference I don't general eat off a truck. HOWEVER, the food was hot. The drink was cold and the corn was spicy. I did expect a little bit more from the pizza, but it was good. I did ask the other customers what to get and food was tasty. Could use more salt but it was loaded with meat and tasty.

The service and atmosphere was great, but the food wasn't as good as I expected. I was not impressed, and neither was my family when they ate their food too. I feel that the prices were a bit high for the quality of food. While the food was prepared well and cooked nicely and the portions were large, it's the quality of the ingredients that I feel could be better.

First time coming here. Tried two chicken street tacos and a chicken burrito. Service was normal. No complaints. Order came out in about 7 minutes as promised. Tacos and burritos were delicious. I didn't care for the sauces. I like extra spicy food and neither of the sauces were hot enough for me. Other than that, i enjoyed everything. I'll be back to try the Tortas

4 star only because the consume for the birria tacos didnt have much flavor. The tacos themselves were amazing! But looking for a great combo of both and it just didn't work out this one time for me. Will give it another go sometime :) Service was great! Super nice folks!

I keep forgetting to take pictures of the food, I just be straight digging THE best street tacos I've had and I've had my fair share in street tacos. The Birria?!? Give me 10 more PLEASE I be wanting to try more from the menu but the birria tacos.... it's always calling

We had this delivered to the hospital the night we were waiting on my first grand. It came pretty quickly, it was packaged well, looked nice, had all of the right condiments and items needed to enjoy the giant Birria Pizza, Taco Cat, thinger. It's like a quesadilla, stuffed with goodness, but not folded, with two tortilla shells, one on each side. We also ordered consume, a side of refried beans, and some churros for desert as well. Birria lacked flavor, so did the consume. That was a giant let down. The meat was tender and I ate it, but I juiced it big time with the red salsa for some taste. Red and green salsa were the hits and saved the day. Beans were way cool, so the cheese was hard and didn't mix so it came out in clumps. Hit it with salsa. Fixed all the probs with the heat. I will say, for a side, a quart is a lot. Churros were pretty good. No sauce accompanied them. Salsa is even good on them. Try it! '24 - 9/10

So this place has made its mark in Germantown. FOOD: They have their burria pizza that is delicious, but I LOVE it with the green sauce. That sauce makes it sing! They give you plenty of churros in the order as well. I had their mexican street tacos, steak burrito.... I've never been disappointed. You will not leave the place feeling like you aren't going to get full. AMBIANCE: The restaurant is a food truck, but they are set up like a staple, so there are tables available for a dine-in experience right outside of the truck. SERVICE: The service there is very kind, hospitable, and quick. You won't be disappointed in the service there. And they deliver via door dash and other delivery services!

Overpriced , bad service and dry! Save your money and go elsewhere , these place doesn't care about the customer or providing their customers with quality food, this used to be the place to come for pizza birria but the quality is not the same . Would give it -stars if I could.

Don't believe the hype. For me, I was so excited after hearing so many reviews. However, my food, Birria pizza and the elote were both subpar. The pizza lacked seasoning and was very bland along with the consume. The elote was very watery with more corn and juice than anything else. I did enjoy the steak nachos the best. They weren't the best I have had but it was the best out of the three things I ordered on this day. By the wait time I just knew it was being prepared with love but I feel they rushed it. The staff was kinda short when I was asking questions so they weren't as helpful. For all of the food I didn't pay a bad price, so I really wished I had a better experience. This is my go to taco truck!! Food is good and seasoned!! Great customer service! I need to try the churros next! And the " Taco pizza"!

Quick and affordable, this is a decent option for your taco fix. The shrimp in the shrimp tacos are tiny little salad shrimp, which was a bit of a disappointment, but those refried beans are the real deal!

Had pastor tacos, asada burrito, and canitas torta. The tacos were good but the torta was not very good ( bit into a whole bay leaf ) and the burrito was just okay. But good location and friendly staff/ fast service.

We ordered Door Dash after seeing an advertisement on Tik Tok for the Birria pizza. We ordered that as well as the birria tacos, chicken tacos, rice, and Mexican street corn cup. Holy crap! Everything was delicious, and that's saying something because it was a 20 minute delivery drive to our house. Would absolutely recommend. Delicious!

Food was great. Mexican corn was delicious. The lady taking order can be a bit nicer.

I got the birria pizza, it came with consome and 2 different sauces. red was my favorite, it was spicer! also got a side of refried beans, I like having the variety. service was good too, called it in and it was ready for me when I got there. the outside seating is nice too but it was too hot for me to sit outside so I took it home. will be back , thank you taco cat :)

This is just a taco truck/taco trailer. That being said I go out of my way to try authentic tacos everywhere I go and these are hands down the best I have ever had. They are soooo good I was working close by and went there almost daily I tried several different things from their menu and everything was wonderful. They have taco, burritos, quesadillas, tortas and a few different sides. The prices were a little high for a taqueria, but everything is a little expensive right now. If you like things spicy they have a dark almost black salsa with oil they is smokey and sweet that you have to try.

Maybe I visited on a bad day. The food was not as good as what I expected. I've heard this is the place to go for authentic Mexican street food. I've had better at Taco Bell ‍

Horrible, found insects in my food! Beware they will tell you protein salsa and pico it out. Woman at register barely understood that menu does not show insect life as an item. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE IS PAID UP.

Amazing Birria Tacos . The service is very quick, you can call ahead or just go order at the window.

The absolute best burrito I've ever had in my life. I got the Al pastor burrito and I kid you not it melted in my mouth. Great flavor, very fresh (I think tortilla is fresh made), great service.
