Taco Taco Monteverde

We visited this restaurant and tried four different dishes, and the food was delicious. Every dish was well prepared, nicely presented, and full of flavor. You can tell that the kitchen puts effort into the quality, and overall we really enjoyed what we ate. The service was good – the staff was friendly and polite – but there is still some room for improvement. While everyone was nice and helpful, the overall service experience could have been more attentive and a bit more organized. The main reason we are giving four stars instead of five is the waiting time. We had to wait over an hour for our food, which is quite long, especially when you’re hungry. If the waiting time were shorter, this place would easily deserve a higher rating because the food itself was very good. Overall, it’s a nice restaurant with tasty food, and with faster service it could become an excellent spot. We would still recommend it and would come back, hoping for a quicker experience next time.

Tacos + hibiscus tea (jamaica) were delish and they even have their own house made salsa bottled. Spice with local Panamanian peppers. Churros for dessert also good. Came with choice of dulce de leche or spicy chocolate which I did not try but sounds intriguing. Very friendly and attentive staff.

This is a great place to take your hungry family. The atmosphere was energetic, the food was fresh and delicious. Portion sizes are good and the prices are fair. All of the staff are great and attentive; they even provided a poncho so my child wouldn’t be so cold sitting outside. Overall it was a great experience.

Delicious tacos in the heart of Monteverde!Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and super friendly service. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, perfect after a day of exploring. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in town!

We had a tasty meal here as a family looking at the late afternoon misty rain fall. The service is caring, the food is flavorful. It's affordable compared to other places in Monteverde but the prices are comparable to the US or Canada. I really enjoyed the locally brewed IPA which had a nice honey taste. We sat outside but indoors looked cosy and had a cool vibe.

Great lively spot in Santa Elena, one of the best spicy margaritas I've ever had! Amazing chimichangas & sides. Do be mindful portions are enormous, they kindly packed up my leftovers for tomorrow. Loved it! A perfect way to end a day of walking and enjoying Monteverde!

Service was very slow and many items shown on the menu were unavailable. Portion sizes were fine. Drinks were very good and the restaurant has an extensive drink menu. However the menu seemed to be geared toward American tourists.

We visited this restaurant for a lunch and it was not busy at all. They serve Mexican food, the burritos taste very good but unfortunately the salad that was served tasted off, as if it had gone bad. The horchata on the other hand was very good! The staff was very friendly, the views they offer from their terrace are one of the best in the center. The prices were on the higher side for the food you get. Still, it is worth a visit
