I ordered the Tortas of pulled pork and I wasn't expecting diced pineapple in them XD since I'm from Tex-Mex as in live near the border of Mexico in Southern part of Texas. It's very tangy and my only suggestion is to dice up the cilantro a bit more than leaving big chunks of it in some areas. This will help you sprinkle it more with ease. Not too small btw. Don't be scared about the stem of the cilantro btw We eat that as well since it's delicious too when diced. Adds more flavor with the leaves of the cilantro.
Also the red onions are good, just make sure you sprinkle it across the torta.
Also my recommendation is to add qúeso fresco in them too and avocado as well as an option for the Tortas. And perhaps add an option for pineapple pieces too.
In my hometown, they also slap in sandwich ham which is grilled as well and place it in as an option. Grilled onions as well can be an option for the Tortas.
It's very good though. Very unique in a good way hahaha. It's just so new for pineapple pieces to be in a Mexican dish I have ate for YEARS in my hometown hahaha. (I'm just visiting this town for a month and this is awesome 😎✨)
Called my mom about it too and she said how interesting you guys do the Tortas up here in ohio. She said she'll probably add them in her recipes now lol

There aren't many restaurants in Oberlin. Every place we tried didn't open until 3:30/4:00. Taco flavored kisses was open, it is an oasis! They're offering fresh, high-quality, authentic food for a great price. Every bite was fantastic! We are so glad the other places were closed because now we have a new destination.

Went for the first time and the atmosphere is awesome. Music volume just right so you can talk with friends/family and still have background music. The food was amazing and you can taste the freshness of everything. I will definitely be returning and definitely recommend. The only thing I would add is i wish they had small flour shells for the street tacos (yes I know it's not traditional but would be a nice option. Either way the corn shells were delicious and do add another layer of flavor). Me and my family tried a good bit of the menu between us all and It was all amazing, everyone agrees we need to go back. Give it a try!!!

Our family loves TFK! We previously were big fans of Agave. We have ordered takeout and delivery in the past and everything has been accurate and on time. I recently dined in with my youngest for lunch: the food was fresh and the staff was attentive to my child.

Gluten free? Worried about cross contamination? This restaurant maintains a gluten free kitchen. Everything is fresh and made by hand: corn tortillas, soups, tamales, salsas, horchata, etc. Only the flour tortillas are not gf and not made on site. Authentic family recipes. Everything I've tried has been delicious.

Love that they have so many vegan options. Homemade tortillas for tacos are the best. Can’t go wrong trying any of their options though. Great people opening a great spot. Will be back again and again!

The meat lovers soup (beef and pork in consume) was incredible!!! We also had a bowl and asada tacos, which were fantastic. Will definitely be back our next time in town.

I came to try the food for the first time.
It was very confusing for me as to what the menu was...there are different types of food posted in different places. I didn't get any real help once I asked the cashier. I had to stand there for what seemed like an eternity before I just picked a quesadilla( i felt horrible because there was a line of people waiting behind me.) The price of the quesadilla was almost$20!!!! I didn't get anything extravagant on it. I would say it's a great place for the college kids.

Yelp
I love some good tacos. My daughter wanted to try the Birria and I just wanted something new. Oberlin isn't too far from where I live. So I drove there. Yes the spot is located in a college area of course. The place is small but the options are phenomenal. The owner greeted us. She explained what was the special of the day and what was on the board. I got the Birria quesadilla plus the empanada birria and my daughter just got a chicken quesadilla from the bar. The food was so delicious. The trip was definitely worth coming back for more.

Yelp
A little chaotic in here BUT if you have someone in your group who needs gluten-free food (in my case, my kid), this place makes good gluten-free food, in a separate space in the kitchen. It's casual and, as I said, a little chaotic--if you can, grab a table / seat first and then go order--but the food is good.

Yelp
Taco Flavored Kisses is a casual taqueria in the heart of Oberlin. I stopped in while in the area and looking for quality food. This taqueria is open on Monday unlike many other local restaurants. The restaurant has a small patio with five tables. The interior contains festive bright orange walls and minimal decor. There are four tables and three high tops inside. They are pretty spread out so you can have a more private dinner with your company. During my dinner there were quite a few students who picked up to go orders, only a few people chose to dine in. The students seemed to be regulars.
Guests self-order at the counter and sit wherever they want. You are served with 5-10 minutes at your table which is excellent. You can choose items from the kitchen or build your own (Chipotle style). Service is very friendly. Everyone is greeted upon entry. The wait staff seems to know many people by name. Students were trained as employees when I was in. They were trying very hard and were receiving very patient guidance. I feel confident that they'll do very well with service long-term.
The food is okay but nothing to rave about to be very honest. If I was a college student, I would probably devour this food though. I ordered Street Taco Plate with 3 tacos (quesa birria with consume) with arroz rojo and black beans, Sweet Potato Fries (with queso sauce), and water. My grand total was $28.76 before tip. Street taco plate had tacos that were over-fried with meat that was too salty. They were just not too cohesive and too greasy for my liking. The black beans and rice were presented in the same container which made this combo too watery. The rice didn't taste all the way cooked through. Beans were actually pretty good and weren't falling apart. The side queso (upgrade of $2.50) was tasty but seemed to be standing out for a while and solidified a bit. The fries had a very generous serving, they were almost the size of my palm. I felt like for $6.50 (for the fries)
it was a great value. They were a bit dry but pretty good. They also had aqua fresca but I opted in for water. I noticed that most people ordered tacos at other tables. Maybe other food choices are better. I didn't get through most of my food and didn't get it to go either.
Lastly about parking. Street parking is available around the area. On a Monday there were many options, not sure about the weekend. Definitely make a day out of being in Oberlin when visiting this taqueria. The area is very walkable and has a lot of points of interest.

Yelp
Cute and festive fast casual dining option in Oberlin. They have festive music playing and indoor seating. There is a counter to order at with all the toppings to build a bowl. They also have street tacos and burritos. They seemed to have a nice selection of spicer salsas as well.
I ordered a bowl. It costs extra for a meat option but it does come with a bag of chips. I felt like the portion was on the smaller side. It had good flavor with fresh ingredients.

Yelp
Food is mediocre at best and way overpriced for what it is. Customer service is sorely lacking . Especially from the snippy old woman who works the cash register. If you want authentic, delicious tacos, at better prices in Oberlin, Lupuita's is the place to go.

Yelp
Idk how long they been here but what a gem. The quesabirria plate is one of the better ones I've had in North East Ohio. After I ordered that and drooled everywhere, I decided to try the Carne asada, carnitas, and al pastor. All amazing. Definitely worth stopping in.

Yelp
Wow! My family ordered the Bichotas (with toppings from the line) without ever having heard of or tried them before... and they blew us away! I would 100% recommend it to anyone who can handle just a little kick. And, the people there were so kind and even gave us a little sample of their fresh made berry-peachy juice, which was amazing BTW. Will definitely return when we're in the area again.

Yelp
Our group tried the quesabirria, al pastor and carne tacos and all were very good! Staff are super friendly too. Highly recommend.
