Taco Taco Monteverde

I picked this place almost randomly and it didn’t disappoint! The place is decorated very nicely and it has an amazing view. Parking was a bit hard to find for us but we ended up parking just on the side of the road. The food was really good! We got tacos and the combination of flavors were different and unique! .The staff is super nice. Highly recommended!

We visited this restaurant for a lunch and it was not busy at all. They serve Mexican food, the burritos taste very good but unfortunately the salad that was served tasted off, as if it had gone bad. The horchata on the other hand was very good! The staff was very friendly, the views they offer from their terrace are one of the best in the center. The prices were on the higher side for the food you get. Still, it is worth a visit

Absolutely LOVED Taco Taco! We visited twice in the <48 hours that we were in Monteverde! Love the vibes and staff were so friendly. We recommend the Yucatán corn taco/burrito and the Chilaquiles. Salsas were spicy which I loved, but definitely something to watch out for if you have sensitive tastes. The churros and elotes were great as well!

Very touristy. I only went here to join the group. Be aware that the prices on the menu do not include an extra 10% service charge plus 13% tax — this is only mentioned in small print. There are much better local "Sodas" (small local restaurants) in the surrounding area that offer more honest pricing and a more authentic experience.

Absolutely phenomenal food! We ordered the Baja Tacos, the Tostadas La Macha, Ceviche Tacos, Cheese quesadillas (for the fussy eater) plus Churros for dessert. Everything was of high quality, full of flavour and beautifully presented. Easily the best Mexican food we've all ever had and my favourite so far in Costa Rica. My little one tried everything and loved it which is an absolute rarity! They have their own hot sauce too which was woowwww! Josue was so friendly, kind and said he'd make space if we came back later. I recommend getting there before 6 as then it's fully packed with a queue forming fast.

This was by far the best meal I have had in Costa Rica. I had chicken tacos and they were just perfection. The right amount of spice and quality ingredients. Very cool vibe at this location also.

Super atmospheric restaurant with really good Mexican food. Very delicious tacos. I got 2 tacos with beef and mango. Very tasteful and juicy. But husband got a burrito with chicken which was also good. They both came with a little side dish of totopos and kale. I also got a ginger-passionfruit-drink which was superb 👌 The atmosphere was super cozy and nice. There was live music and we enjoyed the dining a lot. The prices are also super reasonable. The staff was extremely friendly and sweet. The place is very popular for a good reason. Biggest recommendation ✨

Tasty food, a little secret gem if you want a break from the local cuisine. Great service and they also have a good selection of beers. In walking distance from downtown.
