We had an amazing family dinner at Taco Bar in Jacó! The relaxed, open-air vibe with swing seats and beachy atmosphere was perfect for us—super fun and laid-back. The mahi teriyaki bowl was outstanding: fresh, flaky mahi mahi glazed in a delicious teriyaki sauce, served over rice with vibrant veggies and toppings from their awesome all-you-can-eat salad bar. It was flavorful, hearty, and one of the best bowls we’ve had in Costa Rica—highly recommend it! A huge shoutout to our server Vanessa, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made our family feel so welcome. She gave great recommendations, checked on us regularly, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Exceptional service like hers really elevated the experience.

The food was very good here but the service was so incredibly slow. They seemed to have more than one server but only one was taking orders or providing bills. The price was also pretty high for tacos. Even for Jaco.

Shockingly, not a taco restaurant. So much variety for this outdoor restaurant. Tacos, asian bowls, hamburgers, tapas.. you'll have plenty to choose from. Inexpensive meal, food is really good and the staff are attentive. We had the burrito, 12hr ribs, Asian bowl. All very tasty and flavorful. We'd go back.

Omg this place is phenomenally amazing, food was mouthwatering and delicious. Great portions and employees are amazingly friendly and welcoming. Vanessa was out of the world amazing, she helped me when I was speaking a little Spanish and very sweet. Definitely coming back soon especially when I make another trip to Costa Rica! Pura Vida!

Fish soup was great! Seared tuna phenomenal. Burger was over salted. Strawberry lemonade was off the charts!! Venessa was an incredible server. Thank you for making our experience great!

All the ladies working on Sunday night were great. We got the chicken Al pastor, steak fajitas, and grilled shrimp tacos. We also got the ceviche and salad bar. Everything was delicious!

Had a great experience at Taco Bar in Jacó! Our waitress, Sierra, was in training, but she did an excellent job—she was kind, helpful, and already knew the menu well. She gave us great recommendations on both drinks and food, which made our visit even better. The atmosphere was fantastic—warm, inviting, and perfect for dining on the patio. For drinks, I had the Fresa Limonada, and my partner had the Mojito Kiwi Fresa—both were REALLY good, super refreshing, and full of flavor. For food, I ordered the Fish and Chips, and they came out hot, fresh, and perfectly crispy. Everything was well-prepared and delicious. Overall, the service, food, and drinks made for an amazing experience. I would definitely return here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jacó!

One affordable and delicious find in jaco I got the two tacos in my husband got the three tacos and they both come with the salad bar. You can choose difference proteins for each taco.
